Hotel bem localizado, fizemos muitas idas e vindas a pé, achamos as redondezas bem segura.

This hotel is advertised on many websites as a 4 star hotel with very high satisfaction rate. But don’t be fooled by beautiful entrance. Once you get into the elevator everything disappears and you are welcomed into the rooms that resembles of a hostel. The rooms are terribly small. But that is not what is bad. The rooms are extremely dirty. Grime is everywhere: bathtub, faucet’s, toilets…Just look at the pictures! But here is where it gets worse. On my son’s duvet, there is an old blood stain. I had to put 3 boys in one bed even though we booked a triple room. My pillow case wasn’t changed. It was dirty and there was somebody else’s hair on it. I immediately went to the front desk to ask for a clean pillow case. And even though staff speaks very little English (or in some cases no English at all) this is a conversation we had using google translate: - Hi, there is a dirty pillowcase on my pillow. Can I please get a fresh one? - No, I am sorry, the housekeeping is finished for the day (it was midnight). - That’s fine, I can change it myself but can you please give me a clean pillowcase? - I am sorry I can’t leave the front desk I am by myself. You have to wait until tomorrow morning. - And how am I going to sleep on a dirty pillow? - I am sorry there is nothing I can do until tomorrow morning. He finally told me to wait for a second and he will see what he can do after I asked him if he would sleep on a dirty pillow if it was him. 15 mins later he took me to a linens’ room where there was no pillowcases. I took one clean sheet and said I would wrap the pillow with it. If you can please avoid this place at all costs. You’ll pay premium price $150/night for a hostel experience. Unfortunately we booked 2 rooms for 5 nights and they won’t refund us, even though we wanted to leave immediately after getting into the rooms. Rooms are advertised with balconies, this one has none. Just dirty windows. I can stomach lots of things but sleeping on a dirty bed and in a dirty room- I cannot.

We had a horrible experience at this hotel. By accident my husband broke a small side table in the lobby. In the beginning we were more concerned about my husband’s fall than the broken piece of furniture. Unfortunately, the management was more concerned about the small table than my husband’s well being. They asked us to pay $900 for the broken table. Since It seemed to be a lot of money for this kind of furniture we asked for proof that it costs $900 which they did not provide. We did the research online and found a set of two exactly the same tables for $200. Based on our research we offered them $250 in cash for the table and the trouble. They refused to accept the $250 and called the police. The management locked us in the room until the police came. We tried to explain to the police that the management wanted us to pay $900 for something that is worth no more than $200 but the police took our passports and kept us hostages until we paid the $900. It was the last day of our vacation. We did not have any cash left but since they threatened us that they will not let us leave Argentina we decided to pay with a credit card. The manger agreed to accept the credit card payment under one condition that the hotel will charge our credit card with black market exchange rate and not the official one. This was illegal and we would end up paying almost double. It would be around $1,700. The police did not do anything and pressured us to either pay with cash or transfer the money from our US bank account. We didn’t have any choice and asked our friend to borrow $900 to avoid further complications, get our passports back, and leave the country. In situations like this you have no rights as a foreigner. You have nowhere to go and nobody to talk to. It was a horrible and unnecessary experience in such a beautiful country. You definitely do not want to go through something like this. It was a theft in broad daylight. We strongly recommend to avoid this hotel.

725 Continental Hotel is in a central position, short walk one way to Plaza de la Republica, with Obelisco, and a short walk the other way to Plaza de Mayo.A stop for the open top bus tours is on the other side of the street. Hailing a taxi is easy on the roadside but reception ordered a taxi without charge. The hotel has no car park, but there is paid-parking nearby. This art deco building is in a street of such buildings making for a scenic cityscape, both from the street and roof top terrace, where there is a bar and small pool. Sunset drinks were enjoyed on the roof. Room and ensuite was large and everywhere was clean. Reception directed us to 2 double rooms before finding the twin we had booked, which was an unwanted inconvenience after a long journey. There was a paid mini bar but no kettle in the room. View was across to the buildings the other side of the street. Air conditioning worked well. The lifts are slow and the wait was tiresome, but fortunately we could use the stairs from our room on a lower floor. Breakfast is served on the first floor, and there is a bar and restaurant on the ground floor, which we did not use. There are tango shows and many restaurants within a short walk of the hotel. Breakfast buffet was adequate with omelettes cooked to order. Window tables have picturesque street views. Facilities give the five star rating, but 725 Continental Hotel is more comfortable than luxurious. Location and service on offer made it good value.

Booked online based upon recommendation from nearby hospital I was visiting. Room rate for high season was very reasonable…and it is located just one block from the Florida Street shopping and galeria! Very clean, quiet and team was outstanding in guest support, tips and recommendations for things to do (and watch out for). I collaborated online to arrange transportation from EZE (an hour away in traffic) for my pickup, as well as for my trip to the hospital and back to EZE. Billing was made to the hotel, very easy to coordinate! Breakfast buffet was very tasty and plentiful options. Well worth staying here…I will come back on future trips to BA!

So, the location was too good, that's right. The price also fine, but the rest - mmm, not really. Our room was too old, when air ventilation was working it was so noisy that we could hardly sleep, even had feeling that it will burst now and kill my friend who was sleeping under it :) The breakfast - horrible, almost nothing. And have to mention that our friends room was fine, so you should demand good room and ask to change if you get those ones on the oldest floor. Check in check out procedures were fine and overall normal, but more bad then good.

This was a very reasonable hotel in a great location, there is no bar or restaurant in the hotel but almost next door are a number of bars and restaurants which serve plentiful good food. The rooms are not plush and could do with refreshing but they were comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast had scrambled eggs and all the meat cheese and baked items and was free. We stayed 6 nights in all. 3 before our cruise and 3 afterwards.

I've been staying at Air B& B's since 2017, being La Habana; Cuba my first experience ever so Trip Advisor (finally) is great to see I can now review Air BB's and by the way just a ”constructive” criticism more ”categories” should be added: trains, airlines etc. (just saying). Here we go: As a native Argentinean I go home at least once a year to visit my family, obvioulsy 90 % of the time to & from Buenos Aires, not I'm not from B.A. (Buenos Aires) but I either fly to or from to continue my trip to my hometown. My last time there I stayed at Top Rentals Buenos Aires, my very first time using this company and I must say I was really impressed ! The property is located on Esmeralda Street so centrally located is within walking distance pretty much anywhere downtown, super safe, always be mindful of your surroundings like everywhere else and do please ( can't type all caps) but NO flashy jewelry or nothing fancy while on the streets. The check in process is located in one of the upper floors of the Building Complex, but upon arrival the security officer at the lobby will give you specific instructions where to go. Rooms are so spacious, clean, beautiful views of the area and a small balcony to sip your malbecs, with the River Plate on the background. The staff is super attentive, apartments comes with toiletries, towels, and utensils for cooking, but really ?? You are in The Paris of South America so who will want to cook ? I couldn’t use the pool too cold for me. I highly recommend it you won't regret it, so good this place is that with my luck!!! One of the South American Presidents (don't know whom) decided to stay in that same building at the time of my visit, no wonder why there were so many police and security so if this place is good enough for a president of country I'm guessing is good enough for us to!! (lol) You be the judge and please let me know. for more photos and details feel free to follow me at: @la_hormiguitaviajera on instagram. Please be safe ! GGuest User How a hostel should be run. One of the best I've ever stayed in, in 20 years of travelling. Curtains, charger, light and a lock box for every bed. Large lockers in the room. Rooms are super spacious. They have individual safety boxes with a password in the reception area and a camera watching them so you can leave valuables. Fastidiously clean. Cleaned multiple times a day. All sheets, curtains are super clean. Many large, private bathrooms around the hostel with free soap, shampoo, conditioner. Activities almost everyday ranging from empanada and mate making to tango lessons. A wide range of common areas: 2 large, clean well stocked kitchens, a quiet room, a work room, a garden. Free water dispensers. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff 24/7. Safe because you need to buzz in every time. Someone is there 24/7. Right next to Florida Calle for money changing. Closest subway is 2 minutes away. Lots of shops, restaurants super close by. Including a really great, affordable, vegetarian self service place and a really nice restaurant with great meat where you get a discount for being a hostel customer. I stayed there initially and went back after a trip to Patagonia. They let me leave my luggage while I was in Patagonia. Sorry for the long review but having travelled a lot and stayed in many hostels, I was really impressed with how this hostel was run. I would stay there again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it. GGuest UserFierro Hotel is a true gem! The location is good but we took a taxi nearly everywhere. There are lots of eateries all around this neighborhood though. The people at the desk exceed themselves in giving the best service they can. We arrived mid-morning, and we only had to wait a few minutes before our 2 rooms were ready. We waited in their dining room where they served us their amazing breakfast that comes with the room. We ate many of our meals here because the food is amazing, chef-prepared. The wines recommended by their in-house sommelier are delicious. The rooms are big with a fridge stocked with champagne if desired. Also a separate wine fridge stocked with several wines. The desk folks have great suggestions for things to do as well as calling a taxi, English-speaking if desired. We asked about a dinner show with tango. It did not disappoint! They made our reservations, we were picked up and taken to the venue and it was great! We needed a late checkout and they allowed us to stay til 2 pm. I can't guarantee that on busier days the same accommodations to time in and out can be given. But we can leave our luggage safely if needed, even use of the facilities of pool, dining and sauna were offered after checkout. I can't say enough positive things about this hotel. The only negative thing was having to leave!

GGuest UserThe hotel is situated in the heart of town - so many fabulous restaurants, cafes and bars on its doorstep. Facilities are basic but the room was very clean and the breakfast more than adequate. The perfect hotel for creating a base in the heart of Buenos Aires. The real plus we’re the excellent staff who were on hand and eager to assist with everything. Very knowledgable helpful and kind - special mention to Danny, Sarah and Gabriel who were excellent, all three went above and beyond, so a huge thanks to the three of you - you made us so very welcome. GGuest UserWe stayed for 1 night around 2 weeks ago before our cruise. We were pleasantly surprised how nice it was and the front desk host, Daniel, was very friendly and helpful. We arrived at the hotel late morning after a long flight from the US. We were relieved that our room was ready. We were starving and Daniel recommended a restaurant near the hotel that was excellent and affordable. Our room was on the top floor with a great view of the plaza. It was in a great location and we walked all over and saw landmarks like the Obelisk and Teatro Colon. The room was comfortable and had a mini fridge and sofa. The breakfast was very good. Highly recommend this hotel and it was very good value.

KKazzy travelerNot sure why this hotel gets so highly rated. I had room 502, a large room on the 5th floor, facing Guemes Street (I think..) it had a large king bed, a kitchenette and a balcony. I found it felt tired. The wall that leads out onto the balcony is all floor to ceiling glass and has sliding doors. I don't think that it was double glazed and the seals were non-existent and let in every bit of noise from the busy street below. There were no seals on the hallway door and no soft close. I definitely won't be staying again.

GGuest UserThis is a fantastic hotel ! Location , Quality of Rooms , Breakfast but above all else it's the Staff , at Reception, in the Dining Room and the people who clean and service the rooms ...all without exception ...superb. Friendly , efficient , eager to assist with all requests and always with a smile! They have made our holiday in Buenos Aires a great one and congratulations to NH Hotels for their staff selection and training processes. It's a winner and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit Buenos Aires. GGuest UserClean and well presented hotel in a great location on Av Corrientes. The street comes alive at night with buskers, dancers & small market stalls. The hotel is safe & staff were very helpful. Only (minor) negative was that yhe rooms don’t have kettles so you need to walk down to level 1 to get hot water (bit odd). But it’s a good hotel and worth a visit.

GGuest UserYou see the hotel incredible on the internet, but the reality is different. It's an old building, which I understand, but the rooms are not amazing, the carpets in the corridors look really dirty, the service is not good at all. The maid was more eager to ask if she better not clean until the next day, you have cockroaches in the room, the shower is very small both at the top and the space. You think the elevator is going to come off and it's very small. The noise is extreme, you can hear everything that happens in the rooms, the Argentines who stay are really noisy, the doors slam shut, it smells bad inside the bedrooms. I asked about the air conditioning and the answer was that due to the current climate they don't turn it on, that they only use the heating if you're cold, I told them that I'm not cold but hot, but I can't use it, they don't have a machine, at least for coffee , breakfast is not included. Really pay a cost for something horrible, dirty and bad service.

GGuest UserIt is a great hotel located in one of the best and most beautiful areas of CABA (and the subterrence is very close) and is quite soundproofed. It is a very large and comfortable hotel. Breakfast is complimentary. The hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable. We couldn't use the ticket because it was empty the days we went.
