As soon as you enter the hotel grounds, the ambience is straight away from the Borobudur temple & when you enter the lobby you can smell the typical Plataran aromatherapy... the atmosphere is calm like in Ubud, Bali & there are lots of facilities that our family and I can enjoy.

The 25 year old hotel is great and can maintain the cleanliness of the rooms, bathrooms and public areas. The klatak satay is delicious and the caesar salad is delicious. The spa is also nice and well maintained.

Due to problems with the Yogyakarta train booking system, we were unable to pay for train tickets online. The hotel lady also helped to pay for the booking with her own account.

The check-in process was smooth and fast... the staff was friendly and informative
The Valle car clerk was kind enough to give us a parking space right in the front yard because we were leaving at 04.00 for the Marathon.
We finished running because we were tired from running and woke up very early... we asked for a late check out but were REJECTED for full reasons... (Monday) but that's it.
After that we were TERRORED FO.. from 11.00 the phone rang every 15 minutes…. Appointed turned off… continued like that… until 12.00 it rang again… then there was a woman's voice…. : Sorry check out time is 12.00 !!
The terror of missing calls every 10-15 minutes is really impolite….that's how this hotel drives people away… So sadistic!! Like debt collectors… exactly.
