Never again. You can't call it wellness. There are 4 sun loungers available for all hotel guests. The two saunas are so small that no more than one person can enter. Staff do not try to find a solution, but always defend themselves instead of understanding the guest. The floor was not even mopped for 4 days as the rooms quickly became covered in dust. No responsible person on site who is capable of keeping order in this establishment.

After our stay, we can only confirm the reviews on the lacking service in this 4* hotel. On our second evening, we had to endure 3 hours of dogs constantly barking on our floor. We called reception 3! times and were informed that the owners of the dogs were downstairs enjoying dinner. After our third complaint, at 10 pm we (and other guests on our floor) were offered another room. We were checking out in the morning, it was late and it would have been a big hassle for us so we declined this inadequate offer. Room and food prices are hefty so a fitting customer service was expected. We still feel disappointed thinking back on our stay and feel our evening was taken from us. We didn’t get the rest and relaxation we had in mind while booking. On checking out we received the compulsory sorry but that was it. (In addition, we never received our welcome drink on checking in either). Guest relations department are welcome to contact us via phone or e-mail to discuss further. Our details are on file ( Room 317 - September 19 - 21). Note: We had booked a more expensive room that didn’t allow pets, convinced we would be away from possible trouble….

Rooms are big and nice but that is all said. When booking a hotel like this you expect a very high service, at least when checking inn making you feel really welcome. The staff is very basic and cannot follow standards for an expected luxury hotel. Breakfast dishes were fine, but very crowded and expensive. We booked a package with diner in Pure C, nice restaurant but very overrated, prices that are asked in a 2 star michelin restaurant for sure, but that is not the case anymore... The Chef has left.... We will not come back. Our complaint was not even answered. Wishing the management all the wisdom to improve as 4 star is too much today.

Familiar to Cadzand it was my 1st experience to this hotel and I am quite disappointed by my journey. A lot of problems at the reservation. Very long check-in time (4.00pm announced 3.30), welcome drink excluding water, no chair to work in the room, open bathroom no notified, swimming pool in the underground without day light. Terrasse furniture not adapted! Only plus point is the exceptional breakfast buffet but located outside of the main building! There are plenty of other 4* hotels un Cadzand with better customer service!

Cozy hotel with clean rooms and friendly staff. Overall at maximum an average rating, because value for money is not great. Breakfast with 35€ pP is really hefty and the fitness and in particular the spa area are way too small and overcrowded on rainy days. Would not recommend.

The Strand Hotel Is a really well designed and comfortable hotel right on the beach in Cadzand. Nice room on second floor looking at the dunes. Nice pool and sauna and well designed bar! Nice music from DJ. Wish there was a few more sound in the bar! Might be good to have some live music! Parking underground a little tricky! Maybe just a need for a manager around the place to connect. Or perhaps we were not around the lobby enough. But a great hotel!

We booked a package with 2 nights and 1 time dinner in an Air republic restaurant . What a surprise, when they asked us to pay extra for dinner, we have acctualy paid in advance. they told us something like the deal was not available during out booking, but they didn't mention anywhere. Lady at reception was the most unkind Hotel person I ever met with a big faje laugh. Huge disappointment. Avoid this place if you can. Unfortunately it's a trap. Not to mention that bathroom was full of hair. My birthday weekend with a very bitter after taste.

Full score because the design is so original and really inspiring!! So go! But there a few things to consider: during our stay all restaurants were fully booked. Except for reception area there is no real space for relaxing or lounging. For 300 euro a night it is a bit of a drawback. Breakfast place is great however.
