Room was definitely clean. Bed was somewhat comfortable. Needs some updating and when the heat comes on, it was really noisy. Overall, a good stay, definitely felt safe. would stay here again.

It was unique how the property was on the side of a hill. It is tucked in about a 5-10 minute walk away from Central City attractions (******s, restaurants) and a short (5ish minute drive) away from attractions in Black Hawk. We didn't use the bus service, but that is something that's available if you're wanting to go from ****** to ****** from central city to black hawk.

I totally understood that we stayed on the older side but the rooms were dirty the carpet in the room we're sticking dirty sheets. One positive was the bus stops right infront

The room was clean except the shower curtain had brown spots on it. If you stayed in the shower more than 2 minutes the bathtub started to fill up. We went to the grill restaurant. I ordered the prime rib and mashed potatoes. They were out of the potatoes. The prime rib was dried out with no juice in it what so ever. Our waiter was hesitant to take it off the bill when I had only taken one bite. He did and didn't offer a replacement. The hotel staff was awesome.

Room very clean and comfortable. We always enjoy our stay. My only complaint is paying a resort fee. Why should I pay for things I don't use.

When we travel to Central City, we always stay at the Grand Z Hotel and have enjoyed our previous experiences there. This time, we had no heat in the room and no hot water in the morning. The room was at 62.5 degrees most of the time but did get as warm as 64.5 for a short time. It was uncomfortably cold! In the morning, a hot shower sounded good to try and warm up. However, there were problems with the boiler, so we had no hot water. We were not the only guests with this problem. We have reached out to the manager but haven't received a response. It is disappointing to think our comfort isn't a priority for this hotel. We believe we should be compensated for the inconvenience and uncomfortable temperature. We're still hoping the manager will reach out to us to make things right.
