We are in love with Tuscany and in particular Riserva di Fizzano. We fell into love here 18 years ago and finally made it back. Needless to say, our hearts are here. There are three wonderful women who run the reception area. I had the pleasure of dealing with Ana throughout the entire booking process (many emails to find the perfect apartment for this stay) and a good portion of our actual stay. All the staff were warm, friendly and helpful. This time we stayed in No. 22, a lovely little self-contained cottage with beautiful views of the hillside and olive groves right outside our door. Comfortable kingsize bedroom, separate living room and kitchenette with relatively private outdoor space made for a romantic stay - just what we were hoping for. Read other reviewers comments on location. It really is ideal! Castellina in Chianti was our favourite village and a mere 12 min drive. Exceptional little place. Great restaurants. A perfectly secluded and stunning resort, Riserva di Fizzano is truly our happy place. Thank you Ana for all your kind help before and during our stay. And a big shout out too to Veronica - your kindness and smile at breakfast each day was wonderful. You made us feel so at home.

The apartments are large and very clean. The staff are very helpful. You definitely need a car to see nearby places like San Gimignano, Pisa, Florence and Siena. The views are amazing, beautiful sunsets.

We stayed at Relais Riserva di Fizzano for three weeks this year. This property has the most magnificent views from the dining area and the pool that we have ever experienced in Tuscany (This was our 10th visit to the area). The room we had was spacious and had everything we needed for a long term stay. The Staff (Illaria, Sonia and Ana) were always available, helpful and friendlier than we could have hoped for. They provided dining suggestions as well as calling a variety of wineries and restaurants on our behalf to make dining and visiting arrangements. The breakfast buffet we very complete with a variety of cheeses, breads and pastries and eggs each day. The cappuccino was always perfect. We dined at the restaurant on the grounds twice. It was good and quite convenient with a perfect view of the sunset. Overall, this was a very good value. Easy to get to (11 minutes from Castellina in Chianti) and well within reach of a multitude of great restaurants, wineries and other place to visit (Siena, San Gimignano, San Donato, Radda, Greve, etc.).

Fizzano is an excellent couples or family resort created out of old farmhouses upon a Tuscan hilltop. The rooms - really apartments - are large, comfortable but a bit rustic, each with kitchen and bath. There is a beautiful pool and superb restaurant on a terrace with great sunset views. There is a communal Laundry room at extra cost (6 euros). Ample breakfasts are included. The only downsides - no daily maid service though halfway through our 6-day stay we were offered new linens. One funny thing, we were told that once our toilet paper ran out, we’d have to supply our own, so we bought some in a store. But later in the week we were given more by the hotel anyway. The staff of 3 women at the desk were uniformly cheerful and helpful with restaurant and touring recommendations.

The perfect hilltop retreat surrounded on all sides by vineyards and rolling hills with beautiful villas. Place was magical. Food was out of this world. Congratulations to the chef! Some of the best I've ever had. Perfect place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Relais Riserva di Fizzano! The views were incredible. The apartment was equipped with everything we could possibly wish for and furnished with love that we immediately felt at home. Thank you again for the wonderful time! The apartments are located on a hill in the middle of the surrounding vineyards and nature which gave us a 360 degree view of the surrounding hills. The apartment was extremely clean. The grounds were very well maintained by the lovely staff. The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. They were also flexible. They also warmly welcomed our dog. Thank you again for your kindness!

We loved our staying at the Relais Fizzano (10 days) : wonderful location in the middle of Chianti and close to many villages and cities to visit, very handy supermarket in Poggibonsi or Castellina, staff is always nice and friendly finding quick solutions for you clean accommodation with all necessary for self catering and lovely gourmet restaurant 😉 maybe book from end of May to be able to use the swimming pool rent a car is highly recommended... The visit with tasting at wine enoteca Rocca delle macie is included as well 👍👍👍

Was an amazing experience. The property is located in a beautiful wineyard, it is very calm and relaxing there. The staff is very friendly and always happy to help. I recommend this property for couples as well as families with children.

also in difficult times the stuff did everything that we could relax and felt save. The appartments were clean the breakfast more than ok and the front desk team gave, like in the years before, a lot of recommonadtions and tips for sightseeing, phantastic. Thank you and see you soon
