Elia Ermou Athens Hotel

A very pleasant hotel. Clean and conveniently located. There are many shops nearby and it's close to the attractions. I walked everywhere with a guide. Instead of a gym, I found a set of dumbbells next to the bed, which was amusing. The windows faced an inner courtyard, and the windows of the building opposite were very close. I couldn't feel comfortable. I had to close the blackout curtains and turn on the lights.

The room size was moderate, and the location was fantastic—within walking distance of major attractions and not too far from the airport shuttle bus stop. However, the road conditions after getting off the bus were poor, which made dragging large suitcases quite a hassle. I booked two rooms, and we were assigned to the 1st floor (what we call the 2nd floor in China) right above the reception and adjacent to the gym. The staff enthusiastically greeted and chatted with every guest working out, which made it quite noisy and quite disappointing. Additionally, there are street-side restaurants right below the hotel that get extremely busy and noisy at night. Although the balcony windows are double-glazed, it is still quite disruptive for light sleepers, so those who mind noise should book with caution. The breakfast was mediocre, mostly cold items, which is probably due to local dining habits.

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the subway and the airport bus. It's incredibly convenient for dining out and visiting attractions.

Right in the city center. Close to everything: Syntagma, the Cathedral, Plaka, etc., with incredible views of the Acropolis…

The breakfast was good, and you could see the Acropolis. Overall, it was okay, but the bathroom had very little space for toiletries and towels, which was inconvenient.
