We had a river view room that had a nice view.
The bed was comfortable.
The a\c unit was extremely loud.
The room was about what you would expect at this price level but it is well worn. The bed spread looked old, the furniture has doors and drawers that didn't close, the shower head had deposits on it.
Breakfast is a one time pass only and the staff fixes your plate for you.
The staff here were very nice and polite, check in and check out were problem free.

I booked 2 rooms with king beds and a river view. I got 2 rooms with queen beds and a junk parking lot view. Will never stay here again

I love the view, I had a river view room.. The breakfast staff are very friendly. There are lots of options for lunch and dinner. The convention center is so close you can leave your car and walk. I feel safe walking to anything..

The position of the hotel, overlooking the Mississippi, couldn't be bettered and we saw a lovely sunset.
The hotel bar looks good but seemed a half hearted effort, and the policy of serving drinks in plastic 'glasses' seemed bizarre.
Breakfast was also odd, with rationing appearing to be a priority.

Terrible Check-In process. The room reservation was changed without prior notice. Was told by the front desk that the hotel was overbooked which is why the reservation was changed, and they were unwilling to make any accommodations. However, it would have been helpful to have been informed of any changes before getting to the room.

Average. Scratchy sheets. If the sheets on the bed were not rough and scratchy it would be a better hotel. Noisy outside. Not the fault of the hotel - cars with loud music parking by the river. I will stay elsewhere if I ever come back.
