"Visited temptation recently but the experience was just okayish. Food wasn't okay at all, reserved a table at She but the food was a big let down. Pole dance was average. Since we went as a couple we were expecting a king size bed but they gave us a room with Twin bed. We also mentioned a special request that we are visiting for anniversary celebration and tbh they have done nothing as a gesture. Infact, when we mentioned about the same, they gave us a solution by downgrading our room category. They also charged visit tax which was already paid by me to trip.com. 5 star to Trip.com who reimbursed that money to me.. Pool and Jacuzzi vibe was good. Playmakers were trying hard to make things fun. Definitely not as great as it's made out to be.... Overall, not a bad place but not something I'd rush back to..."

"Excellent service, very friendly staff, and the food was superb. The room was very basic but clean, and the hotel, while small, was very practical. The only extremely negative part of our experience was an invitation we accepted for a 'beach membership' promotion. It wasted a lot of our time. A short, bald man got very aggressive with me because I didn't take what he was offering. They push you to make a decision on the spot, and we felt truly uncomfortable with the whole situation. It made for a very unpleasant moment."

"It is an excellent hotel with great swimming pool area, clean and big rooms with lots of amenities. The greatest thing about this hotel is its location. We were going to stay in hotel zone but later changed our mind to downtown. And we couldn’t have decided better. All the tours operators do pick up from a couple of locations in downtown area and one of the location is the right outside this hotel. The las Palapas park is walking distance, so is all the local restaurants, super markets etc. it’s near several banks and hotel has a couple of cash points inside the hotel. The only slight nuance is that it is right outside a main road and noise from the road (especially if your room is facing the street) can be a little annoying in the morning during rush hours. Breakfast is fantastic and staff are very nice and accommodating. 4.9 star out of 5."

"Location is perfect. It’s easy access to everywhere. But service is average. Some staff is friendly, some of them is not friendly. But it’s not 5 star hotel, so it’s okay. Conclusion, I got satisfied with booking this hotel. It’s nice to access to private beach. Swimming pool is also great!"

"i booked last night (recommended by Chat GBT!) and had a great sleep. The bed was comfortable and had the best pillow on my trip of 5 days so far. Nice blind blocks out light. Had some trouble with the espresso machine (nice touch), but it was promptly changed. it’s ideally located at La Isla shopping mall. The rooftop bar was really buzzing till 11 pm, so you might not want to book the fifth floor. I was on the 4th and it was perfect. i swam this a.m.—both the pool and jacuzzi were delightfully warm. Caught up with Emily in Paris on Netflix! I’d stay again in a minute. in fact, i may go back this trip. i also found Trip.com had the very best price for this hotel: $165."

"Perfect stay for couples. My girlfriend and I have traveled to Cancun/playa Del Carmen in the past and like to split our time between 2 resorts. We did that again this time and live aqua was far and away better than the Riu that we stayed at during the first half of our trip. From the moment we were greeted and provided an overview of the resort, to the room, pools, beaches and amenities, it was all exactly what we were looking for in our romantic vacation. Brenda (who greeted us), Rebecca (who gave us a free welcome hand massage) , Marco (who was definitely the highlight of our trip and makes the smoothies in the buffet area), and Diesson (who we ran into multiple times in different areas) were just some of the staff we loved. We really enjoyed talking to each employee there, but don’t remember everyone’s name. The beach was super clean with little signs of sargassum. The beach area staff were also very attentive. They’ll dress a daybed for you and get you drinks in just minutes. Oh and Ramon was great too. He doesn’t work for the hotel, but he works for the jet skiing and parasailing spot on the beach in front of the resort. Oh and room service is extremely fast too. We’d call and they’d show up with drinks/food within 15-20 mins each time, even though it was a busy spring break week. Highly recommend this place over all of the other Cancun resorts I’ve stayed at previously."

The location was perfect for us, just two minutes from the water. The beds are unbelievably comfortable and we loved having fresh water, towels and daily cleaning, plus fresh beach towels every day. It is so worth the money. Alejandro who welcomed us in the lobby was an absolute sweetheart, as were all of the staff. Truly a wonderful stay."
