The Bannerghatta Nature Camp is a surprise. Just on the outskirts of a bustling city like Bangalore with its flyovers and late nights and chaotic traffic lies 25,000 acres of carefully preserved jungle. For children and the child in you, its an amazing storybook destination brought to life. Bannerghatta has been used as a rehabilitation facility for tigers and lions rescued from circuses. The biggest of its kind, this facility has opened opportunities for Indias first Lion and Tiger Safari. With enclosures that recreate their natural habitat, seeing a giant cat up close, with just the safety of the jeep separating you and the beast, resonates to a very deep part of you.Show More

Bannerghatta Nature Camp offers a delightful escape for families seeking an immersive natural experience close to the city. My family of four enjoyed a day's stay in one of the rustic yet comfortable log huts, which, despite its basic amenities, provided a cozy retreat with air conditioning. The all-inclusive package was a highlight, covering all meals, safaris, and a herbivore walk, ensuring a hassle-free experience. The meals served were simple, healthy, and surprisingly tasty, catering well to both adults and children. The safari was a thrilling journey for us all, especially the kids, who were excited to see a range of wildlife including lions, tigers, bears, elephants, and deer up close. The staff at the camp were exceptionally friendly and helpful, enhancing our stay with their attentiveness and knowledge of the wildlife. The overall a**osphere of the camp was welcoming and perfectly suited for families. This nature camp visit is truly an experience not to be missed, providing a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation in the wild.

Camp Monk is really a good property with a good theme of camping. However the ***agement is pretty bad . Though the staff are more generous to support the guest but the system of payment and ordering food is pretty bad and unsatisfactory . Digitalization of services will be very good for the guest if it will get customized . No body would like to scan QR code every order or in between order and will wait for 20 mins to get the food or in between the consumption of food . Staff should have a flexibility to accommodate guest . For barbeque(In spite of we paid for barbeque in advance ) , the staff reluctant to provide butter and eventually I took my car to Kanakpura road to get butter in the late evening before starting Barbeque (as I don't like my family to feel uncomfortable in tu tu tu mai mai with the staff ). Hospitality is pretty bad and unhygienic from the service industry perspective . Speaking English or Kanada wont solve the problem but there would be a intention to help the guest and make the guest feel that they are getting treated better . Site restaurant does not have drinking glass as they promote only plastic and insisting the guest to use Plastic glass which is really unhygienic . So friends be aware of it and get your own glass before going to camp monk . I went to Kanakpura to get six glass for my personal use . Our family enjoyed Horse riding and Kayaking . . However for kayaking we should have a rescue boat , which is not available . I am not at all Happy with the services and will suggest for any body is opting for this should think twice before booking .
