Hotels near Urban Park in Buenos Aires

Hotel bem localizado, fizemos muitas idas e vindas a pé, achamos as redondezas bem segura. Andamos de taxi também, no local passavam vários e não tivemos problema nenhum. Quando chegamos no quarto, haviam duas camas de solteiro, nós mesmo juntamos e conseguimos dormir dessa forma. O frigobar não gela, é apenas para manter temperatura ambiente. Pegamos o recorde de calor na Argentina em Março/23, graças Deus o ar condicionado estava funcionando perfeitamente, o chuveiro é ótimo, café da manhã é ok, o wifi que não é muito bom. Se você vai fazer passeios, ficar o dia inteiro fora e não pretende ficar muito tempo no hotel, apenas usar para descanso, eu recomendo.

Our daily ended at 12:00, however, the hotel has a scheme to leave its bag (with all safety and identification cards), we managed to stay rolling in the region (and has many tourist points) The hotel was very good at the airport, and it was very good at the airport.

I was first hosted in a hostel during my first trip alone, so I went back - but I trusted the booking and tripadvisor reviews. I was glad I trusted. I was a very fun and comfortable stay. In the room, each bed has its own bedroom, lighting and chair (other larger box, for larger bags/mocks), air conditioning and bathroom. In the common areas there is a kitchen and a bar and a ”lounge” indoor and other outside - the kitchen is well equipped for daily uses, has a cupboard, ice cream, drinker, cups, cups, etc., which all guests can use. The bar is a great place to stay at night, talking and knowing the staff.Every night has a different scheduled activity for the staff interact, and the good thing is that it remains open until morning (although stop selling drinks and food there for half night). The lounges are good to stay too. The cleaning of the place is show, almost every day via staff cleaning, repairing items, screwing etc. The reception staff, especially Alex, are quite performing and sympathetic - he did even cure in a friend who had been injured. Habiéndome hospedado en Ibis Congreso antes de la pandemia, veo que ha decaído ya que ha perdido algunas de sus rasgos que son importantes para el viajero de negocios como asimismo para el turista nacional y extranjero. Una pérdida muy importante es que no ofrecen ninguna computadora de escritorio siendo que hasta la pandemia habian 2. Es algo que deben restablecer y se lo hice saber a la SubGerenta, quien tuvo una actitud desafiante al respecto. Otra depreciación es que no están ofreciendo el diario de papel como lo hacán en la prepandemia, me parece una excusa pésima sostener que pude contagiar covid.... La SubGerenta sostiene que ambos empeoramientos son parte de la pol{itica de IBis en la región, sin embargo, y tal se lo refuté, en países como Brasil siguen brindando ejemplares de los periódicos en papel y hay PCs en el lobby oen un Internet corner. Lo que sigue siendo de alta calidad es el desayuno, con mucha variedad. El servicio de bar también positivo.

First I'd like to say that the young man who assisted me when I arrived late at night at Up Tribeca was entirely professional and courteous with me, even though I checked out almost immediately after checking in. So: I initially booked three nights at Up Tribeca because the reviews for the hotel were all positive; however, the hotel ”ambience” is entirely artificial and - to put bluntly - weird. All the rooms are centered around an open-air courtyard (btw, that courtyard is the only fresh air in the hotel), and because I checked-in late at night, I had a very hard time trying to find my room number while walking the hallway along the courtyard, as it was lit by a few neon lights that (I guess) gave off a cool vibe, but no actual light. Because it was so dark, I mistook the wrong room for mine and kept trying to open the door with my card, until I noticed (again, hard to see with no light!) the ”do not disturb” sign on the door handle (sorry to whomever might have woken up to me trying to open their door.) I then continued down the dark hallway to my correct room, and when I opened the door, I was greeted to a completely windowless box of a room that reeked of synthetic air-freshener, making it smell like I just walked into a Zara Home Furnishing store. The smell was suffocating, and of course there was no way to open a window to get rid of it because no window existed. If you've ever watched the Apple Tv show ”Severance,” then you'll get the kind of atmosphere this room had: it felt completely claustrophobic and dystopic. I didn't spend more than thirty seconds in that room before I grabbed my suitcase and went down to the front desk, requesting a different room that had a window, only to be informed none of the rooms have windows. At that point, I asked him to call me a taxi, and I left for another hotel. To sum up: if you don't care that you're staying in a windowless box that smells like a home furnishing store in the local mall, you'll be fine at Up Tribeca. Otherwise, I would strongly recommend you book elsewhere.

The hotel is very close to the ferry terminal and it takes less than ten minutes to walk. From the hotel, walk to May Square, July 9th Avenue, the obelisk, and the Port Madeira area are very close. If you want to shop, you can go to the pedestrian street where the nearby Pacific Arcade is located. The hotel service is also very thoughtful. At first glance, you are a foreigner and take the initiative to help you call a taxi to avoid poor communication with the taxi driver, and avoid being slaughtered by the taxi driver. Not all rooms have electric kettles. Compatriots who want to drink hot water can bring a thermos cup to the bar to ask for hot water.

The hotel is located in the center of Buenos Aires, very close to 7th September Street and the Obelisk. Clean and tidy, warm service. Had dinner three times at the restaurant on the first floor of the hotel, and it felt good! The football in the hotel lobby is amazing 👍🏻

No es un hotel, es practicamente un hostel, la habitacion que nos toco no tenia aire acondicionado, solo un ventilador de techo y una tecla que accionaba algo parecido a un extractor, habitacion muuuuy caliente, el baño no tiene siquiera una mampara para la ducha por lo que luego de bañ**** si o si hay que pasar un secapiso y llevar el agua hacia la rejilla de desague, el baño tenia una perdida de agua constante por lo que el piso estaba mojado todo el tiempo. Televisor de tubo con video cable, el check out es ANTES DE LAS 10 AM, aclarado en un cartel en la recepcion y tambien en la habitacion. Hay que dejar la llave en recepcion al salir del edificio y solicitarla nuevamente al ingresar. Ubicacion buena, a unas cuadras del obelisco pero ubicado al lado de un ”bar del metal”.

We had a horrible experience at this hotel. By accident my husband broke a small side table in the lobby. In the beginning we were more concerned about my husband’s fall than the broken piece of furniture. Unfortunately, the management was more concerned about the small table than my husband’s well being. They asked us to pay $900 for the broken table. Since It seemed to be a lot of money for this kind of furniture we asked for proof that it costs $900 which they did not provide. We did the research online and found a set of two exactly the same tables for $200. Based on our research we offered them $250 in cash for the table and the trouble. They refused to accept the $250 and called the police. The management locked us in the room until the police came. We tried to explain to the police that the management wanted us to pay $900 for something that is worth no more than $200 but the police took our passports and kept us hostages until we paid the $900. It was the last day of our vacation. We did not have any cash left but since they threatened us that they will not let us leave Argentina we decided to pay with a credit card. The manger agreed to accept the credit card payment under one condition that the hotel will charge our credit card with black market exchange rate and not the official one. This was illegal and we would end up paying almost double. It would be around $1,700. The police did not do anything and pressured us to either pay with cash or transfer the money from our US bank account. We didn’t have any choice and asked our friend to borrow $900 to avoid further complications, get our passports back, and leave the country. In situations like this you have no rights as a foreigner. You have nowhere to go and nobody to talk to. It was a horrible and unnecessary experience in such a beautiful country. You definitely do not want to go through something like this. It was a theft in broad daylight. We strongly recommend to avoid this hotel.

So, the location was too good, that's right. The price also fine, but the rest - mmm, not really. Our room was too old, when air ventilation was working it was so noisy that we could hardly sleep, even had feeling that it will burst now and kill my friend who was sleeping under it :) The breakfast - horrible, almost nothing. And have to mention that our friends room was fine, so you should demand good room and ask to change if you get those ones on the oldest floor. Check in check out procedures were fine and overall normal, but more bad then good.
