Stayed 3 nights the rooms are tired and dirty, mould in the bathrooms. Left a watch in the room upon checkout, I was told it was being sent to my address 3 weeks later still nothing called and I was told the manger was “pissed off” and to come collect the watch absolutely horrific service. Much better accommodation close by avoid!

Really enjoyed our stay in the King size bedroom at theEbury Hotel. I loved the sense of history and the fact that the hotel must have been a grand home with a majestic cedar in the garden. The staff could not have been more helpful and courteous and it was easy to walk into Canterbury. I wholeheartedly recommend the Ebury

I needed to book a hotel for a Christmas do in Canterbury and settled on this as being (hopefully) walking distance to the town, having parking included, and also seemingly well priced. In fairness it delivered on all 3 so i was very satisfied. Room was clean and well maintained, bed large and comfortable and bathroom was excellent with a large bath I thoroughly enjoyed languishing in the next morning. Staff were friendly and although i did not try the bar it looked very attractive. Overall it felt slightly dated but that may be your thing so It's not really a criticism and the ample free parking is a big selling point as this is becoming rarer and rarer in town center hotels. It is only an easy 20 minute stroll into the city center and I would certainly stay here again if I need similar accommodation. Overall it delivers what it advertises on the tin and that is all you can ask in my view.

Perfect place to stay right in the centre of Canterbury, surrounded by beautiful gardens. I've stayed here 5+ times now in either the apartments or cottages. I've stayed on my own and as a family with our dog. Our dog loves the gardens. 10min drive to woodland for walks. Friendly, helpful staff. We will continue to use Ebury for any future stays in Canterbury.

Spent 4 nights here, ideal location for Canterbury centre, 15 mins walk, had a car park which was a bonus. The hotel itself is an old building, very clean but a little tired in places. Our room was comfortable, linen, towels exceptional. Tea tray was restocked every day, cheap biscuits let it down and also not a fan of a bottle of water being refilled and dated. This should be sealed individual bottles of water. The bathroom seriously needs updating, cracked sink, mould round the tiles, water only came out of a few holes in the shower, not powerful The breakfast is on a pre order basis, cannot fault it!! Plentiful and sets you up for the day, nice continental selection too. The staff were very professional, welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. All in all we had a good weekend, would stay again if the bathrooms got refurbished

Although Eburry is advertised as a Hotel, our 2 night stay in the main building felt more like being in a guest house. Expect old style traditional fixtures and fittings, worn out dated carpet and tired furnishings. Our double room was on the second level, with a lovely view out to the back garden. There is no lift and no assistance with luggage, unlike in most hotels. Tea and coffee in room. The room was spacious. However the bathroom was disappointing, toilet holder broken so toilet roll left on top of cistern, light bulb needed changing, shower was weak. Cleanliness was averge and superficial. Location and complimentary parking were the drawcard, although costings might have factored the 'free' parking into the accommodation cost. It was a flat walking distance to the city centre and supermarket/ restaurants and sightseeing. Reception on our arrival was terse and not welcoming. Breakfast was very good, both in quality, variety and service. Hot breakfast was pre-ordered for selected dining time. There was a bar area in the room behind Reception which was largely quiet during our stay.

This hotel is in an excellent location as it is just a 10 minute walk into the city. There is also lots of free parking. The hotel itself was clean but rather tired and old fashioned. The man on reception was polite but not at all welcoming. We can’t comment on the breakfast as we had to leave before it was served.

We stayed here the night before our wedding (with our whole wedding party) in May 2023. It's a nice little hotel, walking distance to Canterbury town centre. We stayed in the main building, and the rooms were ok but quite dated. The garden is lovely though. The main issue was that some of our party could not get hot water in the morning (which wasn't ideal as we were getting married that day), and I did not have a shower in my room, just a bath, so had to use a shower in my Bridesmaid's room. Not ideal if you don't know anyone else staying there. The breakfast was nice, although my vegetarian friend did receive a meat sausage when she had not requested that.

Very special place to rest and visit Canterbury. Spacious rooms, a bath tub, delicious breakfast and very friendly and accommodating staff. Only 600m to the cathedral and town. We initially hesitated staying here and arrived without a booking, the man at reception was so kind and understanding and arranged a room without hesitation. They also had free parking which is a bonus. Dont hesitate booking this beautiful hotel.
