Ji Hotel (Beijing Guomao) Reviews

Hotel is too far from the metro station. It is at least 20 minutes by foot from nearest train station (Dawanglu station), about 5 minutes via bicycle (1.5 yuan). Hotel is in the midst of a business area. Many people would be booking didi (taxi) every morning to go out. Arrived at the hotel past 2pm (check in time was 2pm), but the room was not available yet??? I still had to wait for another 1 hour for them to get the room ready. When asked why wasn’t the room ready yet, they only said it was due to previous guests checking out at 2pm… When we went up to the room, the room floor was still wet. Overall the room was dusty, some parts of the floor was slippery even after it was dry. We went out for dinner and after coming back the aircon was switched off and wasn’t cold at all after switching back on. We called the front desk to ask, they only said they would send a technician. But after 30 minutes and a second call, only did the technician come up to inform us that the aircon for the entire level malfunctioned. Basic housekeeping was done daily. Laundry room available at level 1. Overall was not very satisfied with the services of the staff after encountering all these issues, would not come back again.

The hotel is ideally situated with very helpful staff. English services can be provided and transportation is very convenient. Within riding distance to China mall and The Place for all your shopping needs. Dawang Lu station is also not too far and can be used to travel around by transferring stations.

The location was a bit secluded and hard to find but otherwise fine. The installations were a bit outdated but worked fine. The room was mostly clean but had a lingering strong smell. The main problem is that we were given a room on the bottom floor and had a close encounter with a cockroach during the night, since one managed to get inside my friend's bed while he was asleep.

Good location, good service but the room size is a bit small. But at the Beijing CBD area this price is consider good

Place was clean and easy to navigate, place was also walking distance from the shopping area in Chaoyang district.

The hotel was clean and really nice!

Not as clean as other ji hotels. Some insects and odd smells. Staff service is excellent though! They changed our rooms twice due to room issues without any hassle.

Great hotel, but not close to a lot of the sites of Beijing. This was perfectly fine in my situation but make sure it’s in the area you are looking to stay so you don’t end up traveling a lot. Hotel was very clean and everyone was friendly!

There are mosquitoes, can't sleep well and the air conditioning is not cold enough. I still feel hot.

In Beijing National Advertising Park, it is very quiet and not noisy. Although the room is not big, it is clean and comfortable. I lost my ID card on the way to a business trip. It is very convenient to check in by scanning the code at the front desk. The front desk service is patient, careful and considerate. I will choose it next time I come to Beijing~

The check-in procedure was very smooth, and a small yogurt fruit plate was given upon check-in. Free upgrade to a zero-pressure king-size bed room. The surrounding environment was very quiet. Unfortunately, the office building opposite our room was unloading until almost 3 a.m. and it was very noisy. I am very sensitive to sound, so I bothered the front desk staff to change the room in the middle of the night. Thank you very much for changing the room in time, which did not affect the itinerary for the next few days. I was caught in the rain while playing around the world, and the laundry service was really convenient to wash and dry directly. The sanitary conditions were good, and the cleaning staff would change the toiletries, re-make the bed and clean the floor every day.
