"A charming little boutique hotel with character The hotel is not new or flashy, but it's very well maintained and clearly cared for. It's tucked away on a quiet side street in Plaka, yet it's easy to find and wonderfully located — just a short walk to Syntagma and all the main sights. The rooms are pretty petite，(especially the lift)but tastefully decorated, clean, and comfortable. Everything feels thoughtful and welcoming. The breakfast is truly the highlight. It's not a huge spread, but everything is fresh, beautifully presented, and clearly prepared with care especially the Greek breakfast. For the price point, it's a standout. If you're looking for a place with charm in a fantastic location — this is a lovely choice."

"For the price of the stay, this is one of the worst properties to choose. There is a lady at the reception who is rude and inhuman. The pool is small and dirty, the washrooms stink. There wasn’t even a kitchen towel but a small kitchen in the room. The stay is far away from everything in the city. The room was clean and spacious but not worth that price, that location and that attitude from front desk."

"The hotel has nice decor, and I appreciate that they offer triple rooms. There's a large supermarket nearby, which is very convenient for shopping. The buffet breakfast is excellent with a great variety of tasty options. However, the safe in my room was broken. I didn't want the hassle of changing rooms, so I just went without using a safe for my entire stay. Also, the shower stall doesn't have a glass door to contain the water, so after showering, the bathroom floor gets completely wet, making it easy to slip. This is a design flaw that I hope the hotel addresses. Otherwise, if a guest slips and gets injured, it could be a big problem."

"We stayed for 3 nights and had the most wonderful time - great service and an exquisite room ( the bed was really comfortable- not too soft, not too hard), with two floor‐to-ceiling windows the room was very light ( 4th floor) and yet always a comfortable temperature thanks to the completely silent air conditioning. Bathroom- beautiful with a really good shower and finally - breakfast was SUPERB! The best! Once again, the staff was always extremely helpful and friendly. We can't recommend Bellén enough!"

"Awful hotel! We booked a room for 3 adults and when we arrived we were given a room with 3 beds and 2 mattress!! One of the bed had blankets and as mattress! Very uncomfortable and dirty! The staff were rude and the cleaners were terrible! Room full of black mould. They tried to charge us 30 euros because they said that we dirtied the towels and they couldn’t get them clean!😳 Avoid at all costs, plenty of lovely hotels in Greece, not this one."

"The location is great, about a five-minute walk from Megaro Moussikis metro station, and two stops from Syntagma Square, which is very convenient. The area is a relatively safe, residential neighborhood. The room is new and clean. Note that if you're staying for two nights, complimentary bottled water is only provided on the first day. The breakfast is plentiful, and the yogurt is especially delicious. However, you'll need a server to come to your table to refill your tea or coffee, so it's best to avoid peak hours to avoid long wait times."
