Atami Season Hotel

You can see the Atami fireworks from the room. The location is convenient. There are supermarkets nearby. There is a free pick-up service. The room is large. Recommended!

This is the best hotel on this trip, comfortable and clean. We booked a three-bed room with a private bathroom and watched the fireworks in the room that day, which was spectacular. The breakfast and dinner are served in a buffet restaurant. The taste is okay, there are not many varieties, but the unlimited beer and sake are a win! 

Rich breakfast, good location, but old facilities

It can be seen that the hotel is old, and the facilities are relatively old. Things like door keys, switches, sockets, and toilets look like the standards of domestic 3-star hotels more than ten years ago. Because it's at the beach, there is a damp and musty smell as soon as you enter the room, but there is a purifier in the room. It is no longer easy to book a room on the night of the fireworks display, although the price may be three times higher than usual. The room rate includes one bed and two meals for 2 adults and 1 child. The beds are made for 3 people and toiletries are provided. Both breakfast and dinner are buffets. It should be noted that it is best to make an appointment with the hotel in advance for dinner. We didn't know. When we went to the venue, we were told that the dinner time would only start at 20 o'clock for the second session. Fortunately, our driver sister talked to the front desk about it. The person who said we were going to watch the fireworks live at the beach adjusted us to the first show at 18:30. Although the quality of the buffet is not high, it tastes very good, especially fried shrimp, egg fried rice, and steak. Soft drinks and beer are also available, and the meal time is 70 minutes. After dinner, there are two ways to walk from the hotel to the water park google map. One is through Atami Ginza. There are many people, cars and shops, so walking is slow. If you want to feel the excitement, you can take this way. We chose the path with steps along the Itokawa River. It is not tiring to walk downhill to the beach. It takes about 12 or 3 minutes to reach the water park, which is perfect for watching fireworks. If you don't want to go to the beach, there is also a terrace on the 5th floor of the hotel where you can view it (I saw a sign that day), but it will be somewhat blocked by the building in front. After watching the fireworks and returning to the hotel, you can also go to the large bathhouse on the second floor to take a bath and soak in the hot springs, which is very comfortable. The latest entry time for breakfast the next day is 9 o'clock.

部屋も広く、大浴場もとても気持ちよかったです。荷物が多くなければ、駅までも散歩しながら行けます。ただ、予約内容について、電話確認したにも関わらず、そのような履歴がないと言われました。着信履歴を見せても変わらず、引き継ぎが出来ていないそちらのミスなので、臨機応変に対応してくれても良いのにと思いました。
