WWinnie li IThe location of this hotel is a lot convenient for me. I can walk to the place where I am going to class every day. Since I have a few days of class time, the hotel also specially arranged breakfast for me earlier.

GGuest Userthe hotel's service is quite good. all facilities are available here, such as food, water ( both cold and hot ), tea, coffee, etc. the restaurant is not inside the hotel, but just in front of it. you can't find the typical north indian food here like chapatis or so, but no worries. there is a market just outside the street, where you find anything to your liking. we checked into this hotel earlier than the hotel limit, but still they did not mind. they vacated the room, cleaned it and then our luggage was sent to our room, without us worrying about it as it was heavy. the people here were very helpful. ours was a non-ac, triple room with a double bed, a single bed, a cushioned chair, a dressing table with drawers, a high table with two shelves, a bedside table with drawers and two glasses. there was a towel and a pair of sleepers too. our room had an attached bathroom too. though it looked old and there were some problems in the beginning of procuring hot water, but it was solved instantly, all thanks to its excellent service. though there was a paint bucket instead of the usual bucket, which looked odd, but it was clean and we became habitual with the passing of the days. there was no individual geyser in our bathroom. the hot and warm water poured out from the tap from 6am to 6pm daily. there were laundries nearby. we brought our clothes here for washing, the rate was 100 npr for 1 kg. the facility of ironing was there too, though we did not avail it. our hotel was situated in thamel, the most important tourist site in kathmandu, so, with god's grace, we didn't have any problem visiting anywhere else from here, since taxis or cabs were frequent here. just come outside your street and get it, easy! but fixing the rate before getting in the cab is the safest way. they will just drop you at your destination and after spending your time there, you just take another taxi. i've not seen any autos here. there were some cycle-rickshaws at few paces away, but they were not allowed at the main roads. though the hotel was quite good, but i can't say the same for the restaurant in front of it. in the beginning, they did not charge us for the warm drinking water to fill our water flask, but later, they started charging us for it. and when they charged us the exorbitant amount for this, then we stopped taking from them altogether. also, their standard went from good to poor within days. the beddings were quite comfortable and we were provided with one quilt and one thick blanket for each bed, so that we did not feel any cold during our stay here. our room was on the first floor, and there were five more floors and then, there was a rooftop, where we were allowed to hang our clothes on the clothes' lines there. there was wifi too there, but it never connected, though we were provided its password. and our indian sim was not working there, so, we bought a nepalese sim and got its data recharge done. there are recharge cards available here for the talktime recharge. it is the dusty region and so, the clothes get dirty even after wearing them once a day. there are mosquitoes here too, so you can bring mosquito -repellent cream or all-out refills with machine. i carry these everywhere i visit, because you don't know where the mosquitoes will find you.. yes, though the hotel is good, it does not give you the good vibes, the reception area is dark and the people look gloomy. or rather they are reserved, i can't say. they don't talk with you unless you take the initiative. i don't know whether their behaviour was the same with the others or was it just with us! and the hotel falsely claimed that it had a restaurant, instead it had a french craperie only. so, on our first day, we had to go to another hotel for our meals, although we were tired. it was on the suggestion of our hotel, because they didn't provide the vegetarian food at that time. but after five days of our stay there, they included the vegan and veg food too. the recharge points in……
