Hotel Medil

Great location, off the main ***** but 2 mins walk from everything. Very helpful manager, lovely staff, especially the v friendly barman. Nice spacious room. Fantastic spa… sauna, steam room, massage, pool, jacuzzi! Good food in the restaurant.

Very comfortable hotel, great service, very good food. 5 min walk with equipment to the ski lift. Great bonus - the hotel offers a unique service... daily ski trips. Led by stefano, you can book each day a different trip to the most beautiful sites in sella ronda. Stefano, very patient and friendly tour guide. Cozy rooms at a traditional style hotel, excellent breakfast and fabulous dinner. The pampering spa pool and relaxation area are great. The highlight of my stay at the Medil was the daily free guided ski tours with Stefano - the hotel tour guide. Every day Stefano initiated a tour to a different area in the Dolomites. His fascinating explanations, his patience and personal attitude are what made my stay at the Medil Hotel an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at Medil that provided very friendly and family like hospitality with excellent food and nice wellness center. What made it especially appreciated was Stefano, who works for the hotel but also accompanied a group of skiers who were the guests in Medil. It made the skiing more enjoyable and less risky as he is excellent skier and super knowledgeable of the Dolomites. When one skis without worries it makes the difference. Mrdil were very smart by offering this free (!) service. Thank you Medil and Stefano again for the wonderful vacation.

the best thing was Stefano,the ski guide who made our ski experience unforgettable,taking us to incredible slopes.The hotel is very nice close to the gondola,nice breakfast and swimming pool but unfortunately the wifi wasn't connecting from our room.

I had a very enjoyable stay in a suite with my son. The suite comprised a large room with king sized bed and a smaller room with a single bed that could be used as a sofa. There was plenty of room for a third person. The room was very clean on arrival and was cleaned well every day. The beds were comfortable. We stayed half board and were very impressed by the breakfast buffet . The evening meal was a very high standard and was very regional with Austrian influences in style. We had more than enough to eat . The antipasto buffet alone usually included a choice of two hot dishes in addition to all the salad items and was like a full meal in itself. All the staff were very pleasant and attentive. After dinner we enjoyed the lounge bar where Antonio, the bar manager, made us feel very comfortable. The spa facilities were immaculate. The highlight of the week for us was the hotel's free ski guiding service with guide Stefano. On the first day he led us to some of the beautiful far corners of the Sella Ronda area which we would not have discovered on our own in just a week. On the next two days Stefano took us in his own car to two smaller ski areas that are not connected to the main Sella Ronda area. We never would have considered these, but the experience was amazing. They were so quiet that we almost had the slopes to ourselves! Stefano also told us a lot about the history of the area and chose nice places for lunch. I would thoroughly recommend that anyone staying at the Medil should try Stefano's ski guiding. The Medil is a very hospitable well run hotel and we had a great holiday there.

.We Spent the last week in Hotel Medil The hotel is everything one can expect when planning a week of Ski. Comfortable rooms, friendly staff, great location. One thing that differs this hotel from other hotels near the Sella Ronda ski area, is the great experience we . had with the Ski tour guide, Stephano. He definitely rmade our ski vacation to be unforgettable - he is familiar with all the mountain areas, and did everything to build plans for full days so we just had to ski with him and have fun. Stephano is a great guy, professional, fun to be with and he can be the reason for skiers to choose the Medil Hotel, SPUD

We were at the hotel 5-12 February. Very good experience. Simple room, bed very comfortable, bathroom rather small, but adequate. Large modern ski room, with very large lockers, with boot warmers, glove warmers, hooks for helmets, even a mirror! Very nice friendly staff. Great service. Good food and plenty of it, 4 choices for every course, on half board. Campitello is a quiet village, not a good place for the younger crowd! Best thing about the hotel is the free ski guide included in the price! Stefano was an amazing guide. It’s very easy to get lost in the Sella Ronda and he took us to places we’d never have found by ourselves. You have to be an adequate to good skier to keep up with him though! We had a great time with him. I would describe the hotel as 3.5, rather than 4 star.
