Lassi Hotel
"Been to this hotel before and loved it all the staff are very friendly really nice people . A very relaxing hotel with a really nice pool side . Rooms are clean and tidy Breakfast very good always enjoy . Me and the wife love our cats so for us its the best hotel there so well looked after which completes our holiday . My only comment to non cat people would be that you are visiting there home where they happily live so if that does not suit you sod off elsewhere ."
Aenos Hotel
"The selling features of this hotel is first and foremost its location, followed by its outward appearance. Beyond that , the rooms are tiny and hot with no effective air conditioning , surprisingly dirty and a night desk clerk that is rude, inefficient and should be fired. The restaurant staff are lovely but the food is average"
Princess Hotel
"Stunning location so close to the beach. The hotel itself was so cosy, we were well looked after by every member of staff. Our rooms were cleaned perfectly everyday, and the room itself was perfect. Super cosy, easy to change the room temperature and we had no issues with noise at night. The hotel breakfast, then pool side bar during the day was divine. amazing selection of food for very reasonable pricing."
Alley Boutique Hotel and Spa
"Lovely hotel. Great location. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Will definately use again."
Thalassa Boutique Hotel - Adults Only
"Beautiful hotel in a very scenic location. The facilities are excellent and so was the breakfast. Very friendly staff as well."
Topos Suites
"This place was perfect in every way possible. From the beach towels, down to the soft slippers. Everything was amazing quality, including the bathroom amenities. Katerina & Spyros were available if you ever needed anything. Full kitchen amenities, and cold still & sparkling water waiting for you on arrival. Walking distance to restaurants, with a nice view of the sunset."
Kefalonia Grand
"Nice staff in perfect location. Very good brakfast. Position very nice."
Casaly Hotel & Spa
"We had the best time ever at the Casaly Hotel. We cannot possibly do the excellence of this establishment justice in a single review. From the moment we checked in to the moment we left everything was superb. The reception staff (special mention for Martine, Katerina and Erica 🤗) are so helpful with advice on where to go. We had a car for the duration of our stay and they took so much time to explain where things were on the map and the best places to eat. The WhatsApp service is brilliant, I'd highly recommend you use this if you go. We were Bed & Breakfast. The service provided by Irene and Dimitri at breakfast is simply superb, they are so helpful, friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed chatting with them every morning. For our day trips we were given clean towels to take and loaned a beach umbrella. My wife had a massage at the spa and said it was amazing, the therapist was so good. The location of the hotel is very good. Right on the front at Argostolli so close to everything but far enough away to be peaceful. There's specific parking right next to the hotel for guests and the porters are really helpful in assisting you to ensure you part safely. When we come to Kefalonia again (and we definitely will be!!) we will stay at The Casaly for certain - it is just outstanding!!! Thanks to all the staff at the hotel for making out stay so memorable ♥️"
Panorama Fanari Studios and Apartments
"We've just returned from our Kefalonia holiday. We stayed at Panorama Fanari and had a brilliant time. The place is located in a pleasant remote area away from any hustle and bustle. The room we had, had a balcony at each end so we could get the sunrise and sunset. Also if we opened both sets of sliding doors we could get a pleasant airflow through the room. The room itself, was spacious and had everything we needed. It also had a small kitchenette with helpful items left in the cupboards. The shower room was a bit small but adequate and had a decent walk in shower with a sliding door. The main balcony view was superb with the hotel gardens immediate, over the road and down the hill was land with olive trees. We could see the whole area across to the sea and nearby lighthouse in the distance. The best bit was the view across the bay where all the ferries were constantly crossing and the odd cruise ship passing through. The sunset view every evening was the best I've experienced anywhere. The carpark had plenty of spaces and many in the shade. I noticed an electrical charging point. The pool area was lovely with plenty of sunbeds and a pleasant shower area. There was also a bar and seating area nearby which was staffed during daylight hours. The breakfast buffet was continental with plenty of variety. The staff were all friendly, helpful and spoke English. If there was anything we needed, they obliged. Also they were able to assist with car hire with a car arriving in the car park shortly after we enquired. The grounds were well kept and pleasant to walk around. There was a patio area with a large garden table and chairs and two comfortable swing seats in the shade of a large pear tree. We could have sat here all day watching the bay and all the bees and butterflies on the surrounding plants. There were several friendly cats who came to see us when we were walking in the grounds. The location was a little remote but not overly so. There are a few cove beaches within walking distance and the campsite Taverna. Argostoli was a pleasant 3km walk one way but shorter if you walk to the top of the hill, past the Italian memorial and down the other side. With a car you can get to Argostoli or Lassi in a few minutes. We had a lovely stay from not quite knowing what to expect on arrival. "

The Twelve Suites Collection
"Unbelievable! A real treat! Super new and updated. We got that apartment experience for sure. Close to everything! Plenty of parking! Unbelievable view! Athena at the front desk was an angel. She treated us like family and is very knowledgeable! Bravo! "
Rouchotas Apartments
"Fantastic experience. With friendly and available owner.Structure in the centre of Argostoli, in front of the bus stop, on the ferry stairway to go to Lixouri and free public parking. At our arrival we found 2 small bottles of water in the refrigerator, something for the first breakfast of the next day (although it was not included for us) , washing detergent for dishes, a bathroom bottle and a toothpaste for my little daughter. It also presents the washing machine. I change the bleeding every day. If I have to find a negative thing, the tent in the shower is uncomfortable. I absolutely recommend it"
Liberatos Village
"Liberatos Village Hotel has the potential to be brilliant but it falls way short. I’ll start with the good bits. The hotel’s perched at the top of a steep hill, so yes, it’s a bit of a slog to get to, but you’re rewarded with cracking panoramic views from the pool and some of the rooms. There’s a nice breeze up there too, which is a godsend in the July/August heat. The pool area is a real highlight, big, deep (2.2m), clean, with large, comfy loungers, but could do with a clean they are a bit grubby. The bar’s well stocked, food’s decent (though slightly more expensive than down in the resort, as you’d expect), and the staff are generally friendly and polite especially the bar staff and receptionists. The outdoor areas are lovely too, loads of greenery, flowers, fruit trees and the odd palm tree. But that’s where the positives end…. The inside of the self-catering rooms is where the whole thing unravels. We booked through TUI and were led to believe it was 3T (3-star) accommodation, inside the rooms it’s more like 1-star at best. The cooking facilities looked like they’d been dragged out of a skip, rusty and ours was held together with tape, with loose wires hanging out, this one was eventually replaced. The hob was filthy, the kitchen tap sprayed water halfway into the living space, and the bathroom tap wouldn’t turn off. The air con started leaking by day two. In our other room were met with blood stains and snot on the pillow on arrival, not exactly the welcome I expect from a TUI package holiday. We had two rooms, both had problems. After raising a complaint and being told no other rooms available, we were offered a “more basic” room (worrying) from the hotel owner or the chance to switch hotels at an extra £1500 for 4 days from TUI. Repairs were eventually done to the tap and replacement pillow but only done after we raised them with TUI customer services who got onto the owner. Even then, things like mould on the ceiling and a grim, stained shower curtain remained. What really soured it was the attitude of the so-called manager with an “American” accent, rude to my missus and dismissive, even accused us of exaggerating. If they ripped out the rooms and gave them a proper refurb, this place could be class. But as it stands, great on the outside but a proper horror show on the inside. Wouldn’t return or recommend anyone to stay here. I’ve told TUI to either reduce the rating to a 2T or remove the self catering option as it’s totally misleading showcasing this as a 3T. Lassi however we never had a bad meal out! Great little resort with some fantastic beaches."
Argostoli Essence Suites
"We stayed for 3 nights after having to move from our previous accommodation in Lassi . The staff are all very helpful. Our room was on the ground floor and was very spacious even if a little dark, with Molton Brown shower facilities. The breakfast area was outside and not very big hence the reason you have to pre-order the night before, also the time you would like it. Most of the tables were in the sun, unless you were lucky to get 2 of the tables that were in the shade , and in June when we were there it did get a bit too hot and butter was melting before we could use it ! There was nowhere inside to have breakfast which we would have preferred. The pool was a square large bath, in the shade , you could just cool down in it , but not for swimming , which we didn’t use. The hotel would be ok to use as a base for exploring Kefalonia if you have not been to the island before and possibly only for a short break."
King A
"Great little Boutique Hotel just off the centre of Argostoli overlooking the rowing club by the harbour. We spent one night in Argostoli, and this little Hotel was perfect. We had a harbour view room which was lovely and had everything we needed, the side rooms have the benefit of afternoon/evening sunshine on their balconies. We were not expecting great things for breakfast, but the offering was amazing: fresh orange juice, Greek yogurt with honey, apple, granola, raspberry compote, followed by fresh bread and croissants and a choice of eggs. I’m sure other reviewers will mention breakfast! If you are looking for a clean, hospitable, friendly little bolthole in Argostoli this is perfect. We will return!"
Kappatos Studios & Apartments
"Very good, friendly family very welcoming :)"
Liostasi Retreat
"Liostasi Retreat I want to mention from the start that this was our third consecutive year visiting this wonderful island, but it was our first time choosing the capital, Argostoli. We spent 9 wonderful days at Liostasi with my wife and our two children. We booked the apartment back in January, as it seemed ideal for us: 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a large hallway with a fully equipped open-space kitchen, and an enormous balcony. The retreat’s rooms are named after famous beaches on the island, and ours was named Myrtos. The rooms are very beautiful, cleaning is done daily with great care, and our hosts were constantly attentive to anything that could improve the guests’ stay. From the very first day, we were warmly welcomed by our hosts, Giannis and Vassiliky. The location is very close to the airport, about a 20-minute drive, and also very near the lively city center, approximately a 10-minute walk to the first shopping stores and the impressive waterfront. Although we initially thought we knew the island well, our host provided us with a map and circled a multitude of new places worth visiting and exploring. Back to Liostasi. We wanted accommodation with breakfast included from the start, and we didn’t regret it at all. The breakfast was hearty, healthy, and typically Mediterranean, including, among other things: fresh fruits, Greek yogurt, honey, cereals, coffee, chocolate pastries, delicious bread, various jams, cheese, orange juice, and other items that, honestly, you can probably see in the photos. There’s also the option to have dinner here, but unfortunately, I can’t provide details since we didn’t have time for it. We would return late in the evening from the city, spend some time on the balcony terrace, and plan the next day. We felt amazing, the kids were thrilled with all the amenities provided by our hosts, and we left reluctantly but promised to return with joy to these wonderful and welcoming people. George, Mirabela, Dave, and Rareș"
