Hotel Lido by Phoenicia ★★★★
"Hotel is a very old classic building, lots of wood work, furniture are very classic, service is good , very convenient location. Room are clean."
Nobel Boutique ★★★
"Excellent location, clean and comfortable room, excellent value for money. Breakfast was basic, but everything was good. Highly recommended."
Hilton Garden Inn Bucharest Old Town ★★★★
"Impecabile. The room, the service, the breakfast, the room service lady. They accepted early check-in (they had free rooms) and they accepted late check-out for a fee. I loved it. And the best decaffeinated coffee ever. That you front desk to put up with my needs while pretending you were happy about it! My only hotel while in Bucharest."
Grand Hotel Bucharest ★★★★★
"Pleasant room in a nice big hotel. The location was excellent, with plenty of interesting sights within easy walking distance. Cleanliness could have been better, and it would’ve been nice to have more power outlets near the king bed. Overall, a solid option for staying in Bucharest."
VISIONAPARTMENTS Bucharest - self check-in ★★★★
"First time in Romania and Visionapartments made my holiday worth it!"
Zeus Essence Bucharest Venezia ★★★★
"Located in the old town, the hotel is quite old. Be aware that you need to buy your own water daily, as they only provide water for one day regardless of your stay. Breakfast is simple. It's not good value for money, and the rooms are indeed very old. The staff are quite nice."
Venis Boutique Hotel ★★★★
"Excellent location, great transport options to all main attractions in the city. Exactly as shown in the photos"
Botev Design Apartments - Walk to Old Town - Pumo Properties ★★★
"This was an incredibly pleasant stay at your establishment. You deserve endless stars! ⭐️"
InterContinental Hotels ATHÉNÉE PALACE BUCHAREST by IHG ★★★★★
"Overall, it's pretty good, but it's definitely a bit old now. It's a bit like 'all that glitters is not gold' – the lobby and restaurant are very grand, and it's close to the Greek Theatre. The staff are quite friendly, and the rooms are relatively spacious. It's considered one of the better options in Bucharest."

"House prices have risen but the room is a bit smaller"
The Marmorosch Bucharest, Autograph Collection
"Nice surroundings, but the coffee from the machine at breakfast was awful. Big plus for the in-room coffee machine. The gym and pool are both really good. Rooms are quiet."
Hotel Casa Capsa
"We felt very comfortable; the hotel is perfect for a city trip. Cleanliness, rooms, friendliness, breakfast,... everything was really great. The location is perfect."
Corinthia Grand Hotel Du Boulevard Bucharest
"Really like the hotel. But main restaurant was always booked for private party. No chance to have dinner, no chance to have breakfast. We stayed in this place only because of beautiful main restaurant and were have to go to the bar to have a breakfast were staff was slow and placing order for people who come later first."
Cozy Penthousestudio Cityview W12
"The stay was really great! the communication was smooth. The flat is clean and has everything one needs. I would ask the owner to consider adding a small trash bin in the bathroom, for women who need to dispose of certain things, without having to go back to the flat (my flat had a completely separate private bathroom, so I had to go through a small corridor to go back and forth, but this corridor is protected by a main door and gives access to only the flat and another one). The second suggestion would be to leave a roll of plastic bags, for the bin in the kitchen. The location is a bit far from the center, so if you want to stay for a short period, I would advise another location (it takes around 30min to get to the center). The area is rather quiet, although Bucharest is known for the heavy traffic (and, apparently, many speed drivers and cars with tuned exhausters?). The washing machine and the drying rack was a very nice bonus, they even leave some pods to do two loads. overall really great!"
Caro Hotel
"There is a very strange room type. The elevator cannot go straight. You need to go up to the bottom floor and then go down to the room. It is very inconvenient to bring a suitcase, but the room is generally good."
Park Inn by Radisson Bucharest Hotel and Residence
"Highly recommend this hotel! The rooms were spacious and felt right at home, maintaining Raddison standards. The receptionist was very welcoming, and the breakfast was quite substantial. Most noteworthy is their affiliated professional gym, which has an indoor pool and a full range of weightlifting equipment. I went twice a day during my stay – it was fantastic!"
Phoenicia Express Hotel
"The environment is decent, but transportation isn't very convenient. However, there's a parking lot available. The hotel entrance is hard to spot; it's right next to an empty lot. The price is very cheap, which is its biggest advantage. What more could you ask for?"
Hotel Michelangelo
"The hotel is within walking distance of the city center (30-40 minutes). The airport bus stop is nearby. Our room wasn't ready by 2:00 PM, so we had to wait a bit. There was no elevator, which was very inconvenient for those with heavy luggage or for older people."
Moxa Bucharest Boutique Hotel
"I feel that the room price does not match the hotel facilities. It is like a guest house in China. After staying for four nights, we were not provided with cleaning services on the first day and the breakfast was relatively simple."
Grand Hotel Continental Bucuresti
"Grand Hotel Continental Bucuresti Review Having recently stayed at the Grand Hotel Continental in Bucharest, I can confidently say this establishment lives up to its grand name. The hotel exudes classic elegance, and the service was nothing short of exceptional. Special mention must go to Daniel, the bell boy, whose dedication to guest satisfaction went well beyond his duties, setting a remarkable standard for hospitality. The hotel's layout is thoughtfully designed, making navigation effortless for guests coming and going throughout their stay. Its pristine cleanliness and classical architecture create an atmosphere of refined luxury that perfectly complements its historical surroundings. Location-wise, the Grand Hotel Continental could not be better positioned. Stepping out of the main entrance, guests find themselves directly on Bucharest's main thoroughfare, with an abundance of restaurants, shops and cultural attractions within easy walking distance. The city's finest museums are mere minutes away, making it an ideal base for both leisure and business travellers. Whilst the breakfast was available, we found it rather expensive for what was offered. However, this was not an issue as we discovered a charming café directly across from the hotel that provided excellent morning fare at more reasonable prices. The rooms maintain the classical elegance found throughout the property, with comfortable furnishings and all modern amenities one would expect from a hotel of this calibre. The attention to detail in both the public spaces and private rooms reflects the hotel's commitment to maintaining its historic charm whilst providing contemporary comfort. In conclusion, the Grand Hotel Continental Bucuresti offers a superb hotel experience in the heart of Romania's capital. Despite the breakfast pricing, which is easily remedied by numerous nearby alternatives, the hotel's outstanding service, perfect location and classical charm make it a splendid choice for anyone visiting Bucharest. A truly commendable establishment that I would heartily recommend to fellow travellers."
Novotel Bucharest City Centre
"Good location, everything within walking distance"
Hello Hotels Bucuresti Gara de Nord
"Hotel is about five minutes walk from Gara Bucuresti Nord railway station. Reception staff have good English. Average choice for breakfast, which is takwn behind hotel."
Hotel Minerva
"The location of this hotel is OK; its not the best Many of the streets in the surrounding areas have shops that are boarded up and with lots of graffiti. Its about 30 mins walk from the old town. The room was a good size, with shower and bath. Some toiletries, a safe; kettle, tea and coffee. The bed was comfortable. My room was facing a car park with minimal noise yet on speaking to others they had rooms facing the road and they were very noisy. I stayed here for two nights and my bed was not made up on returning to my room! The breakfast had a good selection of fresh food, both hot and cold."
Ibis Bucharest Politehnica
"The room was clean and tidy, with complete facilities, and a good location, very close to the train station by taxi. The sofa bed was comfortable when unfolded. We had an early high-speed train, so breakfast hadn't started yet. If you have an early train, this is an excellent choice."
