Shell Hotel (Anqing Renmin Road Petrochemical No.1 Middle School Yingjiang Temple)

The room was bright and clean, very close to the river; Yingjiang Temple is a 5-minute walk away, and the food street is a 10-minute walk. Cleaning was prompt. The only inconvenience was the lack of conditioner.

Seeing a 99 RMB special offer room on **, I was worried about the cleanliness of the hotel room, so I consulted customer service on Ctrip. In the end, I decided to book a business double room on Ctrip for 114 RMB, which was cheaper than **, but I was still a little apprehensive. Unexpectedly, the room surprised me; the cleanliness was quite good. As for barley tea and candies/snacks, I didn't see them, nor did the front desk mention them. I checked in after 8 PM and checked out at 6 AM, so that didn't bother me.

I arrived at the hotel a bit late, but the receptionist was very welcoming and upgraded my room. The room wasn't large, but it was well-equipped, clean, and brightly lit. The mattress was especially comfortable, and the bedding was made of a very soft, skin-friendly material. Recommended.

Overall, it's great value for money. The hotel rooms are spacious and clean, and it's very quiet during the off-season. There's a bus stop right downstairs. Anqing has frequent bus services, making it quite convenient to get around. There are also many small restaurants nearby.

I've stayed at this hotel multiple times. A fantastic hotel experience, highly recommended! The receptionist and housekeeping staff are all incredibly kind and helpful. Excellent Location: The hotel's location is superb, with excellent transportation access. There are subway and bus stops nearby, making it easy to get to the city center, popular attractions, the airport, and the train station. There are also many shopping malls, supermarkets, and food streets nearby, satisfying my shopping and local food cravings. After shopping in the evening, I can easily pick up some snacks to take back to the hotel – so relaxing! Comfortable and Pleasant Rooms: My room was cozy and clean, and very spacious. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the mattress was just the right firmness, ensuring a good night's sleep every night. The room's soundproofing was excellent, completely undisturbed by outside noise. The bathroom was clean and hygienic, with all necessary toiletries, all high-quality brand-name products. The attentive room service every day kept the room impeccably organized, making me feel right at home. Thoughtful and Attentive Service The hotel staff are incredibly attentive to service. From check-in to check-out, every step was meticulously cared for. During check-in, the front desk staff were warm and friendly, processing my check-in quickly and providing detailed information about the hotel facilities and the surrounding area. When I encountered any problems in my room, I called customer service, and they quickly arranged for someone to resolve the issue – their efficiency was outstanding. Furthermore, the hotel offers complimentary luggage storage and wake-up calls, which is truly thoughtful. Whether for business or leisure travel, this is an excellent choice. I highly recommend it to everyone; I'm sure you'll love this hotel as much as I do!

Hygiene: Excellent! ...

The room rate is a bit inflated, even at 11am. The location is decent, but the room is really small, the sanitation is terrible, and the facilities are old. There are even bugs and hair on the floor. The soundproofing is also poor; any B&B would be better, especially if it's part of the GreenTree Inn chain.

The hotel is in a great location, very close to Yingjiang Temple, a 7-8 minute walk. The parking lot is probably shared with a neighboring company, and when it was full, guests couldn't park there. They had to park on the street, which the hotel reimbursed, but it was still quite inconvenient. The bathroom door wouldn't close, but it was okay for a business trip.
