I went for 1 week, the 2nd week in May. I accidentally booked 1 day too long and they wouldn’t be flexible or allow me a refund. So double check and triple check your dates! The rooms are big and spacious and so are the balconies with a big drying rack to dry your clothes. The heating and air con and fridge all work well. Unfortunately when I arrived the shower floor was dirty. The shower was very small which makes it almost impossible to shave your legs and the curtain didn’t help to keep the water in the shower very well meaning it was all over the bathroom floor which wouldn’t be a problem if it was clean or drained away but the water just collected next to the drain which meant you’d have wet dirty feet if you used the sink after. It’s also not very well ventilated. Around the sealing there’s the start of some black mold probably from this. Had to put my shoes on to use the bathroom. The cleaner comes in everyday and mopped up the water and empties the bins. They don’t sweep the sand off the floor or clean the shower floor or toilet/ sink which really needed done. or make your bed or anything else apart from after 3 days when they change your towels and sheets. Other than that it was a good stay. The pool was never busy I was often the only person in it. The drinks from the bar were nice. And it’s located in a great place just an 10min taxi ride into Argostoli which only costs €8 and they come in 5 minutes. It is walkable to get to the beach on the way there about 15-20mins. But I’d recommend you get a taxi on the way back as it’s located on a big steep hill.

Stayed self catering first impression beautiful gardens and excellent pool area then we got to our room stayed in L block on the ground floor a one bedroom apartment. Space wise for 2 of us was great but it seemed dirty. The Kitchen was very limited with no essentials ie cloths supplied. The cooker was a mini stand alone with 3 rings it was disgusting not being cleaned at all. The bathroom was awful dirty toilet, dirty shower curtains and dirty taps. The bedroom was ok wardrobes are above the bedside cabinet which I struggled with hanging my clothes. The patio doors had a poor lock and strangers walked up and down the field outside. There were open pipes in every room not sure what they were for!! Good air conditioning and a safe provided. The staff at the pool bar during the day were miserable for the first week but did eventually smile during our second week. Wasps were a nightmare by the pool could not eat there many guests got stung. Location on a steep hill - no shuttle transport so you have to walk down or get a taxi at a cost of €8. Had an ok holiday but probably not go back.

Nice big pool, spacious, however our rooms were infront of an orchard and the wasps made it impossible to use our balcony. Also the self catering apartments both lacked a saucepan we asked at reception for one so we could cook but were told NO!!!. Also back doors didn't lock told to use shutters which the lock fell out of whenever you tried to lock it. Hinge broken on kitchen shutters which therefore wouldn't close, shower leaked all over bathroom floor, mouldy ceiling in bathroom, blg long black hairs left in sink n shower and yellow water in loo brush.

Good: Clean rooms towels and sheets Pool just perfect with luxury beds very comfy 20 min walk down large hill doable but not if you have any injuries Stunning views Air conditioning was lovely Bad: Rooms are very dated rusty taps chipped tiles and mirrors and flaking paint Shower was not big enough to stand in Bar and food prices were VERY overpriced no one ate or drank there which is a shame as it would of been lovely to have a lunch or evening meal Staff looked bored all the time Tui who we booked with were awful. They were non responsive and would not use them again We would not stay here again unless they update rooms and cheer the staff up Lassi is beautiful been coming for 12 years stayed all over

Great place! The GPS point that Google shows is not accurate so do a little more due diligence to locate so you don't end up walking up and down the hills.

We stayed here for a week in a studio which was clean and spacious. Bathroom was a little grubby with shower so high up I could nearly reach. Always hot water available. The pool area is what drew me to book. The views are magnificent, the pool is lovely, the sunbeds are the comfortable but again a little grubby. What let's the property down the most is the prices of drinks and food around the bar. 7 euros for a small beer, 3.50 for a can of pop. 5.00 for a coffee. Because youre so high up there is no other choice but to pay these prices. We spent a few nights in Argostoli which is beautiful, only 8 euros to get there. As opposed to the 8 euros to bring you from the bottom of the hill to the liberatos with takes around 30 seconds. Overall a lovely week, but wouldn't return

Liberatos Village Hotel has the potential to be brilliant but it falls way short. I’ll start with the good bits. The hotel’s perched at the top of a steep hill, so yes, it’s a bit of a slog to get to, but you’re rewarded with cracking panoramic views from the pool and some of the rooms. There’s a nice breeze up there too, which is a godsend in the July/August heat. The pool area is a real highlight, big, deep (2.2m), clean, with large, comfy loungers, but could do with a clean they are a bit grubby. The bar’s well stocked, food’s decent (though slightly more expensive than down in the resort, as you’d expect), and the staff are generally friendly and polite especially the bar staff and receptionists. The outdoor areas are lovely too, loads of greenery, flowers, fruit trees and the odd palm tree. But that’s where the positives end…. The inside of the self-catering rooms is where the whole thing unravels. We booked through TUI and were led to believe it was 3T (3-star) accommodation, inside the rooms it’s more like 1-star at best. The cooking facilities looked like they’d been dragged out of a skip, rusty and ours was held together with tape, with loose wires hanging out, this one was eventually replaced. The hob was filthy, the kitchen tap sprayed water halfway into the living space, and the bathroom tap wouldn’t turn off. The air con started leaking by day two. In our other room were met with blood stains and snot on the pillow on arrival, not exactly the welcome I expect from a TUI package holiday. We had two rooms, both had problems. After raising a complaint and being told no other rooms available, we were offered a “more basic” room (worrying) from the hotel owner or the chance to switch hotels at an extra £1500 for 4 days from TUI. Repairs were eventually done to the tap and replacement pillow but only done after we raised them with TUI customer services who got onto the owner. Even then, things like mould on the ceiling and a grim, stained shower curtain remained. What really soured it was the attitude of the so-called manager with an “American” accent, rude to my missus and dismissive, even accused us of exaggerating. If they ripped out the rooms and gave them a proper refurb, this place could be class. But as it stands, great on the outside but a proper horror show on the inside. Wouldn’t return or recommend anyone to stay here. I’ve told TUI to either reduce the rating to a 2T or remove the self catering option as it’s totally misleading showcasing this as a 3T. Lassi however we never had a bad meal out! Great little resort with some fantastic beaches.

L Typical basic Greek accommodation. Very clean and included air-con. Some of the accommodation is a bit of a walk away from the pool area and the complex is a bit of a slog up a long hill from the main strip in Lassi. We had car so not a problem and noticed quite a few people getting taxis up to it rathervthan walk. Pool area good with plenty of sunbeds available and not too busy, mainly families and couples. Only real downside was the pool bar prices; 7 euros a beer is 50-60% more than the all the tavernas and other poolside bars that we visited during our stay.

Apartments were traditional basic Greek, as we expected. But we’re clean and perfectly adequate for what we wanted. The pool and loungers were wonderful - a real key attraction. Not too busy and easily got a longer even in the middle of August. At the pool bar, the food and service was great. Only minor comments are that the bar could be pricey - certainly not somewhere you would want to purchase from all day. But we knew this from other reviews. Also, it is up a big hill. But it is manageable if you are of reasonable fitness, but you wouldn’t want to do it multiple times a day, particularly with kids. So just plan for it!! Taxis were about 7 euros. All in all a wonderful holiday! Thanks!
