"Stayed for 3 nights which included breakfast. Lovely clean room, staff are pleasant, location is great. Only thing I could fault is storage space (limited space for clothes/coats and shoes in wardrobe). Also there is a spa onsite which is free to use, you get robe and slippers in room. Would recommend staying here for 1st timers visiting Bucharest."

"The location of this hotel is OK; its not the best Many of the streets in the surrounding areas have shops that are boarded up and with lots of graffiti. Its about 30 mins walk from the old town. The room was a good size, with shower and bath. Some toiletries, a safe; kettle, tea and coffee. The bed was comfortable. My room was facing a car park with minimal noise yet on speaking to others they had rooms facing the road and they were very noisy. I stayed here for two nights and my bed was not made up on returning to my room! The breakfast had a good selection of fresh food, both hot and cold."

The hotel exudes classic elegance, and the service was nothing short of exceptional. Special mention must go to Daniel, the bell boy, whose dedication to guest satisfaction went well beyond his duties, setting a remarkable standard for hospitality. The hotel's layout is thoughtfully designed, making navigation effortless for guests coming and going throughout their stay. Its pristine cleanliness and classical architecture create an atmosphere of refined luxury that perfectly complements its historical surroundings. Location-wise, the Grand Hotel Continental could not be better positioned. Stepping out of the main entrance, guests find themselves directly on Bucharest's main thoroughfare, with an abundance of restaurants, shops and cultural attractions within easy walking distance. The city's finest museums are mere minutes away, making it an ideal base for both leisure and business travellers. Whilst the breakfast was available, we found it rather expensive for what was offered. However, this was not an issue as we discovered a charming café directly across from the hotel that provided excellent morning fare at more reasonable prices. The rooms maintain the classical elegance found throughout the property, with comfortable furnishings and all modern amenities one would expect from a hotel of this calibre. The attention to detail in both the public spaces and private rooms reflects the hotel's commitment to maintaining its historic charm whilst providing contemporary comfort. In conclusion, the Grand Hotel Continental Bucuresti offers a superb hotel experience in the heart of Romania's capital. Despite the breakfast pricing, which is easily remedied by numerous nearby alternatives, the hotel's outstanding service, perfect location and classical charm make it a splendid choice for anyone visiting Bucharest. A truly commendable establishment that I would heartily recommend to fellow travellers."

"Highly recommend this hotel! The rooms were spacious and felt right at home, maintaining Raddison standards. The receptionist was very welcoming, and the breakfast was quite substantial. Most noteworthy is their affiliated professional gym, which has an indoor pool and a full range of weightlifting equipment. I went twice a day during my stay – it was fantastic!"

But the biggest sting of the hotel is that they don't inform you that parking costs money A man comes to take the car for free And at the end of the vacation they want 130 euros per day Be careful and look for another hotel that respects its guests"

"The hotel is within walking distance of the city center (30-40 minutes). The airport bus stop is nearby. Our room wasn't ready by 2:00 PM, so we had to wait a bit. There was no elevator, which was very inconvenient for those with heavy luggage or for older people."

"For those not used to the way these appts work check in was a bit awkward, esp if you didn't set up your esim properly first abd are new in town. The key is in a small black box on the rails outside the door. Apart from that the amenities are top notch the location not bad around 10 mins walk from the old town"
