This is a lovely, small, independent hotel with welcoming management. It's a popular place for hikers. Our room was small but very clean and with a comfortable bed. The restaurant is superb with great choices of local cuisine. We would definitely stay here again.

Hotel Trabenia is a home away from home! We travelled here to a family wedding in late July. Arrived from Ireland, New York and Canada. What a wonderful experience. Greg made us incredibly welcome with cappuccinos by day and juniper gin at night. Kids and adults all loved the venue which was just utterly comfortable, with couches to lay around on while we planned our day, basketball hoops and paddles to play outside, terrific on site restaurants and lovely views. We were so sad to leave and look forward to returning! Thanks Greg! A trip never to be forgotten.

This was a great place to stay in our GR10 hike. The management was excellent, as was dinner. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The outside area was great for an after-hike drink. Highly recommended!

Super petit resto, cuisine soignée, jolie présentation fait maison, légumes frais tout était top du début à la fin … bon service bon accueil bonne ambiance on y retournera c’est sûr et je recommande vivement.

Excellent établissement. Chaleureux mais simple, bien décoré. Juste ce qu'il faut pour un passage en randonnée. Dans l'assiette, c'est absolument délicieux. Tout était bon et efficace, une cuisine raffinée tout en état familiale. Franchement belle expérience.

Un délice! Une explosion de saveurs, des bons produits, une belle assiette et le tout dans une ambiance chaleureuse et conviviale. Greg le patron vient personnellement vous accueillir et partage les bons tuyaux de la région, son goût pour la cuisine, sa bonne humeur. Un canapé, une bibliothèque, de la bonne musique et une balançoire vous font sentir comme à la maison, entre le salon et l’extérieur.

Super adresse quand vous êtes dans le coin d’Ascain! Nous avons passé un super moment entre amis, belle tablée, tous les plats étaient exquis! Un service aux petits soins grâce à Greg et son équipe. Le lieu est chaleureux. Je recommande et je reviendrai !

chambre de 8 m2 maxi compris la salle de bain, une chaise pour seul mobilier. Pas de TV et la chambre n'est pas faites malgré un prix de 105.00€ par jour, plus un petit déjeuner à 12.00€ avec du pain mais pas de viennoiserie Le seul point positif une serveuse très professionnelle souriante et au service du client
