The location is really great, we stayed in a 1 bedroom 4 sleeper apartment and had a side view of the ocean. The staff are friendly will go out of their way to accomodate you. There is very limited parking so you must book a spot in advance. When there is loadshedding there is not alternative power solutions and the lift will not work. The apartment is tiny, and really cannot accomodate more then two people. The bathrooms are really in need of an upgrade. (photos attached) In the bedroom due to the tiny size one cupboard cannot be used/opened fully. Our balcony door did not lock, which left us feeling a bit unsafe. The digital safe only worked with a key, and we also opted to not use it - did not feel secure enough. The lift is neglected - tiles falling off For the prime location of seaview I expected more Our housekeeper Cherlene, was great though - friendly and each day we came to different bathroom towel themes (photo attached)

Came here as part of a group after a cruise. The cruise was sublime, this putting it politely was very poor. Having now seen some of the online room photos I thought I'd selected the wrong hotel at first. Our room was dark, very outdated, dark brown furniture that was knocked and chipped and a bath I would not use which looked unhygenic. The breakfast was fine but the buffet evening meal was tepid and sat on the counter from 6.15pm until after 9.00pm without being changed. The selection was also poor. there was no al a carte menu. If you visit make sure you get a modern room and there are eating places within a 15 minute walk.

Mojo's is a bucket list type of accommodation. staying here is an experience on another level. I always make sure to visit once a year during my annual travels and I always meet amazing people and make life long friends/ travel baddies. If you are looking to meet new people, eat good food and be able to take a morning stroll along the beach... Mojo's is the place to be! WARNING! LIVING HERE CAN BE ADDICTIVE 😃

Sadly, our stay 1 week was not good. This hotel is falling apart. The rooms need MUCH improvement. No matter which room you pick on the south side (parking lot view!), they ALL need new windows (we were a group of 12!). How is it that being in Cape Town where it's always windy, the hotel has not realized the need for good windows - I do not understand. They rattled at night and leaked water when raining. Bathrooms are just sad and small, no toilet paper holder, so you literally have to do a 180 degree turn and reach up for TP. Not ONE wall in the room had any sort of art, all 4 plain white(ish) walls. TV was the size of an IPAD and only had 7 Chanels (local), why... I don't know. Breakfast was OK, nothing too crazy, but most of the time you had to chase people down for them to make an omelet, or finish cooking the bacon as it was almost raw! How did you get endorsed by Marriott is beyond my (our) comprehension!
Pineapple House Boutique Hotel

My sister and I stayed at this stunning hotel for a night to catch up and put our feet up! We live in Cape Town and this “staycation” was just what we needed! It felt like we were overseas! The hotel is a feast for the eyes! Every room is different and has so much character and attention to detail. The little pineapple theme flows through very cleverly. The bathrooms are wonderful and the breakfast was delicious! The staff is very warm and friendly and professional. The hotel is close to lovely little restaurants in Regent Street and close to the promenade for a walk or run. I highly recommend this hotel and it epitomises what a Boutique hotel should be.

Breakfast is good, but you need to order it yourself! Only cold food is a buffet, and hot food needs to be ordered by yourself. But it's fine. The location is near the sea point in the white living area of Cape Town. There is a supermarket within a ten-minute walk. You can stroll around the street. Surrounded by Korean, Thai and Chinese food. Room facilities are a bit old and the area is a bit small, especially the toilet and bathroom feel small, bathroom facilities are a bit poor. But very clean. Facing the sea, the distance is a bit far, but the sight is very good.
