New Era Hotel Old Town - Covered Pay Parking Within 10 Minutes Walk Reviews

New Era Hotel is a clean and cozy hotel in the heart of downtown. Breakfast is good but can be much better as they name themselves a 4 star hotel. The only negative item in this hotel in my point of view was that they put two bottles of water for the first day, and did not recharge them for the other days which was strange for a 4 star hotel in fact.

The hotel is at a very good location in old town. Just walking distance up to about 30 minutes in all directions are all the beautiful historic buildings you need to see. Yes it is going to be loud because it’s on the street with pubs and clubs but I didn’t mind the noise so much. Staff were very kind and helpful. Even helped me book a car for a discounted rate compared to what I would pay hailing a cab myself. The hotel is right next to Old City restaurant and the food is nice there. Keep in mind this is on a pedestrian street so cars can’t drop you to the hotel door. So if you have luggage just remember it’s about a five minutes walk from the Main Street where you get dropped off.

They waited for me until after midnight. The room was very clean and the service was great. Highly recommended if you want to experience the nightlife fully. Everything you need is nearby.

Right in the old town area. It's noisy at night but convenient for going to bars. To be precise, it feels like living in a bar.

Horrible stay as the street is full of extremely loud discos that interfere with the sleep. I don´t understand how a hotel can be in such a loud area. I wouldn´t recommend at all.

We were 2 friends. The location of the hotel is excellent in the old city. Close to the metro and lots of entertainment and restaurants. The hotel is very clean, large rooms, excellent service and a very fair price. The breakfast is varied and delicious. Highly recommend this hotel. We had a great time.

New Era Hotel is perfectly located in the old town of Bucharest and not far from the rest of the city center. I was greeted by the General Manager on my arrival and by a friendly receptionist. The room was amazing, with a lovely balcony with of Bucharest. The bed was super comfortable, the bathroom was really spacious as well. The breakfast has a great selection of warm food, fruit, cereals, coffee, tea and more Also in the room you will find a nice coffee machine. The whole stay was perfect - I highly recommend this hotel if you visit Bucharest!

Lovely Hotel. Good breakfast. Great location for getting around. Rooms comfortable & clean. The downfall the noise from the nightclub which went on until 4 am . Not great when you need to be up early

I stayed in this hotel with my friend for 3 nights. It is a nice hotel with modern feel. The rooms are very clean, nicely decorated, bathroom is big (toiletries provided), there is also a mini fridge, coffee machine, and the bed is so comfortable. The breakfast is very nice, loads of choices from hot food to continental (highlight for me). Reception is on the second floor, there was a boots/shoes machine cleaner which my friend really love (must try to). Location wise its central in old town, loads of nice restaurants and to walk around. I would have rate a 5 star, but just be aware if your a light sleeper, you may find it hard to sleep due to the loud music from night clubs nearby. Just bring a good quality earplug or airbud, you'll be find then. We didn't sleep well on our first night due to noise and heat in the room (couldnt open window due to noise) aircondition was set for winter time as per male reception staff. But 2nd night was not too bad we open the window for few minutes turn off aircon and had my airpods with me. The reception will provide earplugs if you ask. The noise is not hotels fault don't get me wrong its just the night clubs sorrounding by, usually starts from 11pm to 3am with loud music. If your up to partying this hotel would be the best. Otherwise a lovely hotel to stay if in Bucharest for few days, cleanliness is topnotch.

IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO SLEEP IN THIS HOTEL. I paid 6 nights in this hotel. I could only stay for 2 nights. There are night clubs near the hotel. from 23.00 to 07.00 in the morning music is played at such a volume that even earplugs do not help. I left early. The nice manager said that he understood everything and could not influence this problem in any way. He promised to return the money. Today is November 03, but I still have not received the money. Hotel manager Florian Tudor writes positive reviews about his hotel on Google. I strongly DO NOT recommend visiting this hotel.

When my Husband, Baby and I landed in Bucharest our original hotel The Mansion Boutique Hotel turned us away because they did not accept babies. We were frantic about finding another place to stay and we came across the New Era Hotel. This hotel has very friendly staff and they are incredibly accommodating. Bogdan was the front desk Clerk and was very engaging and made us feel at ease- he even helped us set up the crib in our hotel room. Unfortunately, our baby was so jet-legged she cried nearly all night. I was so worried they were going to say something about this but instead greeted us warmly the next morning with a wonderful breakfast. To highly recommend this hotel would be an understatement and we will be staying here again on our next trip to old town Bucharest.

Superb location downtown Bucharest. Super nice and welcoming staff, big and spacious room, tidy & clean, excellent breakfast. Very quiet despite the location (at least from my room). Highly recommend.

The hotel in itself was fine and the women on reception was both helpful and attentive. The room was large, comfortable with a great bathroom and shower room. The room was clean and tidy Located inThe old town, there was a lot of noise but it was perfectly located and you could hear the noise in the room The only thing that let this hotel down was the slimy, rude and arrogant duty manager who was offensive. The receptionist kept him under control but it was clear he wanted to be as awkward as possible to deny us the room on the floor that we had booked. My wife doesn’t like heights and his response was “ don’t look out of the windows” my response would have been to pull him over the counter but having my wife with me was a calming influence and probably prevented him from a necessary hospital visit
