The hotel is very beautiful and elegant; it is located in Castel Gandolfo and enjoys a great view of the lake Albano, so it is very quiet. The rooms are large and comfortable; even if they have some details to review. Breakfast is absolutely high; it has a wide range of high quality sweet and salty products. The staff is friendly and available. Parking is very comfortable. The hotel is excellent because it is a few minutes' walk from the centre of Castel Gandolfo.

Worst hotel ever! We traveled with EF tours as a large group, everyone in our group was in the same building except me and my grandson. I have never felt so unsafe in a hotel in my life. I do not need the best amenities but I do need to feel safe. Our key to our room was a normal house key, the beds were hard a rocks and the shower was built for small people. When we ran the water in the shower or sink the toilet bubbled and the entire room smelled like poo- the room was dirty. A friend traveling with the group had blood spots on her sheets and when she asked the front desk for fresh sheets she was told no. I got no sleep in this hotel because there were men outside my door all night having a party, you can not call front desk from your room so the only option I had to complain was to go out where they were to walk to the front desk, so I pushed all the furniture i could against the door and prayed for morning to come. If you are traveling and this hotel is on your list of places to stay call EF and demand they change it, have everyone in your group call and complain as well. i felt like I was in a horror movie. And the pictures they show are no where near what it actually is.

We had a fabulous stay in this authentic beautiful hotel. I loved the linen sheets and the towels were lovely and plush. The rooms are very comfortable and the mosaic bathroom tiles are exquisite. The food in the tavern was excellent. Breakfast was lovely once it was understood what we wanted each day. A couple of negatives ... We had to ask for a chair so that my husband could sit at the desk to use his laptop. The pillows were all flat . An assortment of pillows on a meu would have been preferable . There was a rain shower which is good for hair washing days. I prefer a shower coming from the wall , however, this one was attached half way down the wall. It would have been perfect if it had been attached further up so you could stand under it. Even though the bath looked aesthetically pleasing I did not find it practical to climb in and out. Especially with mobility issues. These issues did not detract us from having a lovely stay. This hotel is absolutely worth considering. Thank you for a wonderful time.

It's more 3.5 than 3 but you can't give half a vote and I think it's right to encourage something to improve. The place is fantastic, quiet and suggestive....good maintenance on the outside, nice clean rooms and good breakfast.....up to this point we would have a well-deserved 5 stars, unfortunately there are too many details that bring the rating down. First of all the maintenance of the room: the walls had many signs of dirt and would need to be repainted, but what is worse is seeing some parts peeling from the damp, re-plastered and not painted. The bathroom is a bit small, but what's worse is the shower: too small and above all with the box to be changed and the wall all moldy. Furthermore, both the water and the temperature of the room were too extreme (lukewarm water and a cold room when we arrived which never managed to heat up completely), plus the noisy air conditioner which we were forced to turn off at night. I wish this was a constructive criticism, because the place deserves 5 stars!!! So I would recommend an extra maintenance effort and you will have a fabulous place. Given the location we still relaxed, even if without a shower :-)

A relative of mine pointed out this hotel (not visible from the highway) and this past summer I stayed here on two different occasions where I had to pick up someone at the airport and in Rome. The hotel features modern rooms with high ceilings and all the normal amenities (including free parking) with a comfortable bed. I chose the option that does not include breakfast. The staff is friendly and the price for the stay is reasonable.

Unfortunately my friend chose this because it was close to our airport. But I implore you to look elsewhere as you will find much better places to stay. You will find no food in this hotel. Nor did I see a vending machine. Breakfast is it. And a tiny bar can give you a basic drink or tiny water. The room is basic but was clean. We each got one small lumpy pillow so I needed to ask for more. The shower had seen better days with stained and dirty grout and a shower head that constantly fell down. And the cleaning left much to be desired with long hairs found everywhere. There is a restaurant next door but give it a big miss as the staff are rude and the service and food is horrific. I stayed in this hotel from 13-15th May. A new and comfortable hotel with friendly staff. On the early morning of 15/5, I found that my eyes seemed to have inflammation and the condition was deteriorating rapidly. I went downstairs around 5am to the reception and met a gentleman wearing glasses ( I recalled his name was Ricardo but my spelling was probably incorrect as I did not know italian language. My sincere apology to him first) He was aware of my conditions but said that there was no on-site doctor available at the moment. He told me that if I considered my condition serious, he could call an ambulance for me. As I have to check out at 0745 hours going to Florence, I immediately requested Ricardo to call an ambulance for me. The ambulance arrived very soon. After examination, the paramedics were satisfied that my condition was emergency and sent me to the nearby Policlinico Universitario Campus Bio-Medico where I received swift and professional treatment led by Dr Bucci Chiara. I was discharged shortly after 7am and returned to my tour group to carry on my visit before 8am. Dr Bucci Chiara was so kind to guide me where to take the Uber. In this matter, I deeply appreciated all involved including Ricardo, who asked my wife about my conditions before going off duty, the two ambulance paramedics, Dr Bucci Chiara and her medical/nursing colleagues. They all displayed a high degree of professionalism, dedication and enthusiasm towards their job. I felt that they are all very kind, generous, helpful people. I told other members in my tour group and they also found it amazing. Italy is such a wonderful place. I look forward to visiting Italy again very soon. Thank you to them all.

Hotel location is good, there is free table parking downstairs, quiet at night. The room lighting is very good, the room is small but the whole is clean and tidy, the breakfast is more ordinary but there is a special person to make coffee. Unfortunately, there are not many choices for breakfast.
