Hotels near Villa Domergue in Cannes

On the first day, I found someone's toenails and asked them to clean them. They didn't clean. I asked for cleaning 5 times in 3 nights, but they I just wrote down the room number and didn't do it. And most of the female staff are not willing to help. I didn't even smile and didn't say hello when I left. And they say, because it's a ”service apar**ent” There is no cleaning service per day unless you are staying for a long period of time, and towels are only provided on the first day, and you have to pay 5 euros if you want. However, washing machine is not included in the room. But the location and facilities are good.

Location far from the center, simple and clean rooms, pleasant pool, beautiful view, good breakfast.

It had an air conditioner and I thought it would be helpful in the hot summer. You can eat breakfast quite a bit. The employees were kind. It was a very satisfying stay.

My partner and I stayed here for a couple nights during my interrailing trip. The location of this hotel is perfect. It is a 2 min walk to the train station and about a 5 min walk to the beach. There are also lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. The gentleman who checked us in was very friendly and had great customer service! We arrived early but was able to check our bags in and headed out. Again, when we arrived back to the hotel late at night the male night reception was super friendly! Great customer service! However, on checkout the lady at reception was very rude. We overheard her ask for 40 cent more from the couple in front of us as the hotel had charged them wrong. And then without even saying hello she stated that we owe money. We had paid in full on arrival so was confused and asked why. She stated that the gentleman who checked us in had not calculated it right and that we owed €2. As this had happened to the people in front of us as well we felt it was wrong of them to be asking every customer for the extra money if it was the hotel at fault. She became very abrupt and said “will you not pay it then”. Obviously we weren’t bothered about the €2 but it was the way we were being spoken to considering it was the hotel at fault. Perhaps staff training in customer service is needed for this individual as well as training in basic numerical skills. Overall, I don’t want to leave a terrible review as it was only that one lady who treated us very badly and was very rude. All the other staff were amazing and went above and beyond! So yes I would recommend this hotel to those who are looking for a cheap stay in Cannes with the perfect location! Just disappointed in the bad ending!

It is our second year and we still find it the best place to stay in Cannes. Rooftop jacuzzi, Spa, room with balcony with a mountain view, comfortable bed, quiet location, close to the beach, shopping street, and restaurants. What else do you need for your perfect stay? Just book it! It was more expensive this year, I hope next year the price won't go up.

The room was clean and the room was clean. The recording process was smooth, but there was a complicated event in the form of a broken bathroom door, and the receptionist with the help of another lady did everything to remedy the failure. It took time, but it was successful. In general, not bad. I remind you that if someone wants luxury, he must look for other hotels three times cheaper. I was only there for one night on a long road and I was satisfied. For a longer stay, it is probably not ...

Stayed in classic room which was very spacious and rooms were very quiet. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast included. Large indoor pool area or you can pay 20 euro to use rooftop pool for the day. There is a carpark but you need to book a space as they are limited and it is very hard to find. Turn right into the street just before the hotel and about 50metres up that road on the left is a roller door. Press buzzer and they will let you in. No signage on roller door.

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel. When we arrived, we were told they were overbooking and they stayed in a two-bedroom apartment near the hotel. PRO: - very low price - comfortable location in the centre (5 minutes walk) - courteous and available staff - car parking included in the price (availability to park the car before and after check-in) AMENDMENT: - the apartment where we were set was on the second floor without a palace lift that it would need important restructuring works, such as the apartment, dedicated to the beautiful and better to be rented, economic and recovery furniture, summary restructuring ... - cleaning the apartment was insufficient, Balcony and chair on the balcony full of birds, much powder in the house and little care. - Bed and couchs uncomfortable - Wi-Fi not working - lack of hairdryer - only 1 taken near the double bed. - they have not re-established the room from one day to another - the bedroom lamp is not working - bathroom without tent and without hook for douche (very uncomfortable and flooded bathroom) I generally give an evaluation just enough, But certainly, one of the most critical points has not left us a good memory.

We booked a room at the Hotel Verlaine through *********** for a decent price and even received an upgrade upon our arrival. The hotel is really lovely already from the outside and even offers the possibility to park directly at the property. Also on the street in front of the hotel we would have found a parking space without any problems. The hotel is modern, but at the same time beautifully and stylishly furnished. Of course, the central location is particularly fantastic. In less than five minutes we were at the beach and also the main shopping street is reachable in just a few minutes. On our next stay, we will definitely stay at the Hotel Verlaine again (if the room rates are similar).
