This is our second stay at Hotel Settles. It has become a regular stopping point for our annual trip from Dallas to Ruidoso. The renovations that have been done to restore this historic landmark are spectacular. Everything is modern while retaining the 100 year old charm of the hotel. If you have reason to stop over between Abilene and Odessa, I'd always recommend a night at the Hotel Settles. ....... There's absolutely nothing to do in Big Spring, so you can relax.

I had an amazing night in a beautiful room! During a freeze of my water pipes I just needed a shower and got so much more! Room service food was amazing and the staff was so awesome. And they actually had a real handicap shower. which is very hard to find and traveling. I will definitely refer all my friends that come to visit and I’m not gonna say anything about I’ll be back because I don’t want my pipes to freeze again it has not been fun. Except for my stay there!

If you are driving between Dallas and El Paso, definitely stay at the Settles. Beautifully restore high end hotel. Staff is very helpful, friendly, courteous. Restaurant is excellent. Rooms are huge and superbly outfitted. And the price is a little more than Holiday Inn Express.

Beautiful, scenic hotel. The surrounding area at night isn’t that great, just feels deserted. Our room was gorgeous but tried to take a bath and the stopper wouldn’t work and then the toilet wouldn’t flush. Called down to the front desk and Brittany immediately got us into another room. I had planned to take my husband out to a restaurant for his birthday but it was closed for some reason so we ate at the hotel restaurant and we had such a great meal and the staff was so kind. Really, really enjoyed our time here and will make the trip back!

This is a wonderfully restored 1930 hotel. They kept the room footprints the same and the fixtures and furniture. But it is very comfortable and clean. It’s affordable luxury!
