Sheraton Fuerteventura Beach, Golf & Spa Resort

Spent the New Year here and had a superb time. Excellent staff, great room and overall a lovely place for some winter sun. Came to the Sheraton for some winter sun and a weeks relaxation after Chris**as. The hotel is a €20 taxi ride from the airport and takes around 20 minutes. Once at the hotel you are met by friendly reception staff, who are efficient and cannot do enough for you. Acknowledgment was made of our Bonvoy Status, which was greatly appreciated. Once checked in we were offered a cool drink of juice or bubbles as a welcome to the hotel. We were appointed a Seaview deluxe room on the fourth floor, before going here I did not appreciate how big the hotel was, but it is a large property. The room was large, being fully tiled with a typical décor of the region and it was spotless. The bathroom has separated sink area, toilet/bidet and bath shower area, which was again fully tiled. The whole room was clean with well-appointed and maintained décor and furnishings. We had a king bed and the linen and mattress were extremely comfortable leading to many nights enjoyable rest. The room had a large balcony with great views over the bay and was furnished with good quality chairs and table, to relax in for your morning coffee and afternoon peppermint tea!! Once we had settled into to our new abode for the next seven nights, a knock came at the door and we were presented with an ice-cold bottle of bubbles and a plate of macaroons as a complementary welcome gift. Which was a generous gesture. Breakfast was a buffet offering and there was so much choice, I feel for the number of people staying at the hotel the staff manage it really well. When there are issues, which will always occur with a hotel this size, the management and staff appear to address it and you do not see the issue again. All the restaurant staff could not do enough for you. The food is of excellent quality and there are some lovely breads, meats, cereals etc. Also, they do a vast hot plate section if you so wish it. As the food choice in the resort area was not to our choice and those that possibly were had closed for a holiday break, we ate most nights in the hotel buffet. Again, the selection was good ranging from themed evenings, with fresh crab, prawns, oysters, fish, meat and also selected hot pre prepared food. It was nice to have your meat or fish freshly cooked and accompanied by some fresh salad or cooked vegetables. For mass catering the food quality was exceptional. The local wines were nice too and reasonably priced for the range of hotel. The hotel is ideally located on a flat promenade within gated grounds that are immaculately maintained. There is a sandy beach across the path from the hotel, which was great for small children if the pools and activities within the hotel become too boring for them. During our visit there were no problems finding a spare lounger as there are a lot around the pools, however, you still get the “towel brigade” who feel they have to select their own by throwing down a towel and then not using it for hours! Just returned from a one week stay at the Sheraton, to celebrate two family big 0 birthdays. Overall, an enjoyable stay at the Sheraton and would likely return again. Positives 1. Rooms very clean on arrival, and regular cleaned throughout our stay. Sometimes our daughter was napping when they were due to clean the room, but cleaners returned at a later time when it was more convenient. 2. We went B & B. Breakfast was plentiful; lots of choice and all fresh! Couldn’t fault it. My daughter has a dairy allergy so I was particular impressed by the range of alternative milk so that she could have cereals! 3. Pool area very clean and tidy. My 2-year old loved the children’s pool. Lovely that 2 of the pools were heated too. 4. Staff generally really friendly and happy to help. (Though some had their off days) Negatives 1. It was a shame that there wasn’t a pool bar, instead of the pool restaurant. Often we fancied just a portion of chips or small snack. 2. Food and drink was quite expensive. Felt as though we were being punished for not having gone full board. 3 ice-creams cost €17 one day. A small coke was €4. 3. Check-in took ages! We did get offered a drink but it was incredibly slow. I’m sure this could be automated and staff could work slightly quicker when an influx of new arrivals are due. 4. Service at the piano lobby bar was extremely slow. Only one waiter! I hope this is resolved by the summer - assumed it was because we were early in the season. 5. Some of the deck chairs could do with replacing. Back rests were broken or missing entirely. We made do, but would have been a faff if the pool was busier. 6. As per a previous review we were given room 134. Though only expecting a pool view, we didn’t even have that. Instead a glass dome of the spa !! We didn’t spent a lot of time in the room, but nethertheless, it wasn’t a pool view! Suggested improvements: 1. Bottled water to be sold at reception. The shop.supermarket was a 5-10 minute walk but still would have more convenient. 2. Free mini golf. We went to one in the town as it was better value for money!

We spent a week at this lovely hotel and thad a great time and enjoyed ourselves.The staff are fantastic and nothing is to much problem for them.Our room was spacious,clean with a super comfy bed.The pool area is clean and large with plenty of sun beds.The pool bar had an excellent choice of lunch snacks which were more than generous in portions.Fresh sun bed towels whenever you wanted,no queuing or silly deposit system like other hotels. Breakfast was well presented with a good choice from fresh omelettes to fruit,breads cakes and the usual egg,bacon,sausages etc.A great Barista making you fresh coffee was a great touch rather than from a machine.My only fault was the evening meal.It lacked any sort of finesse.There was a good choice of fresh meats or fish cooked for you which were nice.The presentation of the other dishes left a lot to be desired.The hot buffet was very school dinners and presentation on old tired crockery was a shame.We were given an upgrade for 1 night to there a la carte which was fantastic with a great tasting menu.Overall I would return as a bed and breakfast guest as there is a good range of restaurants nearby.

Great hotel in a good location . For us it offered the combination of great food, good accommodation and plenty to keep our granddaughter occupied. Restaurant was excellent with attentive staff and a good choice of food for everyone. Evening entertainment was varied and better than anticipated with some professional acts. The pool areas were lovely with plenty of sun beds and although we were there in the Easter holidays it was busy but we still had a choice of sun bed areas . The pool entertainment was good especially for children without being overbearing. Only slight negative if I’m being picky was the inconsistency of room cleaning/servicing. We had 2 rooms for our small group. Shower gels etc were never replenished in one and towels were forgotten one day in the other. Our bedding was not changed at all during the week although beds were made up daily. We will possibly return next year as it really does offer overall a good balance of location and facilities. We liked the 15 min stroll into town and the quieter location away from the resort although this may not suit all. All in all a very good hotel.

Really beautiful hotel. Stunning gardens with fountains, beautiful flowers, bridges and a stream flowing throughout. Choice of swimming pools including a children's pool. Indoor pool and spa, however we did not have time to use it. Hotel is on the beachfront, you can walk out of the back gate and you will be at the beach. The hotel is well maintained and there are is a gift shop inside. Very close to some shopping centres including Atlantico (5 min walk) and further down the promenade there is another shopping centre and restaurants, cafes etc (15 min walk). The staff in particular make this hotel even more amazing. The restaurant staff, cleaning staff and entertainment team are friendly and helpful. The check in staff are so helpful and will do their best to assist in anything from booking taxis to suggesting restaurants etc. Breakfast buffet has a mixture of breads, cereals, cooked warm foods, fruit and yogurt and tea, coffee, juice and fresh smoothies. They also offer dinner options and an on site restaurant. This hotel is a must if visiting Fuerteventura and we hope to return. Thank you to all the lovely staff.

Definitely not a 5* that jet 2 advertise it as hotel is clean we went half board but regretted this as the food was awful Iv had better hospital dinners if your going to book go BB but check out other hotels as you can get better hotels at a better price rooms an corridors are very dated an the corridors have a funky smell also if your not aware like we wasn’t they want £80 a day deposit we stayed for 2 weeks so that’s over a thousand pound you have to put down Iv never in my whole time had to do this at a hotel an Iv been to a lot better places then this

We stayed at the Sheraton for our anniversary in 2023 and was so impressed that we booked a second stay in April 24. Customer service is second to none throughout the hotel compared with other hotels. Special mention to Elena and Tom who exceeded our expectations in actioning our personal requests. We stayed in a garden room which gave us easy access to the hotel's fabulous outdoor areas, the room was refreshed daily and the beds were so comfy. Large bathroom with a bath and separate walk in shower which gave a powerful supply of water. The heated swimming pool was just the right temperature and you could always find a sun lounger and shade. We stayed B&B this year which gave us the opportunity to try a few local restaurants however by far the best meal was at the hotel's Asian themed restaurant. The breakfast buffet is excellent with lots of choice including a good selection of bread, meats, and smoked salmon, washed down with a glass of cava . The hot breakfast buffet served the best grilled pork sausage outside of the UK ! Entertainment in the piano bar each evening was excellent and although our children are grown up, there was additional entertainment for the young ones. Already planning a return visit, possibly November and/or March to celebrate our birthdays.
