This hotel is truly a little gem, 7 of us came to stay over the bank holiday, to celebrate the life of my mum who sadly passed away in March. It’s was an amazing stay the staff were all so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We were lucky enough to stay in an executive sea view room, these are massive and have a seating area with the most unbelievable view. We had dinner in the restaurant on Saturday night and the food was just exemplary and very reasonably priced. It was the first time staying in Criccieth, after the stay it certainly won’t be the last.

What a find!!! An ideal situation on the sea front. A lovely hotel with an amazing view from our bedroom overlooking the sea, exceeded all expectations. The staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The meals were excellent, and service good. The Poachers restaurant is also worth a visit, excellent Seafood Medley.

Well we are here again, just 2 nights this time, great room, great views, great service (Laura and Amber their usual exceptional selves, although the rest of the team are good too) and great food. We shall be back as soon as we can and already planning next year.

Lovely hotel in great location. Beautiful views overlooking the beach. Very helpful friendly team. Efficient & professional. Very comfortable room with lovely en suite. Fabulous restaurant which had a very relaxed friendly atmosphere. Fantastic food!

The most beautiful view from the room and the most soothing soundscape of the sea and bird song. I saw a dolphin and an egret (and other little waders I couldn't identify) from our window as I sat at the window with a cuppa listening to sound of the waves and chirping sparrows and watching the swooping house martins . Everyone at the hotel is so friendly and food is excellent and the room so comfortable and well appointed. Highly recommended and would love to stay again.

As you enter the Hotel, you get a sense of peace and relaxation. The bedrooms are spacious and well maintained. The Breakfasts offer a wide range of Continental and Full Welsh meals whilst the Dinners offer an excellent range of options all cooked to perfection All of the staff, from kitchen to Front of House, are polite and friendly and willing to offer advice when needed. Nothing is too much trouble to them The bedrooms at the front of the hotel provide you with beautiful views of the sea and the surrounding hills and mountains The hotel does not cater for children or animals which adds to the peaceful atmosphere. My wife and I will visit again and again

I was very disappointed with my stay. We paid for a large double room but instead we was given a room with 2 single beds. The room was dirty and the shower did not work either. I was also advised that breakfast would be included for the price that I paid but we never received breakfast. I will not be returning!

Very friendly hotel with wonderful views over the bay and Criccieth Castle, comfortable bedroom with all that you need. The hotel has a very good restaurant with a good menu selection and wine list, all the staff are very pleasant and make you feel very welcome. We will be back very soon.

Three nights in an executive room, so relaxing to sit in the cozy chairs by the window and watch the light change over the water. The staff was as friendly and helpful as everyone says—even made a call for me to the local laundromat to check payment options. It’s definitely an older hotel but the dining room and lounge are decorated in a fun modern style and there’s a nice side garden with tables too. Our dinner was fabulous, the lamb in particular. And super gin and tonics! Easy walk to other restaurants as needed. Small lift for help with bags, huge bed, very clean room. Noise does carry up from the street if you have the windows open (only an issue in early morning for garbage pickup) but quiet otherwise. A truly pleasant stay with a warm genuine vibe.
