Alley Boutique Hotel and Spa ★★★★
"For the price, it could have been better. Cleanliness could have been improved, and the breakfast left much to be desired."
Thalassa Boutique Hotel - Adults Only ★★★★
"Beautiful hotel in a very scenic location. The facilities are excellent and so was the breakfast. Very friendly staff as well."
Mirabel CityCenter Hotel ★★
"Great hotel great location. On the square of local restaurants and bars but not noisy. Staff are so lovely. Rooms are in excellent condition and kept spotlessly clean. Couldn't fault a thing. Breakfast was amazing Rosa the breakfast queen was so happy and sociable. Can't wait to go back there."
Liberatos Village ★★★
"Liberatos Village Hotel has the potential to be brilliant but it falls way short. I’ll start with the good bits. The hotel’s perched at the top of a steep hill, so yes, it’s a bit of a slog to get to, but you’re rewarded with cracking panoramic views from the pool and some of the rooms. There’s a nice breeze up there too, which is a godsend in the July/August heat. The pool area is a real highlight, big, deep (2.2m), clean, with large, comfy loungers, but could do with a clean they are a bit grubby. The bar’s well stocked, food’s decent (though slightly more expensive than down in the resort, as you’d expect), and the staff are generally friendly and polite especially the bar staff and receptionists. The outdoor areas are lovely too, loads of greenery, flowers, fruit trees and the odd palm tree. But that’s where the positives end…. The inside of the self-catering rooms is where the whole thing unravels. We booked through TUI and were led to believe it was 3T (3-star) accommodation, inside the rooms it’s more like 1-star at best. The cooking facilities looked like they’d been dragged out of a skip, rusty and ours was held together with tape, with loose wires hanging out, this one was eventually replaced. The hob was filthy, the kitchen tap sprayed water halfway into the living space, and the bathroom tap wouldn’t turn off. The air con started leaking by day two. In our other room were met with blood stains and snot on the pillow on arrival, not exactly the welcome I expect from a TUI package holiday. We had two rooms, both had problems. After raising a complaint and being told no other rooms available, we were offered a “more basic” room (worrying) from the hotel owner or the chance to switch hotels at an extra £1500 for 4 days from TUI. Repairs were eventually done to the tap and replacement pillow but only done after we raised them with TUI customer services who got onto the owner. Even then, things like mould on the ceiling and a grim, stained shower curtain remained. What really soured it was the attitude of the so-called manager with an “American” accent, rude to my missus and dismissive, even accused us of exaggerating. If they ripped out the rooms and gave them a proper refurb, this place could be class. But as it stands, great on the outside but a proper horror show on the inside. Wouldn’t return or recommend anyone to stay here. I’ve told TUI to either reduce the rating to a 2T or remove the self catering option as it’s totally misleading showcasing this as a 3T. Lassi however we never had a bad meal out! Great little resort with some fantastic beaches."
Anthemis Living ★★★★
"We highly recommend this apartment hotel. We stayed for five nights and enjoyed every moment. Nikos, the owner, was a wonderful host—attentive and helpful with everything, always with a smile and goodwill. The place itself is fairly new and modern, beautifully furnished, and most importantly - Highly recomvery clean and well-maintained. The unit was cleaned daily, and fresh towels were provided. It was clear that great attention was given to every detail to make the stay pleasant and indulgent. We’d be happy to come back again!"
Kefalonia Grand ★★★★
"Nice staff in perfect location. Very good brakfast. Position very nice."
Aenos Hotel ★★★★
"The selling features of this hotel is first and foremost its location, followed by its outward appearance. Beyond that , the rooms are tiny and hot with no effective air conditioning , surprisingly dirty and a night desk clerk that is rude, inefficient and should be fired. The restaurant staff are lovely but the food is average"
Mirabel City Center Hotel
Mouikis Hotel Kefalonia ★★★
"The hotel has a great location, not far from the beach, and plenty of restaurants nearby. There's a small supermarket to the right of the hotel entrance where you can buy yogurt and other similar items. Behind the hotel is a commercial street where you can shop, but the shop owners are quite casual, and some close very early. The room has a small balcony, not too big or too small. The only drawback is the poorly designed bathroom; the shower is too small, and the toilet paper isn't even next to the toilet! You can arrange airport or ferry pick-up through the hotel on Ctrip, but this will incur an additional fee."

Casaly Hotel & Spa
"Fabulous hotel close to town centre and overlooking the bay with outstanding hospitality. Great layout and facilities - pool, gym, spa, etc. Staff - Katerina, Costas, Angeline and all their colleagues - helped to make it a special experience. Loved the breakfasts which catered for all tastes. Highly recommended!"
Argostoli Essence Suites
"Absolutely first rate hotel. Exceptional staff Dimitris snd Tina and all the support staff too. Fantastic breakfast, clean rooms and wonderful service. Can’t recommend more highly."
G Boutique Hotel Kefalonia
"From the moment we arrived at G Boutique Hotel Kefalonia, we were absolutely wowed. The hotel is spotless—every inch gleams with modern luxury. Our room was pure elegance, featuring chic gold accents and gorgeous high-gloss marble floors that made it feel like we were staying in a dream. The location is ideal: just a pleasant 15-minute stroll along the waterfront into the center of town, with views that make the walk part of the holiday experience. The pool is perfection—sparkling clean, with a temperature that’s just right for a refreshing dip. The sunbeds are next-level luxury: large, firm, and irresistibly comfortable, perfect for an afternoon of relaxation. Housekeeping is simply outstanding. They go above and beyond, even mopping the floors daily so everything stays fresh and immaculate throughout your stay. Breakfast is the one area that could be enhanced—while there are pastries, toast, fruit, and yogurt, the selection is modest compared to the exceptional standard set by the rest of the hotel. In short: G Boutique Hotel is the definition of stylish, serene, and superbly maintained. We can’t recommend it highly enough and can’t wait to return!"
Dionysos Village Resort
"Great views and very clean complex, breakfast very good and plenty of choice enough to keep you going until lunch, plenty of sunbeds so no need to rush to put towels down, only problem is the pool bar the barman during day is useless seems to charge what he likes a different price for same drinks on three occasions when challenged denied charging for cheapest then in the evening barman again charged a different price(cheapest price mind you )the hill isn’t as bad as some make out a ten minute walk down and a good 15 mile minute walk back or €8 for a taxi"
Rouchotas Apartments
"Amazinggg stay! Rooms were lovely and we had a huge balcony overlooking argosotli which was great. Breakfast was a highlight with numerous options to choose from and all delicious and severed at preferred times. Would stay again and highly recommend!"
King A
"This place is an absolute gem! Clean rooms, lovely location overlooking the harbour, staff are super friendly & helpful. The owners are lovely and met us upon arrival, nothing was too much trouble for them and we can't wait to come back for longer next time."
Hotel Aggelos Kefalonia
"We had a brilliant 7 day stay at Aggelos Hotel, Kefalonia. Our room was the lovely 301 with its large balcony overlooking the water. From it we loved watching the boats and the world go by and it was especially entertaining on cruise ship days when we watched passengers walking by, having disembarked from their ship or rushing to embark at the end of their trip. The room, serviced every day was scrupulously clean, as was the rest of the hotel. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts; Greek yogurt and fresh fruit, breads, pastries sweet and savoury, eggs, bacon, cold meats, cheese, cereals, cakes which we ate on the terrace every day, enjoying the sunshine. All the hotel staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly at all times. Aggelos Hotel was in a great location, a short walk along the front from the main harbour, towards the cruise ship terminal, more peaceful than being in the centre of the town. It was perfect from which to wander in lovely Argestoli with its many tavernas and restaurants. A short distance away was the ferry terminal for Lixouri, just a 20 minute journey away, and well worth doing. We watched the ferry going past every half hour from our balcony. Buses go frequently to Lassi and its beaches, as short distance away. For a 7 day trip it was worthwhile hiring a car, as well as getting to and from the airport, where we picked up from Pefanis car hire, we spent a day in the north of the island and a day in the south. the rest of the time we walked in and around Argostoli and made the most of our balcony chilling out. Aggelos Hotel was great find, we would love to return and I have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone. Thank you so much, Agellos Hotel! "
The Twelve Suites Collection
"We have just returned from a 3 centre holiday to Kefalonia. Our first stop was Argostoli for a 3 night stay and The Twelve Suites certainly didn’t disappoint. Great check in and lots of advice on where to visit and recommendations for restaurants etc. The 2 bedroom suite was beautiful , clean and so spacious. Everything was absolutely spotless. Lovely welcome hamper and fresh fruit. Cleaning service every day. Nothing was too much trouble. The location was perfect with many restaurants, bars and coffee shops just on the doorstep and within easy walking distance. Free parking available just opposite the apartments. We would certainly recommend The Twelve Suites and would stay there again. We’ve already recommended it to lots of people. The photos on the website look beautiful but it’s even better in real life….its a credit to you all and the hard work that you’ve put into it to get it to this standard. Best apartments we’ve stayed in."
Kappatos Studios & Apartments
"Very good, friendly family very welcoming :)"
Liostasi Retreat
"We loved our 1 night stay on our first night in Kefalonia. I chose the apartment due to the views and wasn’t disappointed. We expected that we would walk down into Argostoli town for dinner but decided to eat at the onsite restaurant and we were so glad we did as the food was superb. We particularly loved the ceviche and the burrata and peach salad. Definitely recommend. Breakfast on the terrace the following morning was lovely too. Would definitely come again and would love to stay longer"
