"Great hotel near the central bus station, just a 3 mins walk away. Supermarkets and cafes nearby as well as underground stations. The staff was nice and helpful, check in and check out went quickly. The bed was comfy, the WiFi was good, and my room was really quiet with the windows towards the back away from the main road. Note: the room doesn’t have a fridge or coffee maker - but that was no issue for me in this occasion. Another plus was the welcome drink. I would def recommend this hotel."

"What an incredible hotel! We were staying for four nights in the Penthouse Suite. The room is amazing. Full of light at sunrise, very silent - the only sound are the birds chirping in the garden. Bed is very comfortable too. The breakfast is delicious, with plenty of healthy and balanced options. Architecturally, the building renovation is a masterpiece. What I loved were the common areas of the lounge and billiard room. You can make your own (delicious) tea and chill or even have a casual meeting. I will definitely stay at Wilmina next time I go to Berlin!"

"A quality hotel. Clean and tidy. We spent 4 nights with our family. Breakfast is repetitive, but very good (the pastries and fruit are especially good). The location is convenient for exploring the city (5 minutes' walk to the metro station, about 20 minutes to the main street). There's a good supermarket across the street. Cons: Not enough refrigerator (especially if you're visiting in the summer). Poor lighting in the room."

"Steigenberger hotel was exceptional and fantastic. Located just a few minutes walk away from Berlin HBF it is one of the easiest hotels to find and get to coming from a long trip by train. The hotel outside is incredible: tall building, modern design and overall in a clean and safe area. Our check in was super easy and the front desk was kind enough to reccomend local hot spots that helped us plan our couple days of exploring. The bar downstairs and the spa at the very top were both world class and the room itself was super cozy. We were so impressed by this spot and very much look forward to one day coming back."

"The woman receptionist named was very rude and ******. She would be smiling to a white guy and rolling her eyes to us the next second (we are Asian.) Check-in needs to be done on the self service tablet, she didn’t offered any help other than impatiently telling go to the machine with her eyes rolling. One of the room initially assigned to us was defective: there’s no WiFi signal in the room. We asked if we could switch to another as everything in the room remained intact and there were clearly other rooms (you can even book a new one right away online!!) She just refused us saying all rooms are full, and saying that she doesn’t care if we would like to leave a negative review online. We had in total three rooms but we found surprisingly no room in a perfect state: one doesn’t have WiFi, one’s sink drainage is clogged, one’s coffee machine didn’t work….. Anyway, none of us had an experience that you would expect from a 4-star hotel."
