This Riu was outstandingly clean and the staff were always available for our needs. The housekeepers were amazing!! Our Junior suite was fabulous with full ocean view. We felt safe and comfortable throughout the resort. The layout of the restaurants and activities was so convenient and easy to navigate. The daily activity/entertainment poolside was fun!! The evening shows were okay. Michael Jackson Show was very good. The dinner reservation system with beepers woked well..longest we waited was 45 minutes. The buffet was plentiful for our breakfast and lunches. Pepe's poolside grill was great for snacks or lunch, but they could have a daily special. It was the same everyday. Bar service was excellent. Some drinks were watered down. My favorite was the lounge bar with ocean views, even pretty at night!
This was a really great all inclusive resort!

Not 1 bad thing to say about this resort. One of the best resorts I’ve stayed at in Mexico, thus far. Rooms were spacious and clean. The food was very good (they served baked buffalo wings by the pool area. The best wings I’ve had in a while). The liquor canisters in the room had Cuervo as an option, which was good enough for me. The staff are very friendly. The beach is GORGEOUS (police patrol constantly, in order to keep the panhandlers away).
The best part is as soon as you walk outside of your hotel, you have a plethora of dining and shopping options, all within walking distance. There is zero reason why anyone should be bound to the resort for their entire stay. The area is also safe.
If you can’t get the free shuttle service, call an Uber. An Uber to the airport is $30. If you try to use the taxis that are already at the airport, you are going to pay up to $110, for a 20 minute ride.

Top notch new Cancun property that manages a lot of guests without ever feeling crowded. Food was average to excellent depending on which of six restaurants- very good overall.

Overall the hotel isn’t bad. Very good housekeeping. Great and delicious food, but too bad restaurants services, some of the waiters are slow working and sometimes never come up to us.

This property is located in a beautiful area of the city and is amazing hotel. We just have a complaint about one staff who was super rude and not nice at all……. But about the property we recommend it totally. But the staff have to be more prepared and friendly.
