Wowwww! I can only say amazing things about this place... the owner Mr George, the staff Mina, Makis and the others are just great! The freshly made food and drinks are priceless with the breathtaking view "Window to Kephalonia" as someone called it there! Sunsets by the pool are unique here. The rooms have safe, fire jackets, small stove and oven with everything for cooking and a refrigerator... but why cook when they are such good cooks 🤩. I didn't need the ac, but there is one, as well as extra blankets if you need. If you need a hair dryer or iron they can lend you one at the front desk. If you cam drive manual cars I strongly recommend Alex from Via Venetia for great cars at amazing prices if you have International drivers license, otherwise get a well known car company Enterprice etc. A car is only recommended if you want to see the island. Liberatos Village is up a hill that will keep your body in shape and that bathingsuit looking great! Get a hat here and bring your sunblock! They offer small soaps, towels and bedsheets. I stayed here 7 nights and really felt at home... room F4 had an amazing balcony and spacious/comfortable room! Make sure to visit the Church up the hill and the cave inside the church!

Excellent village, excellent cleaning, excellent air conditioning and Wi-Fi. Strategic position between the airport and the capital, but a little on the hill, a car is also mandatory to get around the island.

This large complex is at the top of a very steep hill and you either need a car or are very fit to climb up and down twice a day. Upon arrival our room needed replacement lightbulbs, towels, toilet roll and hangers (we had 4). These requests were dealt with immediately. There is nowhere to put your small clothing items, there are no drawers / no furniture apart from the bed, so you either hang everything or you live out of the suitcase for your smaller items, or you could use the shelf over the kitchen area, as we did. You are supplied with tea bags/coffee/sugar and a small bottle of water per person. The pool was freezing cold in early Sept. The breakfast that comes with pre-payers is awful, see pic. The eggs are greasy, the juice is from concentrate and the coffee (not filter / you only get that when you pay). Even the pastries were rank.

Stayed 5 nights at the liberatos from the 20th September, in a queen room with a balcony. Greeted on our arrival by a lovely smiley young lady who took us to our room, upstairs and a short walk from the pool. Parking provided for our little panda. It’s a long way up hill from lassi, but fine if you like a challenge! The views are incredible, and the peace and tranquility wonderful. The rooms are basic but sufficient, ours was a one bed with a suspicious looking cooker hob type thing, but everything worked, was clean, air con free, two double patio doors from bedroom and living area, double bed in bedroom and single in lounge area. Safe in the wardrobe, bins changed daily and beds changed once while we were there, little soaps provided. The bathroom shower curtain could do with being a bit longer , ( shower in bath) but we managed fine. The pool in our opinion is the best in lassi, absolutely beautiful, the pool bar provides snacks , and breakfast lunch and dinner , Greek salad was delicious, and the staff were all friendly and welcoming. We loved it here and will definitely be returning next year. Thankyou liberatos.

Liberatos Village is in a beautiful location (as you can see from the photos) - it is up a hill (good exercise) and the views are amazing. We could watch the sunset from our balcony. The grounds are well kept and the pool is lovely. The beach bar is useful and the staff are good. We breakfasted there some mornings for the view but you will get a better breakfast with more choice and better value for money at Mel's on the main street. Our room was very basic even for Greek standards. The bed had a small shelf on either side. The dressing table was a shelf with a mirror above and a stool. The wardrobe was a rail with a shelf top and bottom. No drawers. We had a safe and a fridge. There was also a kettle and mugs with some coffee and tea bags. These were not replenished so take your own. The shower was very small. Our room was not cleaned during our stay (we made our own bed - which is ok, that happens at home!) The bathroom bin was emptied daily and the towels and sheets changed every 3 days (the bed was made then). There was no hairdryer so take your own. We stayed in a Standard Room so it may be better to book a more expensive one. All in all I think we got what we paid for and would recommend the hotel - but would advise booking a better room.

Arrived late at night, was shown to the room, I was emailed 3 days before arrival that the room I had originally booked was no longer available, but they had an even better room for me. On entering the room, I just laughed, it looked like it had been cleared out, just a bed and a very old fridge, no storage for clothes, other than a shelf and a clothes rail with 6 hangers , there was 2 pipes poking up through the floor, like a sink should've been fitted at some point, there was electric cable/trunking hanging off a wall, the air conditioning sounded like a cement mixer (slight exaggeration) and leaked water onto an emergency exit light, also faulty wiring behind the headboard of the bed, as everytime I leant against the headboard, a light would come on in the room or would flicker. The bathroom was tiny, and as for the shower, it blocked up everytime it was used, and had a disgusting shower curtain with lots of black mould all over it. I was given 2 toilet rolls to last me a week, the sheets were not changed all week, even tho I was told the cleaner had changed them, but when I explained they hadn't been changed, because there is a mark on them, I was just given a blank expression. The cleaner had also not cleaned the room, as there was sand on the floor and long black hair, which I haven't got. Me personally, I would not stay here again, as there are a lot nicer hotels and apartments that are a lot closer to the beach, restaurants etc

LV offered us very basic, no-frills accommodation at a decent price. The landscaping and buildings were nice and the pool and bar were clean and well-operated. Our actual “apartment” was not nice. There was a twin bed in the kitchen (no headboard, no linens, no pillow). The bedroom had a full-size bed with linens and two pillows, but no blanket, just sheets. The shower and toilet worked fine, but there was no shampoo or any other amentities. No hair dryer. There was a small refrigerator and a toaster oven with a couple of burners attached. We had rented a car, so we could get into the little town (about a five minute drive) and there were several nice tavernas and bars, as well as a nice beach about ten minutes away. It was an adequate accommodation, but don’t expect charm.

Swimming pool area looks amazing but has been painted with poor quality paint which left marks on our bathing suits. Accommodation is very average with small bathroom/ toilet with the smallest shower which had a curtain and was unsafe ( slippery ). Room service once in five days and no towel change. No pool towels and no breakfast included. No washing or ironing services. Very basic for what we paid. Up very high so walking back from beach not really an option so if you don’t have a car you’ll need $$ for lots of cab fairs . Staff very young and inexperienced as far as helping with how to get to place. You are on your own. Very lovely to look at but that’s about it.

Liberatos Village has so nearly got it right! Staff were fantastic, pool and area around it was amazing. The apartment itself was fine but a couple of tweaks would have made it really good. The bed was comfortable for us and the sheets spotlessly clean and regularly changed. Housekeeping every day. Shower was great, no issues with pressure or hot water. We were in I block so the furthest away from reception, there is a hill to climb to it but it is very manageable and soon felt like nothing ( we are 57 and 71 years old). The apartment felt tired , handles coming off when you opened the doors. Our biggest ‘gripe’ is that it is advertised as self catering but the equipment there made it very hard to self cater. Two tea, spoons and four of everything else. These were not clean when we arrived hence a three star for cleanliness. There was no equipment to wash up with - no cloth, washing up liquid etc- come on guys it doesn’t take much to provide those basics. The ‘sofa’ is a day bed, comfy enough to sit on but the cover is just a sheet so if someone was using it as a bed it would be very unpleasant for them. The balcony was a good size. A parasol would have been helpful as it was too hot to sit outside at times. All that being said the complex was quiet and felt safe. The pool area was great, clean, great bar area with reasonably priced tasty food. Not sure what’s in the advertised mini market as didn’t use it. Walk from road to complex took us only 10 minutes and no issues.
