Le Palace d'Anfa

Maarif|0.94km from QUALIPLUS
We booked two rooms for ourselves and our two children. We also made reservations for shabbat dinner at the Hotel restaurant. We were assigned second floor rooms. The first night the music from a Morrocon dance club on the lower floor beneath us was so loud, none of us could sleep. We complained to the desk many times and each time they told us it would stop. This lasted until past 3 in the morning!!! Needless to say we were were exhausted the next day rom not sleeping. At the front desk they apologized and said it would NOT happen again. Yet, the same thing occurred Saturday night. Again past three in the morning the music blasted and thumped despite our complaints. When I asked to speak to the Manager he was always unavailable. The clerk said there was nothing he could do and he was aware ”it is a problem for many guests”. When we checked out I again asked to speak to the manager looking for a credit. Again he was off premises I was told and that he would call me. He never did. I tried calling the hotel over 20 times and was put on hold indefinitely, hung up on, and told he was unavailable. I was never able to reach him. When I went back and looked at the other 1 star reviews I see many people had the same complaint about the night club in the hotel. They know this will disrupt the guests but they do not care enough to stop it or alert the guests. They prefer reviews like this. While standing at the desk I heard other guests complaining and being given the run around. Every other hotel we stayed at in Morocco was great. This was horrible. DO NOT STAY THERE>

Impeccable service, the staff is very attentive to the customer. The rooms are very comfortable. The only complaint is that some foods in the breakfast buffet, supposedly hot, were lukewarm!

Nice apartment, modern and elegant furnishings with excellent corners of disappearing kitchen. The only sin is that there are no powders/cups/plates, you have to buy all use and throw, and there was not even the courtesy water that you are given in any riad, even at low cost. I understand that it is more a long-term business apartment, but just little to feel more ... in Morocco :-) We asked for assistance on the internet and a boy came immediately and the cleaning ladies brought us the sticks (including those in the wardrobe) sticks. Any problem resolved within a quarter of an hour! Excellent location in the city.

Great hotel, and the best part was the breakfast. Chef Siham made me some of the best Moroccan pancakes (Msaman). It’s a great place where you can try local foods with western touch. Stuff are also very friendly and professional. I still haven’t tried SPA but it seems expensive .
