Holiday Inn Ardmore I-35

Convenient to the interstate but sufficiently removed to be very quiet, this hotel has a bright and cheery lobby (check out the pottery display to the left of the elevator bank), an adjoining restaurant, and a well stocked convenience pantry. Our room was well furnished, and clean, and we always appreciate a refrigerator that comes with a freezer element for our dry ice. The staff, especially Owen on the front desk, was friendly and helpful. The only odd thing about the hotel is that most of the parking in the front lot is reserved for the restaurant. We ended up parking in the back, which was inconvenient only to the extent that the luggage carts were all at the front entrance. It should also be noted that the outdoor pool is closed for the season.

My husband and I were in town for a quick anniversary trip, but before we could enjoy our time we needed to finish the work week. Friday my husband and I were in lobby working when I realized I only brought his power cord. I had another 7 hours of work but no power supply. I asked the front desk if they had an extra in lost and found. They checked but did not have the kind I needed. The owner came out and checked my laptop, he said I have one at home that will work. I’ll be right back. He did and it worked!! Thanks to his kindness I was able to complete my work for the day. The only difference between ordinary and extraordinary is a little extra. I certainly appreciate the owner leading by example and going the extra step. Appreciate the wonderful hospitality received at your Hampton Inn.

Friendly clerk and a clean room. Thin walls but I had a good AC unit that I could leave on the High Fan setting so no problem there. Adequate curbing area for my dogs. For the price this is a good value. Left too early for breakfast. Only suggestion: the back door to the first floor is not keyed so it remains open all night, which I think is a bit of a security issue, but like I said, I had two dogs with me.

My husband and I stayed here on our way from Nebraska to Texas. I really liked the floor plan of the room. It flows nicely and gives each side privacy. We were very happy with the cleanliness of the bed and the comfort of the mattress and the duvet. The air conditioner works well but the fan would not continue to circulate. The lighting is nice with lots of options. They had great customer service, I'm sure everyone tries their best. Even when calling days later they resolved my credit card issues. But that's about where it stops. The BREAKFAST was OK… Wish there were more options for fruit and fresh pastries. The eggs are not real and there was no meat besides the sausage gravy. Even the waffles are packaged. Upon entering the ROOM there was a huge stain on the carpet that was still sticky. We chose to wear our shoes instead of changing rooms. The hot water for the tub ran out before it was even full. I don't think the bathroom exhaust fan works. There was still moisture in the bathroom eight hours later with it running. The freezer in the kitchenette was dripping all over my items in the fridge and there was water spilling out. Our main reason for stopping here was for both of us to use their FITNESS room after driving for nine hours. Unfortunately only one of the two treadmills worked. It was ridiculously hot in there because the fan on the wall does not operate. There was also no water in the dispenser provided. However the treadmill that did work is a nice one and it's nice that they provide towels. I know that seems like a lot of complaints but for the price I paid, I'd still come back here and be able to overlook the negatives.

After the Bonvoy app confirmed reservation, there was no notification that the card was declined (2500 AC repair). Surprised when trying to use the app check in feature upon a late arrival. Room well done (with a sleep sofa). When contacting a néw night clerk about failed nightstand USB ports on each night stand, told sorry, no clue(thankfully could use the ones across the room from the bed). Woke too late for bfast, but diner a 1/4 mile away was perfect. Pool area beautiful if lacking the obligatory hottub. Fitness room has multiple aerobic options but only one bench and multiple hand bells. Adequate PC options/business center. Frig/microwave came in handy for leftovers. Phone controls for remote of screen too slow, use the actual remote. Did not put out the door handle placard, laundry change omitted. Spacious shower, but a lot of splash on outer floor as no closing panel .
