Copley Square Hotel Reviews

I booked this hotel through Trip.com for a double double bed room, and I got a single double bed, which I had to share with my teenage son. They didn’t give me what I booked and when I called the front desk they said that I used a third-party so there’s nothing I could do about it. Trip.com accommodated me with extra trip coins for the trouble, but it was horrible and on top of it the bed was so hard and uncomfortable. The window in my room was broken and taped up. It was a musty smell in the room, not good ventilation because the room was so small. This large vent was right on top of the bed blowing either hot or cold air so I just turned it off. The floor was not level so you felt off. I would never go back to this hotel again. If you happen to go to this hotel, don’t book it through a third-party, which their rates on their website are ridiculous for this old dilapidated hotel.

Good value for the location. The gym is quite tight. The front desk service (after a couple of stays) is wildly uneven. The good news is that at least one crew is really good: attentive, courteous, good communicators. The downside is at least two of the other crews are not so much in my experience of using their service and observing it.

Good place

The location of the hotel is very good, in the center of Boston. , next to the Boston Library and Trinity Church. The service attitude is also very good. The hotel has a certain history. The rooms are small and some of the room windows face the patio.

Don't book a double bed room when staying in this hotel. The rooms in the double bed rooms are located inside and are not exposed to sunlight. If you want to book a room, you can only book a twin bed room. The hotel is clean and the beds are comfortable.

Super easy and quick check in with friendly and informative staff. Pristinely clean room. Safe area with lots to see and do nearby. Great place to stay to enjoy the Back Bay Area without breaking the bank! This is 2nd stay here and will absolutely return again.

Hotel itself was very nice and well kept, but when we entered, it was tough to squeeze through the entryway to the bedroom with the way the door was positioned, there were not enough towels or toilet paper prepared for us, the toilet paper holder was bent downwards so we had to place the toilet paper on the sink to avoid it falling onto the floor every time we used it, and one of our key cards did not work, briefly locking us out. They said it may have been magnetized but I've never had this happen at a hotel before. Overall, the stay was still enjoyable and we may return at another time, assuming these were isolated issues that aren't normal for them.
