Lagoon Beach Hotel & Spa

The food was amazing. Some of the best ive had. The catering staff worked hard, fast and very attentive. They laughed and made you very welcome. Fantastic service at every meal, drink and question asked. Reception was average. We told them that there were... No cushions on the sunbeds No deodorants in the room No towels in the rooms on 2 occasions No sunbed towels. Recepion told us they would sort it, but it took 6 times of asking to get sun cushions arrived upstairs. No deodorant at all delivered. Towels not given until following day. The reception staff were very short with their reply and made us feel in the wrong for asking. Rooms were big, clean and bed was very comfortable. Large balcony but needed table and chairs. There was 1 chair, we asked for another one but it never arrived The pool on the top floor was nit clean and not moving so felt like getting into a pond. . Very remote area so you cant walk any where to get anything you have to rely on the hotel. The hotel had alot of upgrade work going on and the carpets were filthy with wood chips.

We stayed at an apartment. Housekeeping did a pretty well job, as well as the staff at the dining area. Internet at apartments area is pretty slow. Complaining was useless. They are using WiFi APN with 2.5ghz mostly. The telephone was not working. So in order to get in touch with the front desk, I had to go all the way to the reception. The phone got repaired twice, but for some reason the line was broken again. Anyways the great plus point of the hotel is the location and access to the public beach area as well as a large parking area with enough security staff.

The rooms were small and they misplaced my products I left in the room. Haven’t had a call back or apology since
