I’ll start off with saying that my wife and I stayed here in 2019 and had an excellent stay. The hotel was fairly new at the time and everything functioned. Well things have certainly changed over the past couple of years. The only reason I am not giving a one star is because the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming upon checkin and the location is great. To the many things wrong with this hotel and why you should definitely find somewhere else to stay when you’re in Baguio… The first problem we encountered was the room having a strong chemical/fragrant smell with a sticky residue on all of the surfaces, I’m not sure if they had sprayed some sort of air freshener or something before we arrived but it was quite strong and bad. Secondly the general cleanliness of the room is off putting. There was a thick coating of dust around the tv and on the table next to the bed, gross. The door had hand prints and smudges from the top to bottom as well. The worst of all these issues is the bathroom. Don’t expect to get too clean here because our shower was a trickle of water and not much beyond that, don’t forget to pack your tabo. The staff offered no resolution for a room swap or anything for any of these issues. To finalize, this hotel has lots of cheerful reviews, maybe it was just our specific room in disrepair. However it is advertised as a nice hotel you’d expect some amenities at. There was not even a washcloth or hairdryer in the bathroom. I do regret my stay here this time and would caution if you plan on staying here.

The condominium location was on a very good location near the tourist spots and food joints/restaurants. Our studio unit was clean and tiny but during our stay, unfortunately, there was a brownout due to an electric post that was damaged when a tree fell on it. This resulted to us using the stairs to our 5th floor unit with our luggages sthe elevator was not working and that was not fun at all. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. Our room was a corner unit so we had dual balconies and we got good views and fresh air. I will definitely come back here again in thefuture.

Had the best time staying with Inn Rocio. Very cozy and homey vibes all over the place. Me & my family loved the breakfast and their restaurant La Parilla. Also, the receptionist was kind enough to give us late checkout. You actually don’t need a fan or aircon in the room as it is already freezing cold because of the Baguio weather. Just wanted to suggest maybe have some additional amenities like toothbrush, shampoo, conditioner etc. Also, bidet in the bathrooms. But all in all, our stay was awesome and definitely worth it. Will be back again for sure!

The hotel is a boutique hotel and the theme/concept is good and has its appeal. We arrive after lunch and was told to wait for available rooms. No exact time was given but the girl at the reception was guessing around 3 which is beyond the standard 2 pm check in time.We waited by the reception area. After an hour I notice a newcomer who was able to check in so I went to the front desk about our room. The girl at the reception looked at me bewildered and ask me my name and seems at a lost. Another girl took over and after going through some papers, told us that we had a room. I wondered what would have happened if I didnt ask about it and just waited for them to approach us. The room is ample sized with an overhead fan which was working well. The beds are comfortable. There was only 1 pillow though which was small. I immediatedly called the reception for additional pillow explaining that I had a medical condition that needed me to be elevated while sleeping. The receptionist says that she will get back to me but doubted there was anything available since they had full occupancy. The girl never got back to me. There was a study table at the corner of the room with access to power supply. There was no AC but this is Baguio so it doesnt matter. THere was no ref. THere was a water boiler but no coffee or tea packs which is chargeable. The bathroom is ample and functions well. Water pressure is strong. There was a pad and a pencil at the side table but the pencil is all worn out. (not sharpened) Breakfast was at the 6th floor of the hotel. It was light and airy with a good view of the city. Choices were not much but food was good with an egg station, a salad bar and bread area. It was serviced buffet. Coffee was self serve and located in a corner of the room. One negative note here is that the sugar and creamer were served in bowls with teaspoons for customer to use. It would been more hygienic if they were in packets. Isnt there a covid protocol regarding this? The physical structure (rooms. function rooms. coffee shop) were quite good and as mentioned appealing. However, service is really poor. From the check in part of our stay, to not getting back to me on my request, to breakfast service where the clean ups were done sloppily, much can be improved on. Our hotels have always been distinguished by good service and hospitality and sadly Orchard is pretty off the chart.

Hotel Veniz in Burnham was a good enough place when I first stayed there but the succeeding trips were quite a disappointment. When booking, always take with caution the rooms recommended in the default setting of their website. I learned a bad lesson when I trusted the system completely. Only after I have fully paid for the reservation did I learn that the room had no window and inaccessible by elevator. If you are travelling with old people, this is particularly discomforting. But the uninitiated would click the reserved button right away since the systems give only four hours to pay or booking would be cancelled. Once payment is made, only then does information on the accommodation become available. You might be shocked to know that if you book separate rooms, they might be at different floors. Rooms offered at uniform rates are not necessarily identical in size, location, and view. Last time, we were assured a family room but the place turned out to be too cramped, and while there was window overlooking Burnham Park, it was too high for a person of average height to look out into the sceneries outside, which basically defeats the purpose of having a room with a view. For some reason, I always end up getting these cramp, disappointing accommodations even when the price I paid was supposedly for the high-end type. Another problem is parking. The basement is too dark and poorly-designed a novice driver would have a difficult time positioning his car especially those mid-sized SUVs. The basement ground is uneven, and with so many concrete pillars blocking the way, parking is a challenge. They have security at the basement but none of them is apparently able to drive. You have to do it on your own. Sometimes if you get to park at the inner slots, you will surely get blocked by other vehicles and it takes a while to page the owner to move his car aside in case you are leaving. This place is not worth the trouble of staying there, I would suggest that one finds a better alternative, and avoid this hotel as much as possible.

Uploaded herewith is a photo of an advisory by Baguio Burnham Suites management regarding the LIMITATION in their supply of hot water. This photo was taken inside my hotel room, after I checked-in the hotel. The hotel management should have been honest enough to publish the same advisory in their website. I checked their website BEFORE booking a 9-night stay in their hotel. Had I read their advisory in their website at that time, I would NOT have booked a stay in their hotel at all! When I actually checked-in Baguio Burnham Suites hotel, I discovered that the problem with their supply of hot water was MUCH WORSE that what their advisory admits. The hot water failed literally everyday that I was there. Engineering came twice to try to fix the hot water problem, but the ”fix” did not last! I had to take FREEZING showers in the bathroom twice. This was because Baguio City has COLD weather and there was NO hot water. I asked myself, how about the men's restroom in the ground floor of the hotel? Does it provide hot water? I tested said restroom for 5-10 minutes. NO hot water. I had to check-out of the hotel, after a stay of only 3 nights. I did NOT use the remaining 6 nights of my booking. In a cold climate, NO reliable hot water! Unbearable!

Been checking in here regularly since November for business purposes. This is actually a good hotel specially for a quick fix for a back to back meeting or a long days work. Rooms are clean and necessary sanitary protocols are intact specially being a rooms division manager and working in the industry for almost 12 years i can personally attest that they are maintaining cleanliness on their rooms... Wifi is good though you need to re log in every 5 min of down time,,, though again its good when in use... overall this hotel is really qualified for a 3-4 star review... unfortunately they hired a someone that pulls them down... a rotten apple mixed with good ones... their front office agent named “LYN” made our stay here terrible specially when shes on duty.. (We are having a pleasant stay though when shes on day off or areadly off duty) Take note that we are staying on this property for 5 or more times per month. At first meeting, she even mentioned they dont accept card transaction, as mentioned i told her that im a rooms div manager and i can see a credit card terminal, even offered to teach her how to use it. And yes!!! Its confirmed that she really doesn’t know how to use one. Next is fro a simple request for a simple shampoo, borrowing of extra slippers, all this request are all being denied by this front office agent named LYN... Oh did i forget to mention that its hard to contact the front desk when shes on duty on graveyard? Again we are exactly on point shes sleeping on duty!!! I just dont get the point why does lyn always ask for my id when checking in well in fact all of her colleagues does not do this as im already on their records,,, maybe she also doesn’t know to use the system... lastly we ordered food outside as their resto is close... ever since it is being directly delivered by their staff after the food is being handed to the fo... I dont know if her stupidity struck again and just decided to ask me to go down and pick it up even lying that she only has the guard with him,, after mentioning to her that its always being delivered here on our room, then instantly one of the hk guys gave it with all respect.. To the general manager of this eurotel property, maam / sir, this agent will pull your property down. I really hope that necessary actions will be done. I also understand that maybe she is just hired recently and lack of training is not given due to the pandemic. But being a seasoned hotelier, this type of attitudes are usually untrainable already specially for someone working upfront.. I guess we already know what im suggesting. The guy front office supervisor is someone to commend though adding the new hk male attendant,,,actually all of the staff except Lyn...again a rotten apple on a set of good ones.. 😔

AavianeThis is a hotel that your baby boomer parents & titas would like, mine certainly did. Design looks a bit dated (or that's what they are going for?), classic Baguio-feels, but facilities are maintained and staff are well-trained. They even got fresh flower arrangement decors and manicured gardens to boot. Hotel looks small at a glance but rooms are big on the inside. They can even accommodate two busloads of people without feeling cramped, even on breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, theirs is good, mostly Filipino dishes and more. What I liked the most is the design of the room. We were a group of 6 adults, a kid, and an infant, and we fit comfortably on their family room. They have a table which is nice for coffee (which they provide along with tea bags, cups, and an electric kettle). Being with a big group means a longer queue to a single bathroom, right? Not if you have two separate shower rooms and a door-separated toilet, which is a thoughtful touch along with providing basic toiletries. This is one of the reason I would most likely book here again since we usually go to Baguio with a big group. The only cons I see is that 1. there's no elevator going down to basement rooms, which might be an issue to seniors (my senior companions - 60ish, didn't mind the short flight of stairs though); 2. location is a bit far from city center/business district (it's nearer to Wright Park).

KKimmm11Quite fair for 1700+ per night. We got shared bathroom with other tenants, though the case, it was clean and has hot water system. We got King size bed (?), 1 TV, 1 electric fan, fridge and a small terrace with table and 2 chairs. No AC but no need since Baguio has its natural cooling system. Only 1 bath towel and 1 blanket provided, we failed to asked for additional 😅. The gate closes by 10PM and during our last night, it was locked by 9PM. You may request for key if you'd come back late. Location wise, 8-9 minutes drive (taxi) from the center like SM, bus terminal etc.

Yyogibaby15This hotel went over and beyond my expectations. The facade is very elegant, furnitures at the lobby give you a classic Filipino feel, the restaurant gives you a spectacular view and the computer room is readily available should you need to use one. The hotel gives off a cozy feeling--a home away from home. It made me feel that I'm living in a huge house so it's just about right to say that it's like a dream come true. Room - We were privileged to have stayed in the Penthouse. It is so spacious, beautiful and clean. It has all the essentials you will need either for short or long-stay. It also gives you a spectacular view of the city. It has floor-to-ceiling glass windows that allow sunlight to come in. But these are also equipped with blinds should you prefer a private setup. Food - They offer quite a wide variety of menu for breakfast. Every item is a good choice. One of the owner's suggestion was the Vigan longganisa. I didn't regret following it! He also suggested that we try their sisig which is what we ordered for dinner through Room Service. And it, by far, is the best sisig that I have tasted. My mom, who is a health-buff and not a fan of pork, indulged and set aside her diet after tasting it! Service - IMPECCABLE! This is the first and only hotel where I witnessed the owner himself serve the guests--gets their orders, serves their food & drinks and then really get to know each of them. I was surprised that when we were about to go out, the Front Desk staff handed us a list of places and restaurants that we could visit which was personally handwritten by the owner. He also was too kind to give us a tour on our second and third days. Being a hotelier for 7 years, i have learned a lot from Mr. FD. I will definitely choose to stay in this hotel every time I will visit Baguio. You will never go wrong with, NYC Manhattan Suites. Service -

GGuest UserI was quite surprised that this is just along the hiway. We only took a jeepney and it has a lot of restaurants, other services near the place as its 5 min walk to session road and SM. The lobby was clean and the place is a old house facade but modern in the inside and the staff were friendly. They had Filipino and American breakfast and a good menu option for lunch. We both chose kare2 and I liked their meatball pasta. Not the typical tomato sauce. From the taste it is peeled tomatos. The only thing that I was surprised of was the room given to us since it was just almost right in front of the front desk. It's good because I can easily go to the lobby. Good thing that the Wi-Fi is strong enough to access my accounts. I only chose the Standard room because it was just the 2 of us and it was just a quick stay. The room itself was clean, the shower and faucet's heater were both working fine but no complimentary toothbrush and thootpaste. Restaurant is amazing and has a garden. The TV is Android with Netflix but you put your account but has a cable too. I can say that we had a good stay. Cleanliness and customer service are still two of my priorities when it comes to staycations. Thank you see you again soon.

GGuest UserCheck-in was fast, i had to check the room they were going to give me the day before, and it was in the back so was fairly quiet. View from my room was the back porch of a residential area, but was relatively quiet. I needed time to recharge and catch some sleep and that i did! Wifi was intermittent and slow coz my room was at the far end, but at least i didn't have to suffer with people and kids walking by my room( i heard kids roaming around just a bit), and sound-proofed enough. Bathroom was clean, all-glass (door doubled up as shower door for privacy) basic toiletries were provided as well as the towels which faintly smelled of chlorine. I did brought alcohol sprays and sanitizers and cleaned the room myself. Air-conditioning was cool enough and muted all the ambient noise outside (a plus for me), huge flat-screen tv was good enough, but had all those cable channels in a foreign language. Bed was a surprise coz i was expecting a springy or noisy matress, but it was neither soft nor rock hard, just firm enough for my back(had a good sleep), and pillows good too( just bring your own pillowcases). Breakfast was included in the room and i was alone so i had 2 servings, the dried fish, and the sausages with eggs, plus unlimited coffee and juice. Hotel has an in-house restaurant which served mostly Asian food, i didn't ask if they still have a buffet coz they had one before the pandemic. There's a well-known restaurant too in the ground floor of the hotel and i think you can order food there too if you want to eat in. (just stayed away from the crowd) Clean room, clean bathroom, and breakfast. Small luxuries with a quiet room. Reasonable rates. Good enough for 4 stars out of 5 for me.

GGuest UserThe price is actually not bad. Don’t ask too much for this place. It’s close to SM is not too far away, cheaper than other places, and not very convenient for eating and other things.

JJennifer IThis is a good place to stay if you need to be in the city area. The rooms are basic. Quite big and clean although it has been built years ago it is still clean. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were soft. The location is the one you are paying for. It is walking distance from Burnham Park and the market, and Session Road. Easy to explore Baguio from this hotel. If you are not picky and just a place to stay after all your busy tours and exploration of the city this is value for money. The breakfast is plated choices from American and Filipino breakfast which was good. The front desk staff and housekeeping staff, even at the restaurant staff were all courteous. Overall we had a good stay.

GGuest UserThe unit we got is a good size and comfortable for a family of 4. We actually just slept there, out early and back late, the 3 nights of our stay. I feel like the unit was not maintained well. The floors were not swept good. It was dusty. The bathroom lavatory leaks and the water stays on the corners of the counter. Presence of spider webs out on the terrace and presence of little cockroaches. The front screen door does not close completely. I know there was a 5 review, units are surely different from one another. We have a good view of the mountain and below.

TTrittle LIf you're after the basic amenities for lodging and accommodations, this facility is perfect especially for family trips where the budget is quite limited. It's already value for money given the cost and the space the rooms provide. The food is not so bad either and is far better than other newer, fancier hotels in Baguio. It is also ideal for quick business trips or office seminars/conferences since it is far from the center of distractions, traffic and hustle and bustle of the city.
