I'm not a fan of check in via screen but it was okay. The breakfast was average.

I think our world is doomed
The remote check-in with an operator located in India, is shameless
Nothing wrong with the operators who were efficient and kind but I think this kind of check in marks the beginning of the end and it is ugly
Also, the ac is super noisy and together the dehumidifier make sleeping impossible

Everything was good, except that the front desk was facing a machine for remote processing. For people with poor English, communication was a bit difficult. Fortunately, the other party used translation software and could understand each other's meanings.

Cleaning staff did an excellent job. Nice pool but not heated. Desk person was a contact by zoom rather being present so had to get used to that.

What can I say about this property that hasn’t been said?
Pros: decent breakfast (more than just muffins and bagels). Seems to be an updated property. No carpeting in rooms are nice.
Now the cons. The virtual checkin process was smooth, but you’re not finding out local restaurants or places to go to. It’s a pretty cold process. Speaking of, the pool is absolutely frigid. It could also use a thorough cleaning as there are leaves and bugs floating and makes it unappealing. My room was not turned down one of the nights I was here. The time they did turn it down, housekeeping left me with zero towels. And since no one is on site, I had to find someone who actually works here and get towels. Bathroom seems a little unsafe after a shower. Tub is not lined with any sort of grip. Bathroom floor is very slick after showering.

No staff at check in, only virtual. Not my thing. Some light fixtures out in room. Breakfast was plentiful and good, place was clean. An 8 of 10
