Centro Hotel Kurfurstendamm

The Titanic Comfort Kfd is a perfectly fine, comfortable, mid-range hotel with little in the way of 'frills' but in a very convenient location. The lobby, accessible directly off the street is welcoming and staff were helpful, particularly in correcting a small error made in our room rate charge and offering to store our luggage before our flight. We booked a superior double room which was spacious and had the added advantage of being on a corner of the building with views across the district. Strangely, the curtains did not extend completely across all windows, which meant that light did come through the gaps when the sun came up, and one curtain actually came off its rails when I pulled it over. This, together with the bathroom sink plug which was not working, were fixed promptly the next day, however perhaps the curtains could be refitted to cover all windows? A small detail which detracted from the overall impression of the hotel. The breakfast area/restaurant/bar area is pleasant and leads out to a nice outdoor seating area in warmer months; the breakfast buffet itself was extensive and generous with a good range of foods. There is not much else in the way of facilities in the hotel, however as this is Berlin and there is a lot to see, you won't be spending too much time indoors! As mentioned, the main drawcard of the hotel is its location, right next to Schoneberg and halfway between Nollendorfplatz and Wittenburgplatz U-Bahn stations. While not actually on Kurfurstendamm, it is only about a 10 minute walk away, with easy access to KaDeWe and surrounding shops and malls. Overall, recommended for a short stay in Berlin if you like the area, want easy access to public transport and do not want to pay for 'frills' or added extras like gyms and pools.

Lovely Hotel in super great location, close to the Tauentziehstrasse, Wittenbergplatz etc. so shopping in general, in the KDW especially, restaurants etc all super close by. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was spacious, especially corner rooms, and overall brilliant experience. I had to go to Urania to attend an event and this is very close by (3 min walk), so this was an added bonus. Would definitely stay here again!!

The room is very comfortable and the hotel is in a great location. The staff were all polite and friendly. Main draw backs our aircon was always cold and couldn’t make it any warmer. The tv only has 1 English speaking Chanel and it wouldn’t allow us to mirror our phones to watch anything. The breakfast is ok but overpriced and this is the first hotel I have ever stayed in that has no tea/coffee making facilities in the room

Our stay at the Titanic Comfort Kurfurstendamm was an outstanding experience. To begin with, the room was very comfortable -spacious, clean and bright- and overlooking a beautiful street. Then the staff -especially Blanca and Jan- were very polite and professional, always ready to give you useful information or good advice. And last, but not least, the breakfast delicious and more than enough to set you up for the day. The attendants in the breakfast room were also very welcoming and helpful.

The hotel is situated at a location that can be reached by public transport. The check in and out speed is effective and free Wi-Fi increases the satisfaction. The out of order elevator is affecting the comfort and dissatisfaction continues with the old room design. They need to refurbish the room. The breakfast is satisfactory. I suggest for only short occasions.

I’m writing this so that others are careful because what started as a great vacation turned into a terrible experience. I stayed at Titanic hotel for 4 days , throughout everyday I’d leave the hotel to go explore the rest of the city all was fine till the third day when I got ready to leave the room only to find a huge sum of money gone from mine and friend envelopes that were kept in the safe. Keeping in mind that I had done all the steps needed the days before to make sure the safe was working which made me believe it was someone who surely had a master key that would do such a thing but what struck me the most was how the manager only called the police and felt sorry yet didn’t take any further actions or tried to help in any other way even though they knew that my family and I were tourists from Egypt who carried cash around instead of using visa even while checking in. This most definitely ruined the rest of our trip as we sadly couldn’t get the money back and we can’t use the visa due to the policies of our country. So I genuinely and honestly do not recommend going to this hotel especially if you are a tourist carrying a large sum of money.

Fabulous experience. Great location, minutes from one of the busiest and most beautiful areas in Berlin. Great transit links just steps away. I had a wonderful room, the breakfast choices were excellent but the best part of my stay was the humour and good nature of the staff. The reception staff were professional and helpful but they had a fabulous sense of humour and I swear that if they could sing, they'd have an Act!

I was positively surprised by the quality of the hotel: stylish decor ( art deco vibes ), polite staff and very high quality breakfast with lot of green options. Rooms are quite small and not as nice as public areas but perfectly OK for a weekend stay. Nice little" secret terrace " behind the bar with some sofas and chairs, perfect spot for cigarette smokers to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning.

Spotlessly clean, very helpful staff and very near U bahn. We had the tripple room which was well equipped and modern and good value Wifi was super fast and the air con was good on the hot nights in the August heatwave. The hotel is also very near a good selection of restaurants and bars as well a number of very big shopping centres. The area is however very quiet at night. One small criticism is the price of the breakfast (18 euros for adult, 9 for kids) is a little over priced in my view, but overall a really good option for a visit to Berlin
