Porto Antico

The hotel, located in the old town, is inaccessible by car (it's tucked away in an alley), and you have to leave your car in a peripheral parking lot to get there, dragging your suitcases! Not very pleasant. On the other hand, the hotel is situated right in the heart of the old tourist area with many restaurants... which are right under your room windows, making it noisy in the evening. The rooms, which look beautiful in the photos (certainly very old), are in very poor condition. The run-down bathroom was tiny, and you had to maneuver the door to squeeze through to the toilet or sink, which were all very old. The shower, covered in mold, was also small and difficult to access. Breakfast is served at tables directly in the alley. No charm whatsoever! The hotel is well located, but best avoided.
