Very good location and a clean place to stay!

It is clean and quiet, also I think the staff is pretty friendly and helpful. I highly recommend if you are solo traveler, you should consider here

We paid extra for early check-in so we could get into our room sooner. However, the front desk just told us to 'be cool' and wait downstairs. Having flown all night, we were exhausted and ended up dozing off in the lobby for a bit. There was no prior warning or indication that this wasn't allowed. Then, a staff member appeared, woke us up with a finger snap 🫰🏼, and snapped, 'If you're tired, go upstairs and buy some coffee.' It seems this hostel's early check-in service isn't about getting some rest, but rather about encouraging a morning coffee-buying habit. Utterly hilarious ❤️. After a long-haul flight, coffee would only make us feel worse. When the front desk saw we weren't buying coffee, they cranked up the music right next to where we were sitting to maximum volume. By 9 AM, it felt like we were in a nightclub, partying hard. The room also had its own 'charm.' The air circulation was terrible. We opted for the more expensive private bathroom? It was a 'wet room' style bathroom, as if we were swimming in the ocean. So, this is where Berlin's sea is located 🌊! The beds 🛏️ were a constant source of surprises. Underneath the bed frame, we found chewing gum and band-aids stuck on, which I suppose counts as complimentary art installations, making one wonder if this was a satellite venue for a biennale art exhibition? Truly a 'delight.' If you were lucky enough to get a bottom bunk, you'd be treated to the spectacle of urine seeping down from the top bunk. Truly a marvel! Coming straight from clean, respectful hostels in Iceland to this damp, rude establishment, it seems coffee is their only real business 👍👍👍🎉🎊.

Really convenient for the stay, near to train station, good breakfast

its good but something is not good like extra pay for towel and shower place is not safe and type c charging slots is not working,Reception lady behaviour is not good.

Nice place if you just need a bed to sleep in, good value for the price, great location in the city centre and close to many sights. Also well connected if you want to explore other parts. Towels, toothbrush, toothpaste etc. are not provided and cost extra. There is a safe under the bunk bed but you need to bring a lock

I stayed at Generator Berlin Alexanderplatz and overall had a pretty good experience. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the heating in the room was excellent — the space felt warm and very comfortable throughout my stay. The hostel’s common areas and facilities were also quite nice. The only downside was the cleanliness inside my dorm room. Some roommates didn’t maintain good hygiene: they sometimes ate food inside the room, talked loudly on the phone late at night, and even left the bathroom unflushed. I also ended up throwing away plastic bottles left behind by others. This wasn’t the hostel’s fault, but more about the behavior of certain guests. Aside from that, the hostel itself is great, and I would consider staying again — hopefully with more considerate roommates next time.

The room is quite small for the 6-ppl suite. But I think given the price is so affordable, there is nothing much to complain about. Location is good. Not very clean as I see some stains on the blanket.

Staff was very kind and helpfull. During my stay they helped my all requests. Location is great and rooms are clean and fresh . I suggest this place definetly.

It was nice. Good value for the price. The location is perfect. Great for solo travellers, backpackers or people who are open to meet others...
