Cold water for shower. Now I am a believer in the Win Hof method but I choose when I want a cold shower. Ugh. Toilet ran & ran. Hard to get carts on elevator. Toilet bowl lid did not match toilet. Terrible breakfast. Unresponsive staff. You get what you pay for. At least we left our car at home. One good thing was close to Amtrak, King bed & low price.

This place is not really a hotel. It gives off more of a motel vibe. The building is heavily outdated, with crumbling walls and stains. Our room was average. Bed was comfortable and clean. Our room had a little bit of trash in it (candy wrappers, etc). The toilet did not flush for me and there was peeling wall paper in the bathroom. Shower temperature was poor and was only lukewarm at best. I most likely will not stay here again. The facilities need a huge update.

They charge 51 dollars for the parking.

Love location friendly staff. Organised nice part of town . Quiet breakfast was good simple but enough great coffee

The express hotel is old and the facilities are aging, which is expected. This is the second time I checked in. I didn't expect that there was a problem with the hygiene. It feels like a MOTEL located in the city center, with convenient parking and a charge for overnight parking. The hygienic condition of the corridor is not very good, the trash can is overflowing, fortunately we only stayed for one night

This was THE WORST HOTEL I have ever stayed in. Facilities are extremely neglected. There was blood in my first room I was put in and it was extremely dirty as if no cleaning services had been provided from the last few guests. Both beds in room were dirty, there were stains everywhere in the room from curtains, to windowsill to the hallways, to the second room I was put in. The smoke detector was missing in the initial room. In the second room the lights didn’t come on and there were fake nails at he door in the hallway.. As a young woman I feared for my safety and could not stay the 3 nights I paid for because I felt unsafe and that I would be apart of some sex trafficking. The front desk lady wasn’t there after my initial complaint and I stayed my duration of my trip elsewhere. I was told ******* was not able to get my refund for the stay and then later told after they spoke with my parents that they could. I will no longer be using ******* because you all don’t get the properties that are being advertised on your service. ******* is supposed to take the stress out of travel and be easy and this was the worst experience I have ever had.

It has been a very long time since I last saw so many roaches for one night, we had to leave in the middle of the night. Not a safe neighborhood.

Overall the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel itself seemed a bit older and run down. With some trash in the outside hallways. The staff was polite and checked us in promptly. I did not like that we had to pay $35 a night to park. Especially at 2 star hotel.

The room smelled of mildew and seemed to have mold. There was a water stain on the ceiling. Place has definitely gone downhill over the years.

Dated but clean, shower ceiling needed some repair, & corners in bathroom needed resealing. Wall paper seams showing. Overall dated but clean. Hallways smell of ****, but guess what, it’s Austin everywhere smells of **** now. Front desk clerk was super nice. Cheap Uber to downtown where all the good stuff happens, and it really smells like ****. Valet was convenient. If you’re looking for a place to crash after a night of fun this is the place. The money I saved staying here payed for dinner, Uber, and merch at the show we went to. Maybe I got a good room, but this place does not deserve all the negativity.

This is an older property and has its share of older property problems. The room was decently clean. Toilet lid was only secured by one side. The shower never completely turned off.
