"Very noisy Hotel and room cleaning can be Improved. We asked 3 times to get the room cleaned in the 7th floor. Very disappointed that they charged us and other Guest minibar Drinks and Snacks which we did not had. I can understand of its just 1 water or 1 Snack but it was more and we paid 200 Rand more. No reaction from the Management."

Blackbrick Hotel Gardens - Cape Town Hotels in Cape Town

Blackbrick Hotel Gardens - Cape Town

"During our stay, housekeeping removed items from our fridge and later admitted via WhatsApp that they had thrown them away, mistakenly assuming we had checked out. We had not. The items were valued at R1,500. What made this worse was management’s handling of the situation. The manager was dismissive and later claimed the staff “did not find” the items - directly contradicting the written admission previously sent to me. That inconsistency speaks for itself. Nearly a month later, no refund has been processed and communication has largely stopped. There were also repeated privacy breaches. Despite displaying a “Do Not Disturb” sign, staff entered our room multiple times. On one occasion, a staff member walked in while I was completely naked. This was reported to reception, and no formal apology was ever issued. Mistakes can happen. What defines a business is accountability. In this case, there has been none. We made every effort to resolve this privately and professionally before posting this review. Unfortunately, the lack of transparency and follow-through has left us no alternative. Proceed with caution."

ONEHUNDRED on M - Fluent Serviced Apartments

"Spent 6 nights here in Feb 26. Room was nice, generally clean, comfortable beds, good air con, nice communal space in our 2 bed appartment. Main issues were no air conditioning in one of the bedrooms and the floors were quite dirty. The major issue was that there was no water at all for about 24 hours. To be fair this was a local issue not a hotel issue but it was really challenging and the company didn't manage it very well! But, assuming the water is working, it's a nice apartment in a nice setting, would recommend! Staff are nice too, I liked Dee!"

"Had a lovely stay at the sunflower stop for a good 2 weeks. Met amazing people I can call friends too! Big shoutout to the amazing team, Sid, Augusto, Sim and all the volunteers! I felt warmly welcomed and will definitely make a return trip sometime in the future. 10/10 ;)"

Signal Hill Lodge Hotels in Cape Town

Signal Hill Lodge

"Good place to have a short stay. It’s up a hill so not wise to walk. They have a parking space enough for a few cars. Room is basic, no microwave or fridge. It has stairs too so take note if you don’t want to lug your luggage up and down (they have a lift but it doesn’t go to all floors."

"we stayed wit 6 adults in Villa 16 with a marvellous view of Lions Head and 12 Apostels - the room was very nice and comfortable for us six. The hotel facilities and the gardens are really amazing including the suspension bridge to reach your villa. Breakfast and dinner was excellent as well , the service very smart and professional, pick up service by Van works seamless . A real good choice - we will be back quite soon. Many thanks for this perfect stay Klaus"

Protea Hotel Cape Town Waterfront Breakwater Lodge Hotels in Cape Town

Protea Hotel Cape Town Waterfront Breakwater Lodge

"The hotel is located inside the Business School of the University of Cape Town. It has a beautiful building and is said to have a long history. The environment is good, quiet, and safe. You can take an Uber directly to the yard. The location is great, next to the waterfront. The entire commercial area is patrolled by security guards. As long as it is not too late at night, it is no problem to wander around alone. The roadside next to the hotel is the citysightseeing station and service point, and there is also a very famous aquarium. The hotel itself is a bit shabby according to the current domestic standards. The lobby and rooms are relatively small, and the facilities are also a bit simple, but the overall maintenance is relatively clean, and the waiters clean very carefully. Basically, the stay is quite comfortable, and the breakfast is good"

The Onyx Apartment Hotel by Newmark Hotels in Cape Town

The Onyx Apartment Hotel by Newmark

"The hotel is located in a relatively safe area, about a 20-minute walk from the Waterfront. For the quality of the rooms, I believe the price is too high. The breakfasts are delicious and à la carte (partially buffet style). The staff is friendly, and there's a restaurant downstairs. Don't rely on the pool; it's small and dirty, but it does offer an excellent view of Table Mountain :)"

"This is the second time having to book with you guys however this time was terrible! The lights in the sitting room were not working, the blinder was half way through and it wasn’t closable which meant having to sit in the dark because another person can see through. I went down and spoke to the receptionist (male) he said I should wait in my room and someone would come up and help but no one came. I love booking at this place but the recent experience is definitely gonna make me think twice."

"This is my second stay. There is really no scenery outside the window on the lower floor. It is a narrow street, but the room is spacious, the breakfast is rich, and the location is convenient. I am still very satisfied. You must try the breakfast."

"I had heard it was in a not-so-safe area, but there were no issues as cars could pull right up to the hotel entrance, and there's a security guard at the parking entrance, which made traveling by ride-sharing app perfectly fine. However, I'd definitely advise against walking, even for short distances. The staff were very helpful, and my stay was comfortable. I was too lazy to go out, so I ate at the hotel's restaurant several times, and it was excellent – delicious and inexpensive. I'd love to stay here again when I next visit Cape Town. I've attached photos of the delicious burger and T-bone steak I had at the restaurant."

"This is hands down the top hotel we stayed at in South Africa. We were quite anxious as first time travellers to South Africa (which after the trip we realised we needn't be), and the wonderful staff at Trade Hotel eased us in. My dad loved them so much he still speaks fondly of them. They went all out to ensure our comfort, giving us tips on the safe and fuss free places to visit, where not to go (including a market we had wanted to visit), and World Cup tips [included in the price it seems ;)] . Hotel was highly securely, super safe, and as you can see from the photos, very aesthetic. We walked everywhere. Thank you for this most wonderful stay."
