Toyoko Inn Shin-Aomori-Eki Higashi-Guchi

I was torn between staying in Aomori or Shin-Aomori Station, but since I was arriving by Shinkansen, I decided to stay right here at Shin-Aomori Station without hesitation. Turn left out of the station and it's just a few minutes' walk. I dropped off my luggage and started my itinerary right away. It's Toyoko Inn, offering their signature reliable and thoughtful service as always. The room is small but has everything you need, and there's free breakfast the next morning. Overall, it offers great value for money.

The location is excellent, right next to Shin-Aomori Station, just a 3-minute walk away. However, the breakfast was a bit weak; there wasn't much to eat, hardly any meat dishes, and it was very repetitive. It was also very inconvenient that the hotel didn't offer luggage storage. I had to store my luggage at the station's lockers every day, which cost an extra 30 yuan and was a hassle. It's a small thing, so I don't understand why they couldn't provide this service.

An upgraded business hotel, conveniently located near JR Shin-Aomori Station.

Although the hotel room was not big, it was clean and tidy. The breakfast was delicious, and the hotel's close proximity to the JR station made getting around incredibly convenient. The service was thoughtful and attentive, and overall, I had a comfortable stay. It's a great choice for travelers.

The location is super convenient, right near Shin-Aomori Station, though there's not much to explore in the immediate vicinity. However, when arriving by Shinkansen, the last thing you want is to haul all your luggage to transfer to a local JR train to Aomori. So, it was great to be able to drop off our bags directly at the station and then use Shin-Aomori as a hub to travel to other places.
