Terrible hotel with bad facilities

The place was a bit overly priced for 106 pounds the bathroom tiles were not clean under my bed were toys for children meaning the place wasn't cleaned well before I got there ,the room was extremely cold the heating was not working no one on front office when I went down ,no complimentary toothpaste, brush bath robe slippers ,having worked in hospitality this is not anywhere near 4 stars

Nice room, however there was a lound knocking/pounding noise consistently throughout the night which kept me awake. Doors bang closed. Needs to be updated a bit.

Tired hotel. 3rd stay in 4 months ,booked 2 rooms and moved rooms twice. Needs updating. Only one towel per room apparently company policy. Got extra towel at reception. Breakfast/bar staff good.

Yes it was clean and yes the receptionist and bar staff were friendly, the problems relate to the room.
a) The ground floor is open to Joe public who use the Gym and Pool and there is no system to bar them from entering the floors where the rooms are located.
b) The room was so gloomy, decorated in dark *****ed wallpaper with minimal lighting, coupled with an inoperative a/c unit and inadequate radiator; and a cold towel radiator in the bathroom.
Definitely a room to be morose in!

I like the hotel but this time around the bed was quite uncomfortable due to it being two single beds being pushed together. Also the pillows were very small and not comfortable.
The breakfast this time however was quite nice and I enjoyed it

Not happy with the room ,most rooms have sky tv ,my room didn't, plus no bath ,i love a hot bath after a cold at work ,all the other times I've stopped there was ffine .

Cancelled on the morning - offered the Holiday Inn. A shame stayed there 10 plus times in the past, and referred people there.
Was my choice of Hotel in Swindon - not anymore. Obviously didn’t like the room rate I had got.

Can’t understand why a digital check in ?makes no sense with 2 staff to guide you through it ,however ,room was clean and comfortable,gloomy lighting though and the breakfast was lukewarm on both mornings x pity really because it was well presented and the dining room pleasant .
