Renaissance Beijing Wangfujing Hotel

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Wangfujing, directly opposite the Beijing People's Art Theatre and Commercial Press, and next to the National Art Museum of China. The surrounding area is bustling with shops and restaurants, making it very convenient for exploring and dining. The service was warm and attentive; the room they arranged for us was clean and tidy, and we could even see the Forbidden City from it. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options and tasted great. The hotel also has a swimming pool and spa, and the lobby is spacious and grand. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay.

This hotel is super conveniently located right next to Wangfujing Street, just a two-minute walk away. There are several subway lines nearby, making it a breeze to get to both Beijing South and North stations. From the executive floor, you can even see the Forbidden City! On a clear day, the view is incredibly sharp – it almost feels like you've visited it. The staff are all incredibly nice; they call before check-in and follow up after check-out, really prioritizing guest satisfaction. Big thumbs up!

The hotel boasts convenient transportation and excellent overall service, particularly from the front desk ladies, Selina and Rita. Their graceful and proper demeanor, coupled with their warm and attentive service, truly reflects the hotel's high standards. The rooms are clean, tidy, and quiet, and the breakfast offers a great variety. The doorman service is also commendable. We booked a room with a view, and it was truly amazing; upon drawing the curtains, we could see the Forbidden City, the Great Hall of the People, the Monument to the People's Heroes, and Beihai Park – all within sight. I highly recommend the Jinmao Hotel.

The service at Iris Coco was excellent, and the breakfast was delicious. I loved the fragrant and comfortable ambiance of the lobby on the first floor. The bedding in the room was incredibly soft and comfortable. It was also super convenient to walk to the National Art Museum of China for an exhibition, only about a ten-minute walk away.

The biggest highlights were definitely the views of the Forbidden City and Jingshan Park. I came here for my birthday, and they kindly arranged a high-floor room with a great view as requested, which I really appreciated. They even surprised me with a small birthday cake and fruit – so thoughtful! My family and I had a wonderful two-day, one-night stay here. The executive lounge also has fantastic views, and the evening light meal was quite good.

Front desk staff Cecilia provided excellent service; she was very enthusiastic and followed up throughout my stay, promptly resolving any issues. The hotel room was very clean and tidy, and the views were great. Any requests I had were accommodated efficiently. Also, front desk staff Selina gave me water and helped with my luggage when I checked out, which was a nice touch. Overall, it was a great experience. My only suggestion is that it would be helpful if housekeeping could provide hair ties, as it can be quite inconvenient if you forget to bring one.

Room facilities: The room was tiny!!! So small!! Super tiny!! The bed was tiny!! The toilet was tiny!! The room I checked into was different from what I booked, but Trip.com helped resolve it! The room wasn't ready until 4 PM!! I was unhappy! The hotel offered no apologies! Thanks to Trip.com. Cleanliness: The cleanliness was alright! Clean. Environment: The environment was also pretty good. Service: I didn't experience any service! It didn't meet hotel standards!

Huge thanks to Sarah for the thoughtful and meticulous arrangements! The room view was absolutely stunning. The executive lounge staff were incredibly nice, and the hotel's location is super convenient. We could bike to Tiananmen Square in just 20 minutes, cycling along Chang'an Avenue to really soak in the local culture.
