Hotels near Yanagi Park, Asahikawa

The location is great with AEON and many restaurants nearby, JR station is also within walking distance. Too bad there's no free parking from the hotel but there's a few choices of paid parking areas around the hotel, the parking area without roof opposite hotel is cheaper than the one in the building. Sleep wear and deodorize spray are provided. Public bath is clean. All the basic amenities are provided. Clean, new and well maintained hotel. Overall happy with my stay here.

The hotel lift provides direct access to Aeon Mall, and hotel reception, the beverage lounge, public bath, coin laundry, are all conveniently located on the same floor, just a short walk away. This makes it very easy and accessible for guests to navigate and utilize these amenities. Nice!

Very convenient location since it is near JR station and shopping district. Driving distance to attractions range from 20 mins to 1 hour. Amenities such as face oil,, toner, cream, tea bags, coffee drops bags, toothpaste and toothbrush are readily available at hotel lobby at no extra charge.

I haven't traveled abroad much, but I think it's a really good hotel. Putting everything else aside, I really like the open-air bath in the large public bath. I went on a snowy day, and as I was soaking in the hot spring water while it was snowing, I felt like my worries were disappearing. There is no need to go to a ryokan. Even if you don't speak Japanese, they respond in English and the staff are all friendly. I stayed warm because I could control the room temperature myself. Breakfast is also good. You can make kaisendon with clams, flounder, salmon, and salmon roe, and there are many other things you can eat. It's a bit far from Asahikawa Station. It was a little difficult to drag the suitcase onto the snow-covered sidewalk on a snowy day. Other than that it was really good. I plan to visit again next time I go to Asahikawa.

I asked the front desk about the parking lot because I got on a car rental. I can see the mechanical parking lot next to it, but I personally don't like it very much. I have a car, but there is no plane parking lot? When I asked, is it back? I was returned by the question that I would stay from now on. It is said that I don't say from the conclusion. I would like to see if it is a user from the front desk. But I just want to check if there is no choice but to put it in a mechanical type. No, but I think it is the correct answer to answer that. When I replied that I was checking in from now on, I was asked to ask my name, and the parking lot was 800 yen per night. I don't care about money, but do you listen? There is no plane parking lot? Ask, and finally answer, no. I spent a waste of time with barren exchange. After checking in, when I go to the public bath, the door does not open even though I do as taught. I tried to stop the peepy and error sound many times, and I tried to stop it. When I made it again * without touching the door during peepy said, the key opened. It was a waste of time. Not only ask what you want to hear, but you can't tell me this important thing. The room is normal, not good or not. Breakfast was normal, so it was negative for front desk response. I won't stay next time.

It's located near the station. The rooms are spacious and the beds are not worn out. The amenities are of the type that you bring to your room before you go to the lobby. Where you want shaving cream. A parking lot is also available.

We had some problems getting to the hotel, as Google maps insisted on pointing us to another deserted building down the street (which also had a sign Takasago onsen). Once we got in, it turned out nobody at the reception spoke any English, luckily one of the other guests who was just checking in volunteered to interpret. It turned out that they wanted to notify us that the AC in our room was broken (it was 35 degrees outside). After refusing to accept that room, they gave us another room with a working AC. The hotel itself is very similar to other big spa hotels we stayed in, reasonably comfortable rooms, big buffet meals, but the quality of the food was so so, but the highlight of the place was the onsen, with about 10 inside pools and a nice outside jacuzzi. I guess that was the big attraction for all the tourist groups.

Location was good. We drove a MPV and had to park in the private carpark wha two minutes walk away. Breakfast was surprisingly good.

I’m very surprised by the relatively low rating of this hotel. We had a very good experience here, and found the room to be spacious and comfortable (though fairly typical old-school Japanese hotel). Service was good overall and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel is located in the best part of Asahikawa, near the main train station and the very cool and fun shopping street. The hotel also has an outdoor parking lot located immediately behind the hotel. Our only hiccup was that we arrived slightly before the 1500 check in time (we arrived at 1440) and were told we had to wait until exactly 1500 to check in. This is Japan and I appreciate being a stickler for the rules, but sometimes good customer service is about making calculated exceptions. Maybe next time. We would certainly recommend this place to others.
