Great location, but rooms waiting to be renovated. Quiet calm environment, but there is a lot of crosstalk from the rooms next door quality of the breakfast was boring and poor. Cleanliness and the quality of ibad are good.

The location is great and it provides a parking behind the hotel for which we were not charged. The breakfast is decent. We expected it to be rather old, but we found it to be in worse conditions than we expected. The toiletries provided were very cheap and limited, the service was very scarce and overall we found that the venue is definitely not to four-star hotel. As a result we even moved out one-night earlier.

We arrived on 31 Dec, 2022 to find a hotel with no working central heating. Most of the rooms offered to our group were far too cold. After many complaints some of us were moved to rooms with functioning heat converters. The bathrooms remained ice cold. The food was far below expectations. Three waiters tried to serve 100 guests for New Year’s Eve dinner. Compared to our visit 6 years before our stay was very disappointing.

We visited this hotel in July 2022. It was supposed to be part of a foodie experience. We were so glad to leave this hotel. I really have tried hard to find something, anything, positive to say about this hotel and I cant. My reviews are usually positive but there was so much to be unhappy about here. The room was tired and grubby with ripped curtains. The description of the hotel is so far from the reality that I have had to check several times I had the correct hotel. There is a Grand Hotel across the square (not Grand Hotel Regina) and it appeared to be a fine hotel. Our room was grubby, the shower was a trickle at most. The one evening meal we attended was (I dont like to use the word disgusting but its the one that fits best). We were there three nights. My wife gave up on breakfast after one but I persevered. I never saw a member of staff at breakfast on each of three days. I saw many flies at the buffet breakfast enjoying the scant selection of cheese and meat ahead of the guests. It was awful. Everything about this hotel was awful. It doesnt merit two stars and I cannot understand why it has more. I have stayed in many many hotels and this hotel is undoubtedly the worst. It is at best a cheap hostel but for a true description words escape me.

Essendo decenni che organizzo viaggi scolastici, dopo aver letto le recensioni, mi aspettavo una permanenza caratterizzata da scarsi servizi e bassa qualità. Mi sono dovuto ricredere: l’ambiente è gradevole, ampio e porta i segni di un antico splendore che credo non sia facile gestire (qualche limite c’è oggettivamente). Ma il team (internazionale) che lo anima è gentile, disponibile, rispettoso delle esigenze degli ospiti. Poche volte mi è capitata con gruppi scolastici una cena abbondante e di qualità come quella che ci è stata servita, con passaggio di bis per ogni portata e … una meravigliosa colazione, salata e dolce. Consiglio convintamente. PS l'autista del bus, che in precedenza ha lavorato in vari hotel, conferma tutto quanto sopra.

Servizi indecenti e personale assolutamente incompetente. Sporcizia nelle camere e nei locali comuni con cumuli di spazzature appena fuori dell’hotel vicino ai cassonetti e al parcheggio; prenotato camera doppia e sistemato in matrimoniale; asciugamani bagno mancanti; climatizzatore non funzionante (ho cambiato 4 camere e mi è stato detto di aprire le finestre); pulizie non sufficienti nella camera e nel bagno e per 2gg su 6 non fatte; cena con distribuzione tipo mensa, con un solo operatore per 80 persone, servendo primo secondo e contorno in un unico piatto; colazione insufficiente per quantità e qualità (sicuramente non come da foto dell’hotel) e senza reintegro dei pochi prodotti terminati già alle 8, con il personale che non si degna nemmeno di rispondere alle richieste di cibo o bevande; tavoli non sufficienti per tutti e costretto a mangiare insieme alle briciole lasciate dai precedenti commensali; reception spesso senza personale con documenti “sensibili” lasciato incustoditi.

Insieme ad amici e con un gruppo abbiamo passato il capodanno in questa struttura datata e mal tenuta in pieno centro a Salsomaggiore, peccato, perché dalle aspettative non pensavo proprio di arrivare a festeggiare la mezzanotte quando ancora dovevano servire tutti i primi, alcune persone non l' hanno mangiato perché era finito. Spumante alla mezzanotte tra il primo e il secondo, una cucina completamente disorganizzata i camerieri senza un minimo di esperienza presi all' ultimo momento ( molto gentili) con un capo sala maleducato ed incapace di organizzare il lavoro per un cenone di Capodanno. Cibo scarso e poco buono alle ore una e nezzo non erano stati ancora serviti tutti i secondi che quasi nessuno ha mangiato perché orribili. Sala fredda senza riscaldamento adeguato,tavolate apparecchiate da mensa con tovagliolini di carta Se fossi io il Sindaco di questa Città avrei fatto chiudere subito questa struttura gestita con i piedi anche per l' organizzazione delle camere.Nel mio gruppo in molte camere non funzionavano i riscaldamenti, termosifoni freddi, nella mia camera addirittura c' era lo split che era cadente e stava per staccarsi (per fortuna che nel mio caso sono subito intervenuti per ripararlo) sconsiglio di provare per credere.Mai più.
