Excellent hotel, except for the wifi connection. City has limited dining options on workdays (especially monday and tuesday)

Quaint and charming property with amazing kitchen service from our elegant multi course meal to the extravagant breakfast buffet in morning. Great location in town for strolling along to all of the shops as well as getting to trail heads for hiking up the mountain.

More than a good hotel! We had a 3-day package "Romantik" half board and included a candlelight dinner. And a welcome cocktail (with 4 courses). Pleasant service, cozy bar, good massages, excellent service. We were in the main building. Perfect base for the Burgberg, Goslar and Werningerode (with the steam train to the Brocken, 1142 m high).

Sehr zuvorkommend, schon bei der Buchung. Freundliches Personal, Zimmer im Nachbarhaus "SUPER". Das ausgedehnte Frühstück haben wir genossen, es war an Auswahl und Qualität nicht zu überbieten, ebenso auch hier sehr freundliches Personal. Wenn wir noch mal in den Harz fahren steht das Hotel auf der Position eins.

Grosses Hotel, das aus mehreren Häusern zusammen gestückelt wurde. Eine Suite (Zimmer 306) mit einem 5qm grossem Bad, welches Waschbecken, WC und Dusche beinhaltet und dessen Türe auch noch nach innen aufgeht ist schon was besonderes. Die Doppeltür der Dusche geht nur nach innen auf. Der Weg zum Abendessen führt Trepp hoch, Trepp runter, an der Getränkeausgabe vorbei. Es erwarten einen dann 3 Personen. Eine geleitet zum Tisch, um das Kerzlein anzuzünden. Eine Person bringt Getränke, eine die Speisekarte, eine andere räumt ab..., Personalmangel scheint im Harz ein Fremdwort zu sein.

Erstaunlich ist die hohe Qualität beim Essen und beim Service über viele Jahre. Meine Familie ist dort schon in der zweiten Generation Stammgast. Wir fühlen uns immer sehr wohl. Das Personal ist zu allen Gästen sehr zuvorkommend. Das Essen ist vielfältig und von höchster Qualität. Der Braunschweiger Hof bietet eine besondere Atmosphäre. Vielen Dank und weiter so.

Wir haben dieses Hotel online über Booking gebucht und waren schon etwas enttäuscht. Die Bilder auf der Seite sahen ganz anders aus als das Hotel und das Zimmer vor Ort. Das Hotel ist etwas in der Zeit stehen geblieben und das Mobiliar veraltet. Der Schwimmbad und Saunabereich hingegen wurde erst vor kurzem renoviert und hat alles was das Herz begehrt für einen Wellnessaufenthalt. Dazu muss man aber sagen, dass das Wasser im Pool sehr kalt ist! Das mittelklassige Zimmer war ganz in Ordnung, lädt aber nicht zum verweilen dortdrin ein, das Doppelbett war unbequem. Das Frühstücksbuffett war sehr reichhaltig. Es wurden verschiedene Brot- und Brötchensorten, Müsli, Obstsalat, Eier usw angeboten. Das Frühstücksbuffett war teilweise nicht so nett mehr anzusehen, da die Salami schon dunkle Ränder hatte und der Käse auch schon schwitzig war als wir gekommen sind. Es ist auch schade, dass zB die Butter mit Eis gekühlt wurde aber als wir zum Frühstück gekommen sind, schwamm die Butter in Wasser. Leider wurde vorher nicht deutlich ausgeschildert, dass in dem Frühstück Getränke nicht mitenthalten sind. Wir haben dort für 2 Nächte knapp 300 Euro bezahlt und finden das Preis Leistungs Verhältnis nicht gegeben.

Ett mycket trevligt hotell med bra service. Särskilt frukostservicen var excellent. Minus att rummen saknade ventilation/ac vilket gjorde nätterna varma. Trevlig uterestaurang men minus för avsaknad av utomhusbar/cafe
