Lago Resort Menorca - Villas & Bungalows del Lago

Very nice hotel near ciudadella in Menorca. Stayed in a bungalow with friends for 4 nights : nice comfy beds, great modern bathrooms with rain shower. Kitchen is not full but very practical (microwave, fridge, freezer with Nespresso machine, kettle, portable induction plate). Parking on site. Nice patio with dining area (indoor and outdoor) Safe large enough for a laptop. Quiet surroundings (except for other guests parties :) Shared pool. Great cleaning service. Nice little harbor nearby with restaurants and some tourist stores. Overall very good. Nicer to stay at than inside ciudadela as it is quieter but also close enough to go anywhere. Felt very safe.

Really great great hotel and good location to the marina. Hotel was really clean and we got upgraded to a suite 👍 Pool area was lovely and really relaxing, we enjoyed the dj in the afternoon. Would definitely recommend 👏

Very welcoming and helpful staff, very clean and everything we needed was available. The bed was very comfortable and the bungalow was very quiet. Plenty of shops and restaurants close by. There is lots to do and explore. The weather was perfect. We will return 😊

My partner and I stayed at the Bungalows for a week from 5th October on a Jet2 package. This holiday came complete with car hire but due to my age we had to change it to a coach transfer from the airport. The bungalows are self catering but you can use the facilities of the hotel right next door if you wanted to. However, the bungalows complex was so nice and quiet and intimate that we only bothered with the pool area of the main hotel on our last day. The main hotel is very impressive and the pool area very swish but we were a lot happier in the bungalows. The bungalow itself was very impressive. Large living room, 2 bedrooms, large bathroom with walk in shower that had a lovely rainfall shower head and your own private patio area with electric sun shade. The air conditioning system was quiet and very efficient, the fridge and freezer were large and excellent. Pod coffee machine, toaster, small induction hob, We've stayed at many hotels and self catering places but this was easily the best and most impressive. We read the review which moaned about ants and so I took an ant spray out with us. We never saw even one anywhere in the whole resort.... The beds were really comfortable and huge, nice pillows, ultra quiet rooms even though the bungalows are semis. Combined with the efficiency of the air conditioning, this meant we slept very well. Even though it's self catering accommodation, the maids came every day and the place was kept immaculate. They even supplied specific large pool towels to use by the smallish but perfectly adequate pool in the complex. There, there were plenty of sun-beds and sun shades and no need to reserve one at all since there are only 12 bungalows in the complex. The hotel supplies you with a wrist band containing a rfid tag to allow you to enter the complex and access your door lock. This was very useful and convenient. As I've already stated, if you want the best experience from a self catering holiday, you couldn't beat this one. The location is literally one minute from the marina, two minutes from a supermarket and a very popular restaurant run by a real character called Charlie. We ate there a number of times and were very happy with the food and prices. The resort itself is fairly small but there's a good choice of restaurants catering for various tastes. We tried the Chinese restaurant for dinner one evening and the beer was served in a glass that had been in the freezer and it was the coldest one I had all week. Other places had cold beer but nothing as good as that one (or two!) oh, and the food was pretty good too although the sizzling dishes we had splattered all over and tbh, made a mess of the table and a bit on our clothes. There is a restaurant next to the kids arcade that sells ribs and we ate there one evening. Now, I can eat ribs anytime, like TGI Fridays back home where I'd have a full rack. We ordered full rack of ribs for us both and wish we'd ordered just the one. They were huge and had the most amo

The rep was super helpful and quick to answer our questions. The bungalow was not five star, the fridge freezer was heavily dented and rusting on the outside. The wires from the TV just hung down unsafely and the outside sunshade was broken.

Lovely place to stay, very relaxing. Not really self catering though with only one plug in electric cooker ring.

It is a lovely place to stay but I feel the checkout process let it down. We were checking out on a Sunday and no one was there to check us out but told us over the phone to leave keys inside bungalow as “no one is working until Monday”.
