Hotel R9 the Yard Ashikagaekinishi

Great concept and ideal for domestic travellers/workers, and tourists who are travelling across the country. As such, it suited my purpose well. Despite being sent and presented with a PIN code, and handing over my passport, the charming lady at reception could not see my name. Once she let me see the paperwork, I spotted my name straight away, a minor bit of fuss. This minimal style hotel, is basically a set of containers, converted into rooms. They have done a fantastic job - everything is clean, set out as you would find in the likes of APA hotels for instance. The location, even with a car was a little bit tricky to find, so I would say, unless you have a car, it might be very tricky. For the price and comfort it was extremely acceptable to me. Nice and neat room. Coin-operated washer/dryer was a great help. Within walking distance to the train stations. Helpful staff!

I was here some yrs ago. Their service was good as ever.

The room is clean and the size is good for couple, but the problem are the wifi is so slow always buffering, You cannot sleep very well because the sounds of the machine of aircon you can hear, you sleep still the sound of aircon machine so loud. highly not recommended very uncomfortable.
