The entire property had a strong chemical smell, as if trying to cover up entrenched mold. The one staff member working the desk at any given time did their best with what they had. There were a variety of chemical smells as one advanced from the desk to the room, passing the pathetic breakfast area. Once in the room, a smoking remediation smell was present, along with the smell of cigarette smoke it was supposed to have resolved.
I can't tell how the Marriott Bonvoy brand became remotely associated with this property, or how it remains so.
